Great service, guys are polite, respectful, they take their time to explain and help you get a good deal, or even guide you to provide with the items you want to install and they do the installation. I really recommend the place, did a multimedia screen upgrade on a 2010 ford f-150. Really happy with the results. I’ll definitely come back if I need something.

Got a remote start put on my maxima and could not be anymore happier the service was great they did it in a couple hours and the prices they offer you can't beat i would definitely be recommending them to all my family and friends

Whoever is reading this post DO NOT use the service at this place theirs prices are the same as at the car dealer, simple reprogramming the remote qhich included starter lock and ulock the door they charge me 65 dollars same as toyota dealer price on top of it they didn't reprogram the remote properly, they did just the starter I can't luck or unlock the doors through the remote which that was included in the remote. DO NOT belive them that for simple things car dealer will charge you a lot of money NOT TRUE I have been told for reprogramming remote at the dealer will cost me 2 to 3 hundred dollars, after they were done with uncomplicated work on my remote I did confront the owner that they charge me same money as the car dealer he said no car dealer will charge you more dont get fool by those people, go to dealer first compeir the prices

skilled labor isn’t cheap and cheap labor isn’t skilled. support a family-owned business who stands by their work and offers a guarantee. they did a great job installing 4 speakers and a small sub in my truck. the grin on my face as i was driving away: priceless.

My monitor and charging port stopped working. After resetting through the pinhole and turning my car on and off several times over 2 hours, I went to Kia which quoted me $200 just to diagnose. Since I'm obviously not paying that, I took it to Lincolnwood Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they took a look, and recommended me to the mechanic across the street. They tested the fuse which seemed to be fine, told me that it must be the car radio, and recommended to go to this place. The guy there explained the cost it would be to order/install a JVC kit, but offered to first diagnose for $45. I took that deal and he was able to get my monitor working again! He also let me use the restroom which was awesome of them. As a 22 year old woman, I'm often worried I'll get scammed at car shops but I felt totally comfortable here. Will definitely return if this problem occurs again and highly recommend!

The Sound Barrier did a great job installing mt new Sony Audio System that I bought at Crutchfield. Easy to deal with and completed the job in about two hours after I walked in. They know what they're doing here.

I needed a new car stereo for my Lexus , and Auto Sound Barrier got me hooked up with a new stereo. Installed right away. Senan, also helped me with a non related alternator issue with my car, and got me off running so I could get to my mechanic right away. I would leave 6 stars if I could. Highly recommended! We had a strange, pesky electrical problem on an old car that no one else wanted to deal with, and he was very willing to try to figure it out and troubleshoot. From the start, Senan was straightforward in his assessment and offered specific guidance on how to move forward and what OEM parts to buy on EBay so he could install them. In addition, I found him to be very fair and honest, and committed to helping us resolve the issue. He really went the extra mile, and he did ultimately solve it! This is a great family business — I’m really glad I found them and highly recommend them.

i went here 3 weeks ago with Scion i dont know if i spelled his name correctly but excellent person to talk to. i put a alarm with remote start the COMPUSTAR 9900 most expensive alarm he had and i love it for my honda CRV am going again for my wifes hyundai same 9900 series. very polite and honest old school person. my car is old and i wanted an alarm vs best buy or others that said we cant do it. thank you.

Highly recommend this shop!!! I called this morning for options and pricing for a remote starter for my car. Everything was explained clearly and pricing was very fair. I dropped the car off at noon and got a call at 1:30 that it was ready! When we picked the car up, they took the time to show us how everything worked and set up the related app on our smartphone. They stand behind their work and invited us to reach out of we had any questions or problems going forward. Went here with my wife last week for a Subaru audio and multimedia system. These guys gave me the best type with a great price for it. They took out the old one and placed a brand new one. Took only an hour. I will go back to these guys any day.

Went here to install a new carplay for my hyundia elentra 2016. My car did have a little problem with the new camera i brought in, but the worker was so nice and just gave me a free one, no charge. I also did have some doubt on the carplay I brought to be installed, but they figured it out. Highly recommend this spot.

Brought my van to fix/replace a poorly installed rear assist camera. After explaining what I was looking for, the gentleman gave me some options, and provided me with information on what/why these options are what would be best. I was informed it would take 3 hours for completion, I received a call after 2 hours that my van was ready. After two days, I am extremely happy with the system he recommended, easy to navigate and to set up was under five minutes.

The owner told me what wouldn't work for my vehicle due to the fiber optics in the system, he could install a new head back but I wouldn't be satisfied with the outcome. I came back to pick his brain about just a powered sub and he said that would work. The highs are like Michael Jackson kicked in the balls, the lows are like being 10' feet from a speaker at Metallica. Installed today and the system kicks with no trunk thumping, very experienced install, high quality material used and right on time. North of Lawrence Ave they are the best based on reviews and personal experience. Thank you.

Had them install a new bluetooth radio in my Impala, they installed a module so I could keep my factory Amp, I was so happy with how it came out that I had them put the same radio in my Camaro, they told me 2 hours and had it done in half an hour, both times there was no wait,I highly recommend.

Best work in Chicago hands down. I have been coming to these guys for close to a decade. I have gotten everything done from them from a new 12 inch android tablet installed, single Din radios, speakers, subs, custom boxes, tints, they have made my car extra keys there, and also installed LED lights. Recently a friend of mines bought a Dodge/Jeep, and had a kill switch installed from there, after the high rate of car thefts in Chicago. These guys are the best, and a staple to the community.

I took my car there this past February to complete an Uber inspection. The service was fast, efficient and thorough. If you go during lunch time there is a hot dog stand right there for a quick bite as well.

Swapped my factory radio for an aftermarket head unit (Alpine) on my 2015 Ford Fusion. Great job, retained all my factory features, steering wheel, camera, sync...The people here are really reliable. Best prices around and good quality work. Really affordable equipment but they can get you top of the line product. Seems like they're not in it just for the money. I give it a total thumbs up!
