I brought my 2015 Hyundai in last week for a new catalytic converter, spark plug and oil change, and they also ended up needing to put on a new drive belt. Their invoicing system is smooth and works with not only bank cards, but also Affirm and Klarna which saved my bank account. Over the last week I had some concerns about some rattling and a smell, and they gladly took another look at their work free of charge. They were very accommodating to my concerns and professional and personable even though it turned out to be nothing. This is definitely a clean and well organized shop and business.
Called them after the brakes went out on the company van. They were able to get me in the shop very quickly and replaced both front brakes and get me on my way. Quick, professional and very knowledgeable. If I have issues in Chicago again I will be going to them.

I went to VMB Motors to get a loose left underbody mud flap checked for my Integra. There was a wait, so I dropped off my car. After about an hour, I had an emergency and needed the car back, so I called to check the status. Even though they hadn’t looked at it yet, when I arrived, the front attendant told me they had already fixed it—and didn’t charge me anything.
Truly impressed by their honesty, efficiency, and customer-first attitude. Thank you, VMB Motors, for the awesome gesture and great service. Highly recommend!
Got a screw in my rear tire and was in a hurry to go to the airport to pick up my daughter. Was at the Circle K and thought I’d try VMB. Was glad I did-they were nice, fast and plugged my tire for free (I tipped the tech)! In and out quickly and bonus-the facility is clean and the waiting room much nicer than most Indy car repair companies. I’ll be going back there for service based on my experience.
This place is great. Their people are very friendly and they patched the nail in my tire so quick I barely had time to finish breakfast across the street before they called me for pick up.
I will definitely be coming here in the future.

I was about to sell my car because the dealership told me I would need a new engine, with little to no explanation. The gentlemen at VMB took great care of my car. They were professional and knowledgeable. They told me what was wrong, how they could fix it and gave me a fair estimate for the repairs. They work fast too, barely had time to miss my car.

Spent $600 to fix a check engine light. Check engine light went back on extremely quick after work was completed.
Additionally they still billed a fairly heavy diagnostic fee even though you do the work with them.
Came here this morning after school drop offs cause I had a screw in my tire and was sure that it was going to lead to a flat. I pulled right in and they checked it out within 10-minutes. Turns out the screw wasn't deep enough to puncture the tube. No charge. Just quick and friendly service and a new trusted "go to" the next time I have car problems.
Took my car in because the tire light was on. They looked at my car immediately, were very friendly, and made sure all tires were fine. Excellent service! I will definitely go back when I need my car serviced!

Who ever works for the City walking around giving disabled Veterans tickets for having their front license plate on full display on the dash board but not officially screwed in to the front bumper.....VMB and I give you two thumbs up where the sun don't shine.........and ..........a fully mounted, brackets in place, affixed, perfectly centered and aligned front license plate!

I’ve been coming to VMB Auto for years and I’ve never met someone who worked there that I didn’t like. I took my car in today for an oil change and a tire check because my tire had gone low on air recently. They found a nail and repaired it for free with my visit. I really appreciated that! Side note: I also really appreciate the convenience of the “SCAN ME” barcode to review on my receipt envelope. Makes the process much easier to make a review!

Came in with a nail in one of my back tires. They told me they’ll remove and patch it up for no cost. Great service! Have also got my oil changed here. Price was very reasonable and was done very quickly

Absolutely amazing service. I ended up stranded in Chicago on a holiday weekend after my tire ripped. They were willing to walk very far down the road to inspect my tire, se if they had it, and they replaced it in under an hour. Phenomenal service. I would highly recommend that if you need anything, you come here. Their customer service is incredible.

I needed to pass an emissions test and my car needed 2 catalytic converters and 2 rear oxygen sensors. Danny did an amazing job repairing my car and fixed a botched job I had done in a different garage a few years ago. He raised the car and showed me his impressive work, replacing the pipes and properly installing the parts. I dealt with Jason on the phone and he was very helpful explains the issues and coordinating a pick up before the shop closed. Highly recommended!

I live next to Velasquez auto care on Belmont, and when I told them my brake fluid was low, they referred me VMB. I live in the neighborhood and drive by here every day on my way to work, but I have never came in for service; however, based on my experience, I will be back. It turns out that I didn't need anything in regards to my brakes other than the fluid, so I had them do a tire rotation which I knew I did need based on my driving. The estimate was conveniently sent via text for my approval, topping off all my fluids was complimentary, and they gave me a discount on the rotation from the price I was originally quoted. Presumably this is because I was a first time customer, or perhaps it was something else; either way, I'm grateful. Also, the service manager, D'armani, was super friendly, and so was the service technician. Both were knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly. Lastly, even though I walked back to my house while they worked on my car, their waiting area is pleasant and clean. Kindness matters, and I found that here!! Thanks VMB!!🚙🙌💥
