This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
AWP TOWING & RECOVERY LLC in Chicago, IL earns a strong 96/100. Reviews consistently praise fast response (often minutes), professional drivers, careful handling (EVs, tight garages), and fair pricing. Communication is courteous and helpful, with smooth long-distance tows plus lockout/jump-start assists. Some feedback involves junk-car buys; one outlier cites inconsistent quotes and poor phone etiquette. Data appears mixed with another company, so details on inventory variety, yard organization, or ease of finding parts are unclear. Overall, reliable service and good value.

What clients say about AWP TOWING & RECOVERY LLC in Chicago (IL)
This's a 5 Star Towing company in my opinion when they tell you they are coming They Show Up, not 2 & a half hours later than the time they said they'd arrive their prices are reasonable best of all they are trust worthy. I kid you Not they were referred to me by another company I'd requested because his tow truck was way too big to come to my residence he referred AWP to me for that I'll always be grateful to both these companies if we've learned nothing else in the Government we live with Now 2026 the best of America is we All work together to make this a Stronger Nation it Works I promise you. UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL
I don’t. Usually post, but I have to let people know that there are still some good guys out here seriously, everything is not always about money the have good prices and good service you call them they coming out to get you . The driver was a blessing to me very much helpful
locked keys in my car in pouring rain called and came in about 10 minutes and opened up car in about less then a minute no bullshit fastest service ever. Reasonable price for the dumb mistake i made.
Towed me from my job at Burns Harbor to my home on the southeast side for a good reasonable price, was responsive, quick, and even got me a hot chocolate, 10/10 experience; I wouldn’t give my business to anyone else.
Mario and Alex both have helped me out countless times, fast and reliable would definitely recommend to to all friends and family. Great prices as well and very professional
Best price on tows in Chicago. He treated my car like it was his own.He was not only on time but early getting to my location.Plus he gave me the highest for a couple junks I had.
I would give more than five stars if it was allowed on Google! Cannot begin to tell you how wonderful this towing company is and how compassionate and helpful Alex was. Our vehicle broke down in a parking garage in downtown Chicago. they were able to get in to the garage as most companies said that their trucks were too big and would not be able to clear the ceiling. Once they dropped the car off to the mechanic for us, Alex was kind enough to take a photo and send it to us to show us at the car, made it safely to its destination. Very, very grateful for Alex and the young man that he came to help him. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who's in a pinch, especially in the Chicago area.
Mario was amazing. He came on time and it took him no time to hook up and drop. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thanks AWP. Great experience.
The service was quick and very professional! Left my car keys inside the car and they were able to open the vehicle in a matter of seconds. I was highly satisfied with the outcome!
They towed my Tesla. The tow truck guy was very helpful, friendly and knew what he was doing. He charged the Tesla up enough to get it to open the doors and charging port. It was cold, I sat his truck the entire time. It was a great experience, especially during a troublesome time.
AWP towing answered quickly and promptly gave an estimate that was reasonable and fair. The driver arrived at the house right away and was very professionally. Towed my vehicle to the desired location without incident. Will definitely use AWP again and highly recommend their business.
I needed an emergency tow and AWP came to my rescue. Super fast, efficient, reliable and professional service. I really like them and would highly recommend them to everyone.
Literally called because my car was stolen and found. They came expeditiously and towed my car to my home 45 minutes away with no issue at all. Would highly recommend their service 100%
10/10 recommend AWP Towing!! Not my first time getting my cars towed by them, but they’re work is always consistent, professional, and they’re knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable, especially since you won’t have to worry about your car being hooked up incorrectly or waiting hours. They get there within the time limit given & always pick up/drop off your vehicle carefully. AWP Towing is quick on their feet & got me back home fast to spend the rest of my birthday w/ the family, s/o to them!
I was nervous about getting my car towed outside of my, now expired, Triple A benefits, but this company was so quick and nice! First, they came very quickly and got my car to it's destination. Next, the man I spoke to offere me a lift and was very nice to talk to. I would defiitely recommend this company for towing!
I can't recommend this company highly enough. They were prompt, professional, incredibly efficient, and affordable. Not joking when I say that if they ever leave towing and recovery they could start consulting on professionalism and customer service. As a business owner myself, I always pay attention to customer service, and AWP is far and away the top tier I've ever dealt with, regardless of industry.
I called around to get prices for a jump, as my battery died over the night. AWP towing had the BEST price and they arrived within 20 minutes. The driver was a complete gentleman! It started raining hard as my stubborn battery refused to accept a productive charge. I became even more stressed as it seemed to get colder outside as the rain became more aggressive. But the driver didn't give up. Though my battery sucked the life out of his portable charging box, he recharged it and started again and again. After around 30 minutes, my tears became uncontrollable, as I'd almost given up hope. The calm and extremely patient driver tried one final time and voila!!! It worked!! My car came to life as my tears turned into happy tears! AWP Towing is the Most incredible, patient, productive, reasonable, dependable company in Chicago! God knew what he was doing when he led me to them! Hands down, they are the best! Simply an incredible company. Thank you sincerely!
Good morning! I had the pleasure of reaching out to AWP towing & recovery and their service is very good. The representative on the phone was very professional & understanding as well as respectful. Definitely made sure to let me know when the truck was coming and when the truck arrived. Alex the driver was great , communicated very well everything that was necessary and it was smooth the entire time. Thank you guys! especially during these critical times.
Very polite and professional. Arrived to me after less than 30 minutes to retrieve my car, stayed with me throughout the process! I appreciate their service. Highly recommended & will be using them for services in the future!
Absolutely great service! I got the help I needed in just under 30 minutes from calling. Mario and Alex were very polite the entire time and made sure I was home safe before they took off. They wasted no time and got me and my car where we needed to be. The cost was also not outrageous, will be recommending.
Outstanding service. Answered the call very quickly and arrived very quick. The best assistance I got. My car got stuck on a curve and they told me all the parts that I needed and took my car to my house. The guy was super nice and honest, tow truck was nice and warm. Really great price for a tow. THE BEST IN CHICAGO!! Always there when you need them.
The experience I had with this towing and recovery company was great. The price for getting your service done is very reasonable. They also arrived early which was very relieving. I highly recommend using this company and their great services!
AWP Towing provided me great and timely tow services. He (Alex) arrived on time as he promised in a fairly new and "clean" tow-truck. And more importantly, the towing fee was fair. I will definitely use this tow company again in the future, if needed. Very good customer service by AWP Towing & Recovery. I highly recommend !! Posted on behalf of AD HOC PROPERTY SERVICES LLC.
Used the tow service today for my lifted Tahoe. The guy was quick to respond to my area. He was very respectful and knew what he was doing. Towed my truck with ease to the location. Very helpful and at a great value. You can't go wrong with using this service.
Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly when he brought my car. Loved his Customer service. I’ll call him every time I need something for my car. He was making me feel better after what happened to me. He knew things and I didn’t even have to say much. He is very cute and respectable. I want to be with him but that’s another story. Thank you, Alex.
AWP is awesome! Just had two cars towed with them recently, driver arrived within 30mins of me calling him. He was very professional and the prices were very good, he was very helpful and understanding and wanted to make my life easier instead of harder. Will definitely be calling AWP for all my towing in the future!
