Called for information on an inspection and to my surprise there was no appointment just a first come first serve basis in which fit my schedule PERFECTLY! Stopped by first thing in the morning met his co worker (forget his name but seemed like a cool guy ?) thinking it would take a little while and to my surprise BAM 20 mins done, he pointed out a few things for future reference and even recommended a tire shop. Had a great conversation with Sam and the reasoning behind the RESSURECTED shop name and even got some info on a true replica of Noahs Ark in Kentucky hehe appreciate that my guy ??. Long story short great kind hearted guy with the consideration of current hard financial times, even overheard an estimate on control arms someone called about and let me tell you this man is fair ?. Definitely my go too from here on out not just inspections and as we all know its rare to find a trustworthy mechanic that's not just in it for his pockets...this place is a spark of light shining in an infinite abyss of darkness. ?
They were quick and I felt they charged a very fair price. No appointment just pulled up had my inspection done in 10 minutes. They offered an oil change that was also done quickly and for half the cost of getting it changed at the dealership. I will be coming back here for future inspections.
These guys are the best! I have gone twice now for vehicle inspections and they are always fast, kind, and professional. They even scraped off windshield residue from a random neighborhood advertisement and filled my tires. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing car work.
this review is long overdue. i’ve been going to resurrected auto for my inspection for years but only recently started going there for oil changes too. they are always so kind, honest and quick. they even checked and refilled my tires for me without asking because they saw i had a low pressure tire light on :’) as long as they’re open, and as long as i have a car, i’ll be going to resurrected auto.
Sam is a great businessman. He treats everyone warmly. There's a wait sometimes because his shop is popular but its well worth the wait! You don't have to worry if the work is done correctly because it is everytime!!
The mechanic was upfront about there being a wait, I appreciated that. I didn't have to wait nearly as long as I thought I would. I got an inspection done in less that 20 minutes. They had me in and out and were very professional. I will be using them again.
I came in here at 10:20 AM for an inspection and was done by 10:45 AM. Great service, extremely welcoming and kind, and respectful. Will be coming back for future services.
Called in for a last minute car inspection today and was able to be fit in their schedule right away. The man who helped me was very friendly and I was out of there within 20 minutes. I recommend anyone to come here for an inspection or any car related needs.
I cannot recommend this shop highly enough. I came here for my inspection, and I was in and out with enough time to get to class early. Service is first come, first serve, which is great for busy schedules. The owner is incredibly friendly, answered all my questions, and treated me with great respect. I will be back next year!
I had a great experience here getting a state inspection done after I moved from out of state. Sam was very personable and got the job. done in less than half an hour and I was on my way. There is a discount for cash payments. I will definitely come back here!

Brought my car here for brakes and an inspection after reading all the good reviews. The big box auto store wanted to charge me 4.5x more than what Sam charged to change my brakes. Honest companies are hard to come by these days but Resurrected is one of the good guys! On top of that, the shop atmosphere was fun and friendly. This is my go to shop now!
I’ve been going to Sam for a couple years to get my inspections done; he’s is very personable and down to earth. The whole process took less than 20 minutes if that just have your paperwork ready. I would highly recommend this establishment if your looking for an honest mechanic.
Sam is the man. Good dude. Got an inspection done pretty quick after driving up with no appt. Just be sure to bring your insurance card and registration. Good price too, better with cash. I want to post this to help him out, but I don’t want him to be too busy next time I need his assistance.
I searched for auto shops nearby, and while this one wasn’t the closest, I’m so glad I made the drive. Sam, the owner, is a wonderful guy—I even saw that he was featured in two news articles that made the front page! He was knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain everything to me. As a woman, I never felt taken advantage of, which is something I really appreciate. He even went the extra mile by helping me navigate the online process to renew my registration when I didn’t realize it had expired. The team here truly goes above and beyond. I’d highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service!
I came in today, Sat. Jan 11 after calling around 12 pm to see if they had time to complete a quick inspection after just registering my Jeep in PA. The owner was quick, efficient and answered all of my questions. He’s also low key funny ?. Anyway, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. No hidden costs. If I ever have car trouble, I will definitely be back here. They seem trustworthy and based off of the reviews, they might be amongst the best in the city.
The first time I visited (September) I needed a state inspection. I was concerned that my car might not pass due to the worn treads on my tires. I asked the mechanic if they could assess my tires before conducting the inspection to avoid wasting money. The mechanic raised my concern with the owner, who personally came out to introduce himself and assured me they could assess the tires first. He checked all four tires and then completed my inspection. I really appreciated this level of customer service because he didn’t have to go out of his way to accommodate my request, but he did.
Most recently, I came in for an oil change. The pricing the owner gave me for the oil change and filter replacement was better than the shop I usually go to. Once again, the service was quick and efficient—I was in and out in under an hour.
What truly stood out to me was how clean my car was when I got it back. At other shops, I’ve had mechanics leave oil or grease marks on the interior, but this wasn’t the case here. The owner even reminded me when my next oil change would be and placed a sticker on my windshield with the details, just in case I forgot.
The customer service here is excellent, and the attention to detail is impressive. I’ve already told the owner I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Sam is awesome. We took our car there for inspection on Saturday morning (recommended on local FB page), and he got us right in. We had a busted axle and he said he’d have it done by 10am. There was an unforeseen issue once he was doing the repair, and the part he needed was going to take until Wednesday to come in. I am giving birth any day and really needed my car by Monday, and once I expressed the urgency, Sam went above and beyond to track down the part, and he had it done before 2pm that same day. He didn’t even charge us more. Nice people, convenient hours, fair prices, and obviously care about their customers. We’ll definitely be giving him our business in the future!
Sammy and his team hears your vehicle’s concerns and fix what’s needed, they don’t charge to up charge you for stuff you don’t need like Blinker Fluid. Definitely recommend them if you are in the Northeast or North Philly
The reviews are legit, the owner and mechanic are both amazing!! Today was my first time getting service and it won't be the last. I felt like family! I had to get brake pads for my car's front and rear. The owner gave me a great deal on both and had me in and out in a couple of hours. I really appreciate the hard work, dedication, and honesty at Resurrected Auto. Another satisfied customer!!! Keep up the great work!
