I’m not one at all one to leave reviews , but this place deserves it. I called early this morning in need of a new car battery, and not only did they get me in , but they were also the most affordable quote out of all the places I called. After they installed the battery , driving home I realized there was an issue with my radio screen. I drove back, and they were kind enough to figure out the issue, and fix it for me. All around a great place that I highly recommend!

I randomly found J&T when my car all of sudden stop running due to the alternator, & they gave me a reasonable price. I have been coming to this place ever since. I really appreciate Javier showing me & explaining the issues with my car.

I recently brought my car to this shop and couldn’t be happier with the experience. They were upfront and honest, clearly explaining the issue without trying to overwhelm me with unnecessary repairs like dealerships often do. They quickly identified and fixed the problem with my axle—something the dealer completely missed while trying to sell me on work I didn’t even need. My car drives so much better now, and their prices are very reasonable. The service was fast, professional, and trustworthy. From now on, this will be my go-to repair shop because I know I can rely on them to do the job right.
I first went here after at a catalytic converter replacement by another auto shop, and diagnostic assessment at Honda Service Center for a creaking/tapping noise. They informed me the original garage would need to remove the obstruction, because it resulted from their work. they also quoted me at about $2500 for various maintenance items that I wanted handled before a road trip. I went to J&T on family recommendation and they fixed the creaking/tapping noise immediately and did not charge me. they quoted me for the same work for $1300. I finally returned months later to do the work. very happy with it and will not go to honda service center again. they earn commissions on parts you do not necessarily need to replace, and javier was knowledgeable and probably the most helpful mechanic i have met. maribel is also wonderful for communicating everything clearly and staying in touch by text.
I have been using J and t for around 4 years, great work, VERY honest, they stand by their work. Even though I moved to the suburbs i still bring my car here and have recommended to my family

I’ve got work done on all my cars here- both foreign and American made. I have never been disappointed with the service, price or turn around. Sometimes I worry that car shops can be gimmicky, especially as a woman, but Jairo and his team never disappoint! I will never go anywhere else.

In every profession there are people who do the work to get it done or to get by; and people who are artisans, meaning, people who have a commitment to doing an excellent job because they love what they do, have a vocational approach to doing things, and couldn’t do the job otherwise. They like to do things well. This is the case of J&T Auto Repair. I have been to this shop 3 times now for a A/C blower repair, oil change, as well as for full break repair, axles and outer tie rods replacement, transmission full service and wheel alignment. I am satisfied with the work, the service, and their fees. They are fairly priced. I would recommend this shop hands down!

I had an excellent experience with J&T Auto Repair. They were able to look at my car right away, diagnose the problem and give me an estimate in less than a half hour. The repairs were completed quickly and the cost was very fair. Javier explained everything clearly and really cares about taking good care of customers.
I highly recommend this car repair business. I know nothing about cars. I called to see if they could help me and they instantly had me set-up with an appointment. Our family has taken our vehicles to J&T for several years for both routine maintenance and larger repairs. Javier and his team are friendly, and they have treated us kindly and with respect every time, without fail. We've never felt taken advantage of. Repairs have always been clearly described and reasonably priced. If a particular repair is not a necessity at the time of service, but something to keep an eye on, that's explained too. Having gone to auto shops for more than 30 years in Chicago, I have to say I've never been happier with the service than I am at J&T. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I'm so glad they're in the neighborhood.
Jarion and his wife and team were amazing! They were super helpful when I arrived with my damaged vehicle in clear distress. They provided me with a fair quote, estimated how long it would take (it was very quick, in under 2 hours) and gave me a complimentary water. I left a 20% tip and will definitely be back with future car issues. I can’t recommend this family owned business enough.

The guys that work here are super friendly and do a great job. I really liked bringing my car here and totally recommend them. The only thing is that they charge an extra fee if you're using a credit card. I ended up paying an additional $40ish just in credit card fees. This wasn't mentioned on my estimate or to me, so I didn't know, or else I would have brought cash to save me some money. They take Zelle, too, but if your Zelle is attached to a debit card like mine, it won't work. Anyway, they're great people.
J&T have been incredibly helpful and responsive! Super transparent with fair and affordable pricing, and always going the extra mile to get me back on the road while working within my budget. More often than not, when I’ve taken my car or truck in for service, it’s ready for pickup within 24 hours. Javier is a standup guy and I would 100% recommend J&T to anyone who needs their car worked on!
I never really write reviews, but I had brought my Hyundai Sonata in, and Javier and his team did a great and fast job in repairing my vehicles alternator and battery, and even went as far as to making a new battery cable since mine was melting. Its been months, and car is still going strong.
Javier and his crew put safety first, and that is greatly appreciated. Great communication, and fair pricing as well. I would recommend J&T Auto repair to everyone, you will not be disappointed.
