The team at George’s is honest, caring, and always takes the time to explain what is actually needed instead of pushing unnecessary work. These guys are great and so nice! I got a flat tire after struggling for some time I realized I was not strong enough to get the bolts off to put my doughnut on. I was right across the street from George’s so I called the shop and even though they aren’t a tire place they immediately offered to help me change my tire and told me to come on over. I’m so grateful to these guys!!

I had an absolutely outstanding experience at this shop today. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with professionalism, honesty, and genuine care. They took the time to really listen to the issues I was having, explained everything clearly, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured. The work they did was excellent, and the difference in how my car drives now is night and day. They finished the job faster than I expected, and the level of customer service was way above what you usually get at most auto shops.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation, came out as a customer for life! Owner is kind and hospitable, and as a woman I felt very safe coming here to get work done on my car. Will surely come back if my car needs anything done

Amazing service. I called last minute and needed my battery replaced because my car wouldn’t start. Khadir had me in and out with a new battery within 15 minutes.

Khadir and his crew blew it out of the water!! They diagnosed my car, got me parts the same day (when the dealer was 5 days out and was pricier), and the repair was finished before 4:00 PM. Had my car break down while I was in the area from Michigan. Despite them closing at 3:00, George assured me that as long as I got it towed to them by 1:00, he would stay and work on it so we could get home. He was friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and cared about us getting home safely. Closing at 3:00 on a busy Saturday, he was the only shop that would’ve been able to help without having to wait until Monday! Thank you George!

After getting an expensive quote from another repair shop for suspension work, I called George’s and was given a much lower estimate. I brought my car in the next morning and Khadir and his team took care of me right away. I was able to pick up my car that afternoon and now it is driving like a dream with no noise on uneven roads. Just this past week, he fixed both my car and my wife’s car in a single day, and when I came back the next day needing a new catalytic converter (after mine was stolen), he didn’t hesitate — had it installed that same day. On top of that, he even had candy waiting for our little one. It’s those thoughtful touches and unmatched service that keep us coming back. We love George’s and won’t take our cars anywhere else!

I took my car in to get my AC compressor replaced and to get some grinding under my car checked out. The team took a look at what was going on and I needed a ton of work done. The team at George’s got my car done in less than a day, despite the ton of surprises going on with my car. Absolutely 100% recommend George’s if you want a thorough job done for an amazing price along with amazing service!

Absolutely amazing team at George’s Auto Repair. Khadir was wonderful working with. Very excellent work and great explanations. He helped out me and my husband over the last few months with some engine issues. The car runs like a beauty now. Can’t thank them enough for their hard work!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have brought every single car I’ve owned here since 2018, and every single time Khadir and the entire team have gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service at fair prices. As someone who knows nothing about car repair, he is incredibly transparent about what needs to be done, the associated costs, and anything that I don’t need to fix now but may consider fixing in the future. If I could give this place 500 stars I would.

This place has turned into my one stop shop. I first found them when I was having problems with my valve cover and one of my cylinders and I’ve been going to them over since for everything. I’ve gotta collision thing that I’m gonna be taking to them and something with my seatbelt, as well as pretty much everything else that comes up to be honest. I’m gonna be moving across the city and even then I don’t plan to even look for another shop and I’m gonna sending anyone who’s having problems their way. The guys working there are kind and friendly and Khadir has been so accommodating and communicative and most of all fair with pricing. If you’ve got a problem give them a call and you’ll see

Took my '09 Corolla to George's Automotive Repair for a brake job and oil change—ran me about $320. The crew was super friendly and explained everything clearly. They got me in and out same day, which was clutch. Only knock is the waiting area could use some sprucing up. But if you're in Avondale and need honest, no-BS service, George's is a solid bet.

I have used George's Automotive as my only mechanic for our old Honda Odyssey for a couple of years now. Over time, they have installed a new catalytic converter, fixed issues with the ignition, replaced failing engine mounts, fixed the A/C, and overhauled the exhaust system to make sure that it could pass inspection. Every time the price has been fair, and the service amazing. I can drop off the car in the morning, and they will have it fixed so that I can pick it up again in the afternoon, unless it requires special order parts. Would highly recommend George's for their excellent service and fair prices!

I had a collision with my car and George’s Automotive did an amazing job with my car!! The damage was really bad because my fender was smashed in and my rearview mirror fell off. My bumper also had a lot of damage and they made it look brand new. I appreciate the transparency when it comes to purchasing parts. Khadir really tried to work with my budget because I had liability. 10/10 would recommend.

I had the most wonderful experience at George’s. I can absolutely say that this is one of the most honest and trustworthy mechanics I’ve ever encountered, especially in the city. As someone who’s totally clueless when it comes to cars, they very easily could’ve charged me an arm and a leg for this repair, but instead he went out of his way to give me a great deal. I can’t recommend this place enough they’re all so kind and generous, suffice to say I’ll never take my car to be repaired anywhere else!

Khadir went above and beyond. He took an interest in my project and worked with me through the process. It looks like a brand new truck that exceeds expectations. Not only was he a man of his word and quoted a fair price, but he's also looked out for me with things beyond his shop and future needs. Very happy I found him as my go-to mechanic and hype man.

I second C Laurent's review, Khadir is the only guy I trust with my car repairs. Started out with an oil change last summer, then a second oil change, and today I had my axyl replaced, pretty much needed a new front suspension. New front right axyl, front struts, and stabilizer links on both sides, lifetime warranty plus a little oil - all for $1200. It drives like new, and I feel very confident I'll be going back for my rear suspension. Very dependable, and lets you know everything. Quality job.

Went in to get an oil change, Khardir took the time to get to know me and my car and help identify some issues and diagnosis some problems I had a feeling about. He had my fluids topped off and even rotated my tires since my front tires were pretty worn out. I prefer the service here to big names because they take every new client personally and that is the type of relationship you want with someone who is helping you keep your car running. Will be back again post-holiday to start fixing problem areas and prolong my Jeep.
