This review will go away when they process the paperwork so we can get a license plate. Ignoring our emails and having no one available when we drive over an hour to sort it out is unacceptable.
BUYER BEWARE! Run, don't walk away from this company. Went to Lincolnwood Toyota with my niece for a car she wanted. They run the old high pressure model from two decades ago, salesperson, sales manager, finance manager. They brought us a sales sheet and included warranties that we didn't ask for and were never mentioned. We had them remove them and agreed to the sale. Then they told her they wouldn't sell her the car until she gave them a 5-star review. They also said she couldn't use her financing because they couldn't produce a bill of sale for the bank due to the CDK malware. Then they used the old someone else is here to buy the car you want. They had her in tears. We figured fine we would just refi when we got home. She signed papers, including a bill of sale, and we went home with no paperwork in hand. When the bank they used sent her the loan agreement and we were shocked. We went 2 hours back to the dealership, since they don't return calls, to get all the paperwork and found they had overcharged for taxes, added an undisclosed 3rd party $165 fee to register the car, and added a $2400 warranty. We went over the issues, and they said the state would refund the overpayment for taxes and they would cancel the warranty. My niece called the warranty company three weeks after signing paperwork to cancel and they said they had no record of her or the car and that she had no coverage. We are now at the 30-day mark and the dealership still hasn't made this right.
Wanted to share an overwhelmingly positive review of Martize Dellinger of Leader Automative Group. Martize gave us a great price on our trade in car after getting a Kelley Blue Book quote online. Martize was kind, efficient, answered questions, and even drove me home after we made the sale official. I can’t recommend Martize enough and I’m glad that our paths crossed while our family figured out how best to sell our car. Thanks Martize! You are a rock star!
BEWARE OF NORTH CITY HONDA, ESPECIALLY THE FINANCE DEPT. I bought a car from them in November of 2023, at first, I thought I had a good experience, with Juwaun. But then, when I went to sign the paperwork with Luis, somehow about $9,000 got added to the total I agreed upon. I was very upset & had written a bad review, here. I was contacted by customer service, Dominic. He & Juwaun asked me to come back in & refinance, they also asked me to take down the review. Luis filled out the cancellation form for the add-ons I didn't want, signed it & gave me a copy, which I have along with the agreement stating the price/services I agreed to, originally. He told me the adjusted amount of my loan might not be appear on my loan account until March. It is May & he the dealership are gaslighting me. I have not attempted to use any of the services that were added, that I did not want. I'm pursuing all the avenues of recourse I can, but DO NOT TRUST THEM.
I wanted to sell my car and I talked to Maria and she was very helpful and made the process easy,her professionalism and customer service was outstanding,if anyone is looking to sell a car definitely reach out. 10/10

One of the employees driving a white SUV on Sept 10th 2023 tried to run me and bike off the road twice. It was on a Sunday in Evanston along Central Street and the vehicle had Leader Automotive Group stickers and sales sheets posted all over it. the driver was a white man in his 30s with a female passenger around the same age yelling out the window about “how much money he made”. Both had dark hair. Psychotic behavior… running red lights, speeding and honking at bicyclists. Dealer license plate was DL 4511 AK. Came within about a foot of hitting me

Jim, I need to write this complement for the service manager at the Lincoln wood Leader Hyundai (Bobby Brown). I have had a bad experience after having my 2014 Hyundai Sonata towed into the dealership for the engine. After dealing with one of the service advisors, who had a poor customer service and follow up skills , which added to my aggravation and frustration after my engine failed. I had an open conversation, which became escalated during that time. Bobby came up to me and asked how may I help you? He listen to my story. And then said, how can I resolve the situation. This was not only the service I expected from a leader, but he was calm while I was frustrated, and he listened intently to my frustration before asking what he can do to make it, right. I can’t begin to tell you how this made me feel. I really appreciate him for giving me the opportunity to voice my concerns, so I wanted to write this to complement to recognize his professionalism and his superb customer service skills.
Erika was real nice and helped my gf purchase a car. I have bought a car from Tolu and honestly they both have gone above and beyond. The car had a bumper issue and Tolu personally took care of the problem.
Jordan at Hyundai of palatine was the sweetest, most diligent sales person ever. He made sure we were comfortable while we waited, offered us some of the complimentary coffee and water. The cashiers were super sweet too. Overall, I will always come back here thanks to Jordan!

On of the biggest Auto groups with many car to choose from! I saw a vehicle in one of the Palatine stores but I ended up buying a car that was transferred from an other location from the city at no extra cost.
Warning, do not purchase any vehicle's or even something from the vending machine. Poor customer service, rude employees. They will tell you what you want to hear and then do the complete opposite. Stay away. Buy somewhere else, buy private if you can
Did phone inquiry and application. Said they would call back in an hour. A week later finally called back after the car I was interested in had sold. I tried to re-engage only to get passive response at best. I have tried five different people. Nothing. Finally got a call after two weeks to confirm my loan had been approved. This dealership group is pretty pathetic across the board from my experience. Multiple people, no follow up... and I was READY to buy!!!
Terrible service department. Disorganized. Long waits. Understaffed. It's not even clear that the "certified toyota mechanics" know much about Toyota cars. You will get gouged as they find things to upcharge.
This is the king of "Bait & Switch" dealerships......No exaggeration! Be VERY careful. I was in the process of purchasing a new Audi, we had agreed on the list price of the car not once but twice on two separate occasions. I communicated that I was happy to place a deposit on the car. That's when it all changed. Long story short, after 3-4 days of chasing down answers, I NEVER received a call, text, or email to start the purchasing process. Sounds crazy right? It's 100% the truth. I challenge the dealership to respond to this review!
3 new unlicensed cars with the Leader group plates were racing down the Edens zigging in and out of lanes at dangerous speeds around noon today and got off the Touhy exit as the cars were being delivered to the Toyota of Lincolnwood.

I bought a BMW from the dealership in Lincolnwood, IL. The sales person Nicholas Wandtke was very knowledgeable and helpful. Amy Black did a great job processing the paperwork efficiently.
Advertised prices on cargurus.com for Leader Automotive Group do not include fees for “market value adjustment” or dealer applied services such as “exterior treatments” (buffing and waxing). A truck listed at $55,000 should be around $60,500 after taxes in Palatine. Out the door cost for this truck from Leader Automotive also included a $4,000 market adjustment fee, $2,000 for an exterior wax, and other fees totaling to $67,000 actual out the door cost. All fees that were not disclosed when calling to inquire about a vehicle here.
Bloomington-Normal location is horrible. Rude employees, serviced our car multiple times for the same issue and never did repair it. Claimed the manufacturer did not have a repair option which Subaru stated was not correct. They never followed through with promises made before purchase. Would never return here.

The world's worst dealership.we offered on a car the offer was accepted then the salesperson said my manager said no. Ibought a non electrical part was not told that special orders from the warehouse are not returnable so lost again. The worst dealership with the nastiest employee s. Go anywhere but there

This car dealer is terrible. I traveled 2 hours to look at a car. It was a bait and switch scam. They never had the car. The sales person never responded when I arrived. Because of the COVID lock down could not just walk in.
This car dealer is dishonest and everyone should avoid this place.
My sales reps name was Doug, and I am absolutely elated with my purchase. The time and care he took in helping me find exactly what I was looking for and needed in my vehicle was extraordinary. Very knowledgeable, and honest dealer. They went absolutely above and beyond. They definitely have a costumer for life now because I can’t see myself purchasing from another dealer.....
