I had such a compassionate experience with the staff on Monday morning at the facility on 71st & Stoney Island they were very attentive to my needs and got the job done. I really appreciate a staff that makes sure the customer leaves out happy and pleased. And today’s service was over and beyond. The Gentleman put the battery in my car I bought. I want to compliment the store manager Sha. Her entire staff to include Memo who recently assisted me with making the right selection for winter wiper blades and he even put them on my vehicle. Leo is another great employee who also exhibits a wonderful professional attitude. The amazing thing about Ahandra "Sha" always has a positive response regarding parts and service....she never changes and always has a smile and salutation. Shea & Leo are the best! Shea was sorting through some items that were going to be discarded and decided to bless me with a windshield wiper! She also recommended a really good wiper for the other side! Leo got my email all updated and was super kind and pleasant! Appreciate them both! & shout/out to Henry for working on my vehicle on his off day! The whole team is amazing ??

I wish I could give 0 stars. Got a free diagnostic reading here, but it was inaccurate. I truly feel like it was purposely done by the employee and he knew that machine was broke or faulty. I ended up spending $600 on a repair that wasn’t the real problem. Came to get another reading just to prove a point and instead of it being the starter like he told me it was indeed my battery that costed me another 300$. When confronted he just stood there staring and struggling his linebacker size shoulders with his morning breakfast still in his shirt. Be careful! Do not rely on their reading and double-check with a mechanic.”

Henry is the best! He went above and beyond to help me, and that really goes a long way in this community. We need more people like him. I truly appreciate you, Henry thank you so much! From now on, if I need anything for my car, I’ll always be coming to Advance Auto because of the excellent service Henry provided.

Guillermo greeted us when we came in. He was very helpful with us getting brakes and pads. He had to do a visual and found the pads we need. I am glad I came to Advance on 71st in Chicago

A older lady with blue hair she was about like 45 years old was very rude didn't help at all she started cursing at us about the facts that the light bulb that there systems suggested that I purchased was wrong but instead of helping me reorder a new piece she told us she wasn't going to help us with our reordering with the shipping cost only the refund for the part ? Honestly why should I have to pay extra if we both looked it up and came up with a conclusion there about the bulb the first I ordered it. In the guy I spoke with wasn't there and she was speaking for him as if she was there that day. Very unprofessional should be fired . Be aware very unfriendly in do not work with you.

** late response from 2019, but I see they still suck** This morning I decided to drive to a nearby Advanced Auto Parts location, before I went online to your website & to get a deal on a few items a needed. I found a 25% off discount offer going on & wanted to order the items I selected. The online site said one of my items were out of stock, but I was inside the store actually holding the item. So I took the item (a 2-ton hydraulic jack kit that came with two jack stands), along with my other item to the counter. I explained to the cashier (a young lady), that I wasn’t able to order the item online because it says it’s out of stock. I went on to show her the Exact same online item & asked her can I purchase the item & get the online pricing, since i wasn’t able to order it. She stated that she can’t match their online pricing. I asked why not, & is it because you’re not a manager? She stated she was the manager & that she can’t match their OWN online pricing!! I then stated, “so i’m going to have to go online & pick a further location, when you have EXACTLY what I need right here at this location?” She replied yes!! I said this is absolutely crazy & walked out!!!! I didn’t get her name, but I do have the location, date, & time of my visit. It was earlier today 2/24/2019 between 10am - 10:30am, at your 7118 S. Stony Island ave, Chicago, IL, store # 7536 location. So who ever the female store manager that was on duty that day, needs more training on customer service & price matching policies. Please explain how a large auto parts chain can “price match” competitors pricing, but not even their OWN? I am very disappointed that I wasn’t able to take advantage of the ONLINE EMAIL OFFER that I received from you guys.

Today I went into this establishment and the customer service received was at an all-time low. My heart is saddened as too often we go into a business supporting African Americans and the reps feel it's okay to disrespect the customers. Moreover, the female I spoke with today was very disrespectful and unwelcoming. I pray as humans we can learn to love ourselves so we can show love and respect to others we encounter. Praying for our nation.
