I booked a Private Cellar Tasting and we had the most incredible experience. The owner was our sommelier and was happy to answer all of our questions as we learned about wine. We got to try customer favorite bottles and unreleased samples from the actively fermenting tanks. When booking, their communication was fast and clear. They catered to music preferences and dietary restrictions with the included charcuterie board. The staff were kind, attentive, and fun. Lovely experience for small groups looking for a unique experience!

I celebrated my birthday here this weekend and it was amazing. I was able to reserve a large section of the space and have an open bar with incredible snacks (cheese, pickles, gigante beans, and more). It was a breeze to organize with their events coordinator and the privatization fee was significantly lower than the dive bars I priced out (how?! why?!). We were a group of about 25. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. They made it easy to just enjoy being among friends. I would 100% book this space again - I had the best time.
Beyond being great for a big event, the wine is also great. Can't recommend this highly enough!

Mural City Cellars in Fishtown is truly one of a kind. The owners have taken incredible care in creating a beautiful space that feels inviting the moment you walk in. They studied across the world as sommeliers and bring an amazing depth of knowledge about both their own wines and wines from international regions. Every bottle has a story, and they share it in a way that is approachable and exciting.
We tasted all of their wines and every single one was perfect. The small bites are thoughtful and delicious, and the décor makes it a place you want to linger. The owners and staff are warm, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do, which makes every visit special. On top of that, you can even take their wines to go. It was a Monday but was still lively and busy, others recognize this place is fabulous.
I cannot recommend Mural City Cellars enough for anyone who loves wine, great atmosphere, and exceptional service.
I love it here! Recommend getting the flight, they let you tell them what you’re in the mood for and they’ll create a custom flight for you. The staff is all so kind with great customer service! FYI: dogs aren’t allowed in the garden or inside, but you can sit with them on the picnic tables alongside the winery.
this place rocks. such great vibes, build your own charcuterie plates, cool merch, and fantastic wine. the man that helped us at the bar was so informative and so kind. he also gave us a free glass of wine for it being our first time in, which is just above and beyond. we will be back!
Deciding to stop in here for a glass of wine (became 3) during our trip to Fishtown was one of the best decisions we could have made! Francesca was so friendly and gracious, even giving us a tour of their facility and barrel room. It’s the perfect business in the perfect neighborhood.
Customer service was really great honestly. Michael was amazing at explaining all the wines to us , I would recommend this place if you wanna taste different wine flavors and learn about the background of it!
We've been itching to visit Mural City since they opened and it didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere, down to earth and knowledgeable staff, and some fantastic local wine. Cannot wait to visit again!
Fantastic vibe, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and some tasty wines. We couldn't figure out where the cigarette smoke was coming from though - we kept feeling like we were immersed in it, but didn't see anyone outside smoking. It was really strange. I highly recommend this spot even with the phantom cigarette smoke smells wafting in.
This place is super cute. Great kind of 80’s/90’s interior. Very hip lounge vibes which is what I want when I’m drinking wine. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the wine was. I think these folks know what they are doing. They are not some wannabe wine maker. The wines I tasted I would actually drink.
Love this city winery. The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable. The wines are great quality, & beautiful atmosphere. In the summer they open a wine garden and feature local food trucks. Check out their website for fun workshops for date nights, girls night, or solo date. They really got it all. One of my favorite spots to grab a glass of wine with friends.
Mural City never disappoints. They have incredible staff that are ALWAYS so kind and accommodating. It gives off a very cool/relaxing vibe. Even though at first look it does not appear to be a place to bring a child, we have been there multiple times with our toddler and they have worked to make our experience great. The wine is always amazing and I loved getting their mulled wine during the holiday season giving all the cozy vibes. Check it out!

Stopped by after dinner last night and was warmly welcomed by every staff member. The staff explained the wines to those of who were first timers. We settled on a bottle of their red blend. It was rustic, with good acid and fruit. A lovely wine. The manager introduced us to one of the owners Francesca. She couldn't have been more charming. She invited us into the cellar for an impromptu tasting of some wines they had yet to bottle. Some really lovely wines that show the varietals that grow best in our region. The Pinot Gris was lively with grapefruit and a little more body. Definitely different but delicious. Our group was impressed. Highly recommend a visit for a group. Drink the wine and be merry and stay for the warm and genuine hospitality.
One of my fav neighborhood spots. The wine is unique and delicious, the interior is fun, ALWAYS good music (vibes), and the staff is absolutely amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I also recently did a wine class and it was super fun! I’ve only done something similar before in Portugal so it was really interesting learning more about locally produced wines and their origins.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Mural City Cellars twice, and each experience has been incredibly memorable. The first time was the day after my wedding, with my in-laws, making it our first honeymoon spot. Francesca and the team made it special by sending out glasses of wine, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly marked the occasion.
Most recently, I celebrated my birthday there this past weekend with a large party, and once again, the team went above and beyond. Even when we stayed slightly past closing (so sorry, guys!), they were kind, accommodating, and gracious. Nicholas even helped my dad with his confusion about buying a bottle in-store versus buying one to enjoy in-house. It’s this exceptional service that sets Mural City Cellars apart, making every visit special.
Besides the outstanding service, the wine itself is phenomenal. Every visit starts with one glass and ends with multiple bottles, thanks to their incredible selection. Their vegan-friendly options are also a great find for those seeking such wines.

What a gem! My husband and I stumbled upon Mural City Cellars on Mother's Day and had such an amazing experience. We had our 14 month old son with us and this place is amazing to bring your kids while also having great "local" wine. They source all of their wine within 300 miles and they were all very interesting and unique! The owner was there and she also has a young child so she was so sweet and understanding with our son. In fact, there were 4 other families in the bar! The space is gorgeous and just gives you a casual and homey feel, while also feeling like a special occasion. We will absolutely be back, very soon!
Pretty unreal to be charged $55 for 1 bottle of wine. The price reflected a service charge? If you sit at the bar you are served. If you don’t then you serve yourself. Doesn’t really make any sense if you go there and don’t sit at the bar. Maybe change the wording/policy? Place was nice and staff was super friendly. Other than that not worth going to.

This places is entirely self service which is fine but I’m not sure you can impose a service charge on the customer when the service interaction is so limited…I understand wanting to support your staff but the business needs to cover more of those costs in this situation
Not sure why they need to charge an extra $20 to drink a bottle of purchased wine inside. I went to purchase 1 bottle of wine and it came out to $68 which is wild. For a place that’s self seating and self service this is SO EXPENSIVE and unnecessary.
I planned a surprise party at the Wine Gardens this past May and couldn’t recommend it more. Nicholas & Francesca (and the whole crew) were so incredibly kind and helpful in their correspondence and the day of the event. They helped connect me with other vendors, offered a complementary wine tasting and helped wrangle folks and make sure we had everything we needed.
The wine garden is lovely, the wines are all excellent, and everyone had a blast. The pet-nat rosado and skin contact orange were highlights. Can’t wait to go back next summer.

Not one to hand out 5-star reviews willy-nilly, but this is a lot of fun - DJ and a queer flea market in the wine garden - and the wine is good. We got the Pet Nat Rosato, and it's hitting me right. Great staff, very relaxed vibe. Real return material.
The Prices.
Very nice place, very friendly staff. However, paying $15 ($12 + $3 tax!!!!) really rubbed me the wrong way. It's truly amazing how much that area has changed. A place known for low real estate value has become overpriced and overrated.
If you're adding a 20 percent surcharge, then specify it as a surcharge and not a tax.
What an awesome spot!!! As others have said, the staff here is utterly amazing. Not only was the wine fun to try & delicious too, but it was like visiting a vineyard and getting a fantastic tutorial on natural wine, local grapes, local wine producers, and more. The five of us had such a delightful time on a random and beautiful early-summer Thursday. Will 1000% be back!
