Wonderful place, great workers, a worker names Isaac helped load my desk into my car and even disassembled it and made sure I knew how to put it back together, super helpful! That guy deserves a raise!
They don't answer the phone when the store first opens. This is a recurring problem. They regularly feature items on Instagram, which they don't indicate as "sold," after they sell. The only way to save oneself a trip to the store is to call. I have unnecessarily traveled to ReStore simply because they don't answer the phone. Please do better.

WARNING! After spending 45 minutes to get there only to find donations are only until 4:00. ADDING THAT INFORMATION TO THE WEBSITE WOULD BE HELPFUL!
Highly recommend to have donations picked up (as well as to drop off). Appointments can be made ~2 weeks ahead. As a professional organizer, I arranged for this in March 2024 from a client's house. The Donations Coordinator (by both phone and e-mail) was very accommodating & helpful and the employees who did the pick-up (from main level, 2nd floor and basement) were professional AND they kindly carried a large (and very heavy) tube TV to my car for electronic recycling delivery.
Just an update, this is a retail store. Just saw a 7 quart nonstick stock pot there that is worth probably exactly $40 that was priced for $40. This used to be one of my favorite picks. I’d stop in weekly, not even looking for anything in particular sometimes, and made some great finds. But, it’s becoming close enough to a retail store at this point. I just saw some $20 throw pillows. Now I’m headed to Walmart, still in search of what lead me there today.
Large variety of equipment, houseware and furniture ! Some clothing items! Paints, bathroom sinks and fitness equipment! Great place to visit ! Might find something you need at a good price !!
This place is extremely high in prices! I’ve been to tons of Habitats and never saw the prices like this one on Washington in Philadelphia. Use furniture for more than store prices. Saw the same sofa table on Amazon for $100. Theirs is used. They’ve gotten all West Elms couches and they are stained up since on the floor but expect people to pay over $500 for a small couch that looks like it’s for a teenager. They have target clearance clothes for over the clearance price. Isn’t this stuff donated?
Obviously the selection depends on timing but we’ve always found something amazing that fits what we need within our budget. They have a great mix of modern and antique as well as new in box versus secondhand. Staff is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Very rude employees. Illegally double parked on my one way street for a half hour when there was plenty of spots for them to pull over and NOT block traffic. It is a one way street and when I asked them to pull over to the side because I was going to be late for work (which I was 20 minutes late) he told me to illegally back down my one way street.
I love this store! You really can’t beat it- I have a dresser, dining room table, and tv from here. Everything is priced well and you can find new stuff every week. The staff is helpful and amazing. It’s a true gem! Couldn’t suggest more

I came in to look for a lamp and ended up buying a dining table and four chairs, for a total of around $90. Because I was looking for a lamp, I didn't think I'd need a ton of space in my car, so I didn't clear out the backseat. The staff was incredibly nice and incredibly helpful, especially Oscar, and we ended up getting the table to fit! Cannot recommend ReStore enough!
Checked out the Re-store today and was amazed at the amount of stuff they have! It's mostly furniture separated by room (i.e. living room, dining room, bedroom) but I was pleasantly surprised to see they also have lightbulbs and lamps, curtains, pillowcases, etc. In the back there are also appliances (refrigerators and freezers especially) and some building materials like flooring. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you have a home project you're working on because they might have what you need before you buy something new.
For donations, they have a separate donation center that takes furniture and household stuff. While the Re-store does not take clothing donations, there are two bins for clothing and shoes right in the front! Very convenient if you don't want to drive to Goodwill further south.
All in all a good experience! I will probably make it a habit to start coming by here more often as the stock can obviously change as items are sold and new items get donated.
Ran into Mary at this location. She was very friendly and extremely helpful! I purchased a mint Denon Home Theater System w/ Bluetooth at an excellent price! Also a cordless Ryobi and charger for $45. Just like the 2 Los Angeles stores that I frequently visit - because that is where I live - they always have excellent deals on home furnishings, tools, supplies and other equipment.
I really think some of these reviewers have no clue how much new furniture costs. I saw brand new lamps at Habitat for $30 that were online for $120. I saw various BRAND NEW Safavieh items that I also found online and while some things were close in price (patio set online $470; Habitat price $400), most things that I found online were substantially higher. I purchased some Keller Charles melamine plates for outdoor eating for $1 a plate and Amazon has them four for $35. Like all used furniture stores, you have to hit it on the right day to find the right item. Finally, we found the staff incredibly helpful and friendly.
Back again today (10/24/2020): Found an end table marked $60 that we found online for $215 and a lamp for $25 that we also found online for $135. Also, Threshold coffee mugs with a manufacturer tag of $5 for 25 cents each. The lady behind us in line bought Levolor blinds (still in the box) for $20 (online for $70). A man walked out with multiple bathroom sinks for $20 each and a stainless steel kitchen sink with an offset bowl for $50. You simply could not believe the amount of doors he was buying! He filled his entire van with them and sinks! And I convinced a couple to buy a pair of Safavieh lamps for $50 that retail for $240. Audrey Elaine and Ajee checked us out and they did a beautiful job wrapping everything and were incredibly helpful and friendly!
One of my favorite stores to go before the pandemic started. They always had a great selection of tile - super cheap. And best of like-new furniture pennies on the dollar. I hope to see this store open the near future.
I liked their selection of used and somewhat new items they have and the quality was surprising from my experiences at other 'thrift-store'. Their staffs were very nice and cordial, and offered me help several times as I walked around the store looking at all they had to offer. Will definitely come again. It does help that their price is way more cheaper than your traditional thrift-stores in the area.
We all know what habitat for humanity does. This is one of their local thrift stores. They get everything from knick knacks, books, furniture& kitchen cabinets. They also have some new goods donated by contractors who have supplies left over from job sites. For example new tiles, light bulbs, just about anything construction related. Check out my pictures. Prices are a smidge high on some stuff imo(like the paint, can get it cheaper in the oops section at a big box store) but I suppose that's from many different volunteers pricing. I would have given them 4 stars, but the guys working the counter are always super nice so they deserve to keep all 5 for that alone. Becareful in the parking lot if you park in front of the doors. People try and whip in off Washington while people are trying to back out. The guys let me grab a table from the dumpster area that was broken but perfect for a charity project. So I threw them the few ones I had in my pocket for a donation.
Great second hand store that has all sorts of stuff for the home. You can donate items or donate your time! The staff is friendly and always willing to help. Located right on Washington Ave near Greys Ferry Ave. Stop by and check this
You can great terrific deals here. I've picked up everything from carpet and doors to lightbulbs and paint. ... Even a bathroom sink. The kitchen sink is next. But beware: the bargain shoppers can be a bit aggressive.

Brought a very nice looking and comfortable sofa & loveseat from here for only $180 total for BOTH! Loved that the staff was so friendly & helpful. They explained their process of cleaning & "delousing" the furniture before displaying it for sell. Will be returning for other items soon!
Perfect place to find interesting furniture or cheaper options for home renovation. They stock a variety of pieces, pretty well organized and displayed, priced from a couple of dollars to a couple thousand.
The staff is very friendly and will help you load stuff into your car if need be.
