Had an issue with mounting a license plate to the bumper (bolts snapped). They too care of it for me while I waited. Great people who wanted to build the relationship not just charge my credit card.

I would highly recommend Gold Coast Auto Body especially if you have a Rivian. They are one of the few authorized auto body shop that can repair a Rivian. I especially appreciate the help of Francesca, Kate and Drew. They made working with my insurance seemless. Their constant communication with me on the status of the repair was super helpful. Eh. Everyone was nice, but they charged a lot and detailed my interior which the car really did not need. After the “detailing” a stain was left on the seat. Also the bumper clicks in and out… one side is looser than the other. None of this would be a big issue if it didn’t cost 850 out of pocket.

By far the best body shop in Chicago they stride for oem repairs and they do an amazing job at it. Ive been going here since I got my first car and nothing but excellence and quality repairs. In a city like chicago this is where you wanna get your car fixed to look like it did out the showroom

GCAB was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had with an auto body shop. They were extremely easy to work with, accommodated my drop off and pick up times and timing, which was not always during their business hours, charged a competitive price, and did a great job. On top of all of that, my car was a complete disaster inside. It practically looked new when I picked it up. Would definitely use them again, but hopefully don't have to. For an industry that's not always trustworthy or helpful, I found Mitch and his co-workers to be trustworthy and accommodating.

Had my car at Gold Coast Auto Body after an accident, and it was a great experience. They were Bert straightforward and took the time to explain all the damage, including what was likely hidden and what to expect when they started the work. The estimate was thorough, and I felt like I knew exactly what was going on—no surprises, which was great. They were also very helpful in navigating the insurance process (the car is a likely total). I didn't know where to start, and they just laid it all out, which seriously saved me a major headache. It's a great shop that does solid work and actually helps their customers. Definitely recommend them.

I just got my car back, and they exceeded all my expectations. My Audi is a shade of green and the paint and repairs look like they are brand new. There was a slight issue, and they jumped all over it and made sure we were 100% happy without arguing or anything. They did excellent work. Their initial estimate was a lot higher than my insurance company, and even though they weren't my insurance companies "preferred" supplier they worked with my adjuster without me getting involved. They went back and forth a few times, and the entire bill was covered without anymore out of pocket from me besides the deductible. Their communication is also top notch from the initial estimate to status updates on the car. I never felt like I didn't know what was going on. When they gave me a date on when they would follow up again they hit that, and they completed the car ahead of schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to everyone I know.

Scraped the side of my car, and partially popped the bumper out while I was coming in through a gate, and thought the fix would be expensive and time consuming. Gold Coast was recommended to me by my car dealer, so I came over, and Francesca and the team had my bumper back in place and a few scratches buffed out in literal minutes. So glad to have found them, will recommend this shop to everyone I know!

Gold Coast is truly a unique organization! Their communications and updates were precise and consistent throughout the repair process. They negotiated well with the insurance company on my behalf, and the neighbor Enterprise location gave me a free upgrade on a rental car based on their business with Gold Coast: very valuable and convenient (for pickup and return of the rental cars). My car was repaired with great excellence, it was computer-tested after repairs to make sure that all systems work per the manufacturer’s standards, at it was pristinely detailed before delivery. Not even at premium dealerships have I seen such quality, excellent customer service and just pleasant people to deal with. Keep up your excellent work!

In all honesty the reviews scared me a bit. My car was side-swiped and broken into within a week of ownership. I had to go somewhere and the suburbs were too far to drive in winter with a busted out window. I spoke with Tesla and they suggested going to Gold Coast. I'm extremely happy I did. Carlos is a special person and if you get the chance to work with him you'll be very happy you did. During the whole process he was kind, friendly, and most importantly very communicative. I tend to bombard people with questions and he handled them and my neurotic behavior like a champ. He's a stand-up guy and takes ownership of issues as they arise. No one will be a bigger advocate for your car than Carlos. The repair work itself was very good as to be expected from a Tesla certified establishment. I went back for a few minor things but it really wasn't a problem at all; more me than the work. Once again Carlos took care of me and made sure I left happy. Do not be dissuaded by the reviews here on Google; I do not believe they are indicative of the shop, the people here, or the work they do. Gold Coast cares about your car and they make sure the job is done to your satisfaction. Carlos deserves a raise!
