Great customer service. I was greeted by Kelly, who was very helpful and assisted me with maintenance on my Lincoln. The whole process was smooth I was in and out quickly. Highly recommend!

Adrian at PepBoys and the technician crew (Larry M) were all amazing! I came in needing a battery replaced and they got me in quickly, took care of the replacement successfully, and helped expedite the process to get me in to work when I had a time crunch. Definitely will be coming back - thank you for your help!

I made a 1 PM appointment to change the oil and filter and replace the brake pads. They took the car in and told me it would take 2 hours. After 2 hours, the car hadn’t even been brought into the bay to start the work. I basically wasted 2 hours of my time for nothing and ended up taking my car back and going to another shop. I do not recommend this service. You will waste a lot of time here, while another shop can complete the same work in about an hour. This is not a serious or professional approach to customers.

I came in on a Friday afternoon with a nail in my tire. They were able to assess the car within an hour and determine that it could not be patched and prices were reasonable for a new tire. Would definitely recommend!

I dropped my car off in November for 4 new tires. It was supposed to be a same day appointment, but they were busy so I left it overnight to pick up the next day. Call the next day asking when I can pick my car up and they said they’d let me know the next day by noon. I call the next day at noon after not hearing anything and they said they were still waiting on my tires! I couldn’t pick my car up until the next day and after all of this the only thing they could offer was a discount on my alignment which they couldn’t perform that day because their machine was down! It is now the end of February and there machine is still not fixed, so I had to go somewhere else for my alignment. I would NOT go there if you want great customer service or a timely service. I will not be back to any Pep Boys ever again.

My tech was very friendly and understanding of my need to get to work. My car was finished before I knew it and I was on my way. Will be coming in for tires soon and everything else I need in the future thanks to Adrian and this past experience.

Quick and friendly service! They were transparent and very helpful. Had me on my way in no time despite a full set of new tires and rotor replacement.

Had an appointment scheduled for new tires.. arrived 15 mins prior to appointment. After 2 hours my car was still parked outside. I decided to leave. Their machine is also not working for wheel alignment. If you value your time I would recommend another business. I am not exaggerating on the waiting time.

I’ve used this location several times and always get great service. Jorge at the desk as well as all the employees are very friendly and helpful. Manny worked on the car this time. I appreciate everything he did to solve the issue.

Adrian was wonderful and got me in last minute to help unscrew some stuck tire valve caps yesterday evening. Adrian and the tech (Mr. B Little) stayed late to make sure my tire valves were completed. Excellent customer service and work on my car from the tech. I am a returning customer as they always do an excellent job. Thank you!

This location rocks, always helpful, pleasant and informative! So thankful you can just walk in and still are able to get service for your car,---- that it's not pre scheduled appointment dependent....and on a Sunday too! Yay!!

I was not happy about the wait time and customer service. The waiting area is the typical bad chairs and no vending machines. No communication from the people there. They text you a link to monitor the process, but that never updated the 3 hours I was there. Worst part about these places you can't watch your car being worked on. I would feel better if I could watch people working on my car.

Service was good, prices were on the higher side, but worth it since they were able to mount my tires same day without appointment. We received a call that the vehicle was ready, but showed up and it was still worked on. Overall process was easy. If you need something done quickly, I would recommend.

I had previously gotten my tire replaced here and had no issues. I schedule an oil change and safety inspection. I was told my car needed a belt replaced but was otherwise in good condition, no lights on my dashboard and the battery health was 10. When I left, I noticed that lights on my dashboard were on, but I figured it might go away after driving. The very next day, less than 24 hours after my appointment and service, my car would start and then immediately die. This happened three times. I called the shop and they told me it sounded like a battery issue, which confused me, because the day before they said my battery was in good condition. I got another inspection, and this time my car came back with a long list of issues. I was confused on why none of these issues were noted in the inspection completed less than 24 hours ago. They told me I needed my battery replaced. I thought that was weird because my battery was replaced last year, but agreed, because having a car that does work means I can’t go to work. After I left, I noticed that my breaking felt funny. I am not comfortable to have my car worked on again here and upset with the quality of work done on my car. I would not recommend getting work done at this shop

Came from out of town to Chicago and few minutes from the downtown area, I got a flat. “Roadside assistance near me” brought up Pep Boys Auto Services & Tires, and what was about to be a ruin vacation weekend turned around so quickly. Despite a packed work schedule, their team was able to squeeze me in and get my car fixed in under 30mins. Adrian and Hector, you are my heroes! My gifts from Santa and all the road angels! I had a disappointing experience with this service station. On my first visit, I arrived about 50 minutes before closing and was refused an oil change, even though the service itself is routine and does not take long. The next day, I was offered an appointment with a stated duration of three hours. I came on time with a confirmed appointment, waited for 45 minutes, and my car was not even taken into service. To be fair, the staff at the front desk tried to be polite and courteous. However, this did not solve my problem and did nothing to save my time. What was especially frustrating is the complete lack of respect for customers’ time. As the person at the front desk explained, despite having an appointment, my car was still placed into the general queue. This makes the concept of an appointment meaningless and unclear. If appointments do not provide any priority or time assurance, there is no real reason to schedule one. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend this location to anyone who values their time and expects clear communication and reliable service.

I brought in my car for an inspection of my right tire. Edwin helped me through the process and was great! With his kindness and honesty I have my car as good as new within a few hours! Thank you Edwin! You were great help!!

This location is fairly busy, so prepare yourselves with extra time. They do a good job. But the CEO and upper management have to get with the program and develop an app to help speed up the process. Not sure they're aware it is the 21st century.

Went in for the manager special package (oil change, tire rotation, wiper blades). It took about 2.5 hours despite the scheduled appointment and there were some other minor inconveniences, but my main issue is that they didn't even rotate my tires. I had asked them to check out one of my tires as it was leaking air. On the inspection report, they noted that all tires were perfect and had psi to spec. As soon as I got my car back, the low pressure indicator was back on, saying it was the same exact tire, so they were never rotated or inspected at all. I can see that the wiper blades were installed at least but this makes me question if the oil change was even completed now. Overall the employees I talked to were very nice but the techs seem to take shortcuts and think customers won't notice.

Scam. Attempted to take advantage of female looking for help/info. Tried to quote my girlfriend $400+ to replace a HiD bulb and convince her it required intense work and eluded to other problems to try and charge more. Direct quotes from the techs and desk jockey - “these are really tricky and even the techs struggle to do HiD replacements…we’d need to remove the bumper… would require 1.3 hours of labor in addition to a $100+ bulb ASSUMING there’s no wiring issues” Lots of red flags. We ended up replacing the bulb with a $20 bulb we ordered online in ~15 min once we were home. Maybe we should give the technicians a lesson?

Beware the employees try and scam you and tell you work you don't need to get done. Always get a 2nd opinion. 1st visit I asked them to diagnose a noise that was going on. They tried saying I needed to replace my alternator. No error codes or anything to support their claim. Took my car to a mechanic and they actually read me the error code stating it was a simple o2 sensor that needed to be fixed. Not the $750 that Pep Boys claimed needed to be done. 2nd visit - I asked them to fix and only fix a flat. 3 hours later they did a full inspection on my car. It took them 4 hours with an alleged appointment to give the diagnosis. They told me I needed to repair the valvstem and new tire sensor. I told them its an old car I don't need a tire sensor. They tried convincing me that they couldn't do so. Tried charging me 175. I told them for that price I could just buy a new tire. They tried convincing me a few more times and gave up. They did not fix the flat. I took it back to my normal mechanic and he fixed it in less than an hour. Don't give these people a dime they are straight lying to every customer.

I always have a great experience here. They are never pushy. It’s very easy to make an appointment online and can pick out your tires. I bought 4 new tires this service. Jorge was great at drop off and Edwin was equally great at pick up. Bonus, last time my car needed an oil change and the dealer said I needed new tires. I brought my car here and they looked at the tires and let me know it wasn’t time. They aren’t trying to sell you things you don’t need. Waiting room is clean and nice. A very pleasant experience.

I had an appointment this morning to get my AC looked at, and this entire experience was an absolute waste of my time. My service is under warranty, so I did the responsible thing and called ahead to ask about the process. No one answered. I left a message that was never returned. When I arrived, the lobby was completely deserted. After wandering around, I finally found someone—only to be told I can’t be helped on weekends and must come during the week. I work 7–5, so that’s not even an option. If someone had simply picked up the phone or bothered to return my call, I wouldn’t have wasted an hour of my Saturday morning driving here and back for nothing. This shows a complete lack of respect for customers’ time and zero professionalism

Every shop I’ve been to, the communication has been the worst. Here, on the other hand, Jorge was fantastic. He communicates every single thing with me as well as the process. He’s even suggested/recommended some amazing things that would benefit me as well as be cost-efficient. I’d recommend finding Jorge. He’s the best. Great guy and is all about communication. Full transparency and honesty. Highly recommend.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Pep Boys while getting my oil change, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. I have been waiting for over two hours, and the lack of service is simply unacceptable. I expected a straightforward process, but it seems that the staff is either overwhelmed or not properly trained to handle basic services like an oil change. Communication has been poor; I haven't received any updates on the status of my vehicle, which only adds to my frustration. I cannot believe the level of service I have encountered here. I strongly advise against choosing Pep Boys for your automotive needs. There are many other places that value their customers and provide timely and efficient service. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I will not be returning. & THE BATHROOMS ARE SO DISGUSTING!!!!!

This store was inexplicably terrible. The service desk folks provided us with extremely inconsistent & false claims on expected timing. We dropped off our vehicle for a 12pm appointment and proceeded to visit every store in the area before returning to Pep Boys and waiting from 2:30pm to 7pm for our vehicle. All we needed was 4 tires replaced. Additionally, some idiot technician shaved my lugs nut circular using their impact driver. Store repeatedly told us to “wait 30 minutes” and we got virtually no recourse for the experience. I’ll never visit a PepBoys again and I highly advise anyone reading this to stay as far away as possible. Over the course of our 7 hours, I don’t think we saw one satisfied customer. Every single person was being given the runaround to cover up for the ineptitude of this franchise’s employees.

I have an Infiniti Ex 35 2010 I brought my own tires and did a wheel alignment front & back these guys are fantastic Jose was really good at communicating and taking care of me as a customer he’s great …. What a great service. !!
