I would give this place one star if possible. Went in to get my window fixed with a company work van and was having a great experience until the end.
Someone working on the van stole a tool battery from the front of my vehicle. When I told them at the desk they were no help at all. They said it's not their responsibility. Do not take your vehicle here, they hire thieves and don't care about your personal property. Worst experience ever.
Twice now Fernandez's has been able to save my skin when my car was broken into. I was able to call in, they had the glass available, and they even got me in the same day. I'm very grateful for Fernandez's and I do recommend them!
These guys are amazing! They got me in the day I called and had the window repair done in less than an hour. That’s not even the best part. They charged 1/3 of what Safelite would have charged me. Job well done!
There are crazy noises coming from it, and it's moving up and down very slowly. If I had paid $50 more, I would have had it done at the original dealer, and a perfectly compatible window would have been installed without any problems, but unfortunately, this company installs incompatible windows. They installed aftermarket windows that are incompatible with my car; they close very slowly compared to the other three windows. I wish I had paid the extra $50 and had the original Toyota windows installed. I came here to save $50, but I regret it. I'm going to go to the original Toyota dealership.
They were great to work with! Dealing with a smashed in car window after an attempted break in, I called in the morning and they said to bring my car by at any time. Their Saturday hours meant I didn’t have to take time off work and the window was replaced in under 2 hours. They also vacuumed up all the glass bits for me. Their pricing was very reasonable and I highly recommend them!
They were able to get my vehicle right in in the middle of a snow storm and it only took them an hour to fix. They vacuumed up the glass and were $100 cheaper than others in the area. I would highly recommend this shop!

i called them the morning (this morning in fact!) i found out the passenger window on my car got smashed. they said i could bring it in right away - it was good as new within 3 hours and i could still make it to work in the afternoon. so fast and friendly, and the kitty at the front is adorable too! :) highly recommend, and on top of all that, it cost me not even 1/4 of what insurance wanted for the repair
Someone broke into several carports in our building, and both my fiancé’s and my cars had their windows smashed. Fernandez had replacement windows on hand and repaired both cars within an hour — at about half the price of any competitor in the city. They were fantastic!
Excellent experience. They replaced my driver’s side window in just over an hour, kept me updated, and cleaned up all the glass. Fair price, friendly staff, and the window looks/works like new. The staff was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
Pablo and the guys on staff did a great job replacing my window after someone broke into my car the night before. They did it same day, less than an hour and even got me a window that had similar tint for a good price

I called Fernandes Auto Glass, and they answered the phone promptly, providing me with an estimate for my glass replacement. I informed them that I would arrive at the shop at 8:30 AM when they opened. When I got there, they were already open.
The shop could use a thorough cleaning and a fresh coat of paint inside and out, including the bathroom, and new signs should be installed. However, the area in the back where they work was fairly clean, except for some pieces of glass on the floor near my car that should not have been there.
They worked on my car for nearly three hours, and the total bill came to $414.60, which is significantly less than the $650 quoted by a competitor. The new glass installation looks very well done, and the glass appears clearer than the original. When I called back to inquire about this, the shop informed me that this is the only option they have for glass.
So aside from the look of the shop that needs some maintenance, Fernandez is the best place to take your car for window replacement.

One of if not the best auto repair/body shop in Chicago! I’ve been here twice now. If you care about affordability, don’t waste your time getting estimates elsewhere, this is the place. I had work done here that costed only $130 whereas other places in the city quoted me $400, $800 and even $1,000. I will never go elsewhere for my vehicle needs.
Just had a great experience here! Called ahead and made sure they had the glass I needed. After I arrived everyone was friendly and my car was fixed in an hour! Extremely fair pricing too, almost $200 cheaper than Safelite! 10/10 highly recommend
My rear window was broken into in a downtown Chicago parking garage last night. I called multiple shops, including most of the major glass companies in the city — every one quoted me $600+ and said they couldn’t fit me in for at least a week. Obviously, I couldn’t wait that long without being able to see out my rear window.
A friend recommended Fernandez Auto Glass, and I’m so glad they did. I called, and they had the glass in the same day and installed it for nearly half the cost of the big guys. This shop is run by a husband-and-wife team, by no means a fancy shop with all the bells and wistles the big brands have but proof that buying local often means better service and better prices than the big, private-equity-backed chains.
They were friendly, fast, and honest. I’ll 100% be recommending Fernandez Auto Glass to anyone who has a glass issue in the future.
I had SUCH a great experience here! My car was broken into and one of my windows was shattered. I got a quote through Safelite for $350 for a replacement and they were booked a week out. I called Fernandez and got my window replaced for $150 on the same day in less than an hour! The receptionist was super friendly as well. Would highly reccommend!

If you are looking to repair glass in your car, this is the place to go! Amazing service from all the team. I took my 2024 VW Atlas there and they changed within 24 hours and work easily & directly with the car insurance company. On the other side the VW Dealership was a total nightmare to work with. Fernandez auto-glass it’s truly the best and absolutely recommended.
I highly recommend them. Had someone break my passenger’s side window overnight. Called them to confirm if they had a replacement. Went in same day. They don’t make appointments but I was in and out in about 1.5 hours total. Their prices are way lower than the competitors who advertise on tv. The quote I got from Fernandez was $180 cheaper. Cannot recommend them enough. I hope I don’t need their services again but if anything happens, I am only going to Fernandez Auto Glass!

Went To Get My Window Fix Since My Wife Locked The Keys In The Car And The Pizza We Brought So The Kids Where Hungry Had No Chose To Brake Back Door Window Came Here They Took My Car In Fast About 1hr Later Car Was Ready And Very Affordable Prices Since They Have Used Or New Windows. They Also Do Mirror Replacement And Door Handles As Well.
Great service, reasonable pricing, very nice staff!!!! Super pleased with my experience. Windshield replacement with new glass was $160, passengers side front window replacement with new glass was $125...$306 total after tax. They vacuumed out my car and even reset my mirror for me :)
