Jefferson Locksmith did a fantastic job changing our locks and didn’t hesitate to come out when we had a slight problem with our new lock and fixed it free of charge. I’ve lived in a 100+ year old house for many decades, and out of necessity I’ve had to employ a considerable number of craftsmen over the years to make repairs/improvements to my home. I generally rely upon the recommendations of friends when I need specialized repair help and I did not already have a relationship with someone in that field. I’ve learned the hard way that there are two primary characteristics I value in any craftsman I deal with, and a worker/company who has only one of those characteristics is problematic at best. And what are those characteristics? A proficiency in their chosen field…and integrity. You’d be surprised at how many craftsmen I’ve encountered who knew their field inside out, but lacked integrity (in my opinion). Recently a portal door to my home developed a problem. The lock was installed when we first moved into my home…so it’s a pretty old lock. I did not have a friend who I could turn to for a locksmith recommendation so I started researching locksmiths on-line. I came upon the Jefferson Locksmith Company during my research and after reading through the reviews, I decided to invite a representative out to survey my lock issue. The representative arrived on the agreed upon day somewhat ahead of schedule. He worked diligently to repair my lock even though he had never seen one keyed in the same way my lock was keyed. He worked on my lock and repaired it but unfortunately…not to my complete satisfaction. The lock worked somewhat “ok” while the technician was in my house, but failed the very next day. I called Jefferson and reported my displeasure and another appointment was made. The second technician arrived a little early on the agreed upon day and after discussing the lock with me assured me that he could fix it. “Yes” it’s a very old lock keyed in an unusual way, but he said he could bring it back to life. He worked diligently on the lock and in the end…the lock now works PERFECTLY! I asked the technician if Jefferson would be available to also work on some of the locks which are original to the house. Instead of saying that Jefferson could fix any lock including ones that are over 100+ years old…the technician said Jefferson was not equipped to handle such locks and suggested I find someone who specializes in them. I asked the technician how much I owed for his return trip and he said “nothing”…and he steadfastly refused to take any money at all! I strongly recommend Jefferson Locksmith Company!!

Sam the locksmith was great! He came out quickly, communicated well regarding the appointment, and not only fixed the lock but showed me how to navigate the electronic lock. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

I got locked out at 8 am on a Saturday and the team was very quick in their response, Steve came out and helped me, it cost me $330 which phew but the service totally deserved it. Steve was extremely helpful, quick and amazing in his responses. highly recommended to not lock yourself out but if you do, call them up!

Steve was able to come on very short notice to fix the front door lock, which was not opening or locking from the outside. He was able to identify the issue and repair it in less than 30 minutes. He also aligned the lock better for easier locking. Thank you!!!

Kevin came out today to help me replace my faulty smart lock. He was very thorough and walked me through each step. He was able to finish quickly but did not leave until he was 100% sure that everything was working as it should. I would definitely call again

Have dealt with many different locksmiths. Sam was definitely very professional, easy to work with, took the time to listen and to explain things that I had difficulty with such as safety locks and bolts that were difficult to use because the door was not correctly hung. Even though my request was for one job, I added many different things along the way, and he followed through on all of it. Because he ran out of time the first day, he came back a second day to do the rest of the work. I highly recommend him and this service. Very professional, courteous, and easy to work with. As a female, was alone with him in an empty house, and felt very safe! You may laugh, but this is an important detail. Again, could not recommend him higher .

Steve was superb. Timely, efficient, well mannered and well priced. He even had a replacement for the portion of the lock I had ‘destroyed’ in my failed attempt at DIY Locksmith! For the install of a new deadbolt and bottom lock for my exterior door, I could not have made a better choice than Jefferson Locksmith.

Steve was amazing. He was so nice and friendly and efficient. He had us test the lock to make sure everything worked correctly. He went above and beyond, even helping us with a few other lock issues we’d been having. Very affordable. I recommend them 1000%. Vitali was a huge help re-keying and replacing locks at our home. He explained our options and the cost and was very quick to arrive and complete the work. He went above and beyond changing the locks and worked to actually improve the functionality of the doors on our home. When one of the locks wasn’t working smoothly a few days later he came back very quickly to fix it free of charge. We would definitely recommend using Jefferson Lock.

Steve is out of this world!!! His kindness, professionalism, organization, attention to detail and timeliness are OUTSTANDING!!! He is SO knowledgeable. He talked me through the pins inside the lock and changed out every single lock for our home. He is funny and really nice to work with! I wish he did everything so we could have him here again. He is super detail oriented, doesn’t upsell and price was really fair. While we called for locks, he also fixed our door that was a bit stiff and he also helped us program our garage code!
