We have been coming to Casey at Logan Auto Fix since January of 2022. Our friend Elena told us about this business and we started bringing the car here and never looked back. We have a 2005 Honda Accord and, mechanically, Casey and his team have kept this car in tip-top shape. Even if there is nothing evidently wrong we still want the car inspected at least once a year. Casey goes through the car with a fine tooth comb.
By the way, we have well over 200,000 miles on the car! But here was the real recent surprise - since the car was in such good shape mechanically we asked Casey if he thought that we should do the body work. His team did do the body work and we just picked it up today and it is beautiful. It hasn't looked this good since we picked it up new from the dealer.
So, let us just say that we found that Logan Auto Fix is the place to go for an honest and fair price; technical explanations of what is wrong with the car and how they will address it; great mechanical work; timely turn-around; superb body and paint work; advice on how to take care of the car and a friendly management and crew who stand by their customers.

My new favorite auto shop in the city! Screw the big chains, support small businesses! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I brought my car in on a whim to get some body touchups. They took my car within a couple days and finished the work in 1/2 day. No price gauging. Kasey completed the work and went above and beyond in well under what he quoted me. I was extremely impressed and very grateful. Will definitely be back!

Could not recommend them enough. Our car was broken into, resulting in damage to the ignition and they made a stressful situation way more manageable. Kind staff, great communication, out of this world customer service. Truly went above and beyond to make sure our car was back in perfect condition.
Great service. They did an awesome job at repairing my truck after my accident. It looked better than new. They were also able to replace my panoramic roof after it was shot out due to neighbors fighting. They cleaned my truck inside and out, even put Armour all on the tires. Upon arrival it looked like a brand new truck. Would definitely bring my vehicles here for any work needed. Will recommend to anyone needing work done.
LADIES: if you’re trying to find a shop that won’t try to scam you because you’re feminine, come to Logan Auto Fix! I showed up wearing a Juicy Couture tracksuit, a leopard fur coat and also holding Starbucks (I ran out of time to change before the appointment time) and I was happy when the staff simply changed my oil for a reasonable price and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I know I looked easy to manipulate, and I’m so happy that Logan Auto Fix has proven not to be opportunistic, so I’ll be returning for all other necessary maintenance in the future! They also have a sweet shop dog who is well-behaved and likes being pet. 11/10 experience, thank you Logan Auto Fix!
The owner is nice but this place does NOT deserve 5 stars. I took my car in because it was leaking oil. Turns out I accidentally installed 2 orings when I was changing it. Very dumb mistake but an incredibly easy fix. Cost $70 or so.
Months go by and I go to check my oil only to find its way over filled. Keep in mind my car leaks oil slowly regardless so that means it was massively over filled by the shop. I should have checked when I got the car but I trusted the 5 star review.
Whatever mistakes happen right? I take it back, no apology but they say they'll take oil out and it'll take a few hours. End of day no call from them, so I call. They say they'll check call me right back. Never got a call back. Came the next day and it was ready.
Checked the oil and guess what? Still way over filled. On top of that I had them check out my hood latch which they temporarily fixed but now after checking that problem is still there too.
Overall a very bad experience that showed me you cannot trust reviews on Google. It's one thing to be nice and have customers like you, but that isn't worth 5*s if you're delivering bad service.
Logan Auto Fix is amazing and has been my go to for a while! Casey and the rest of the crew always diagnose and fix my Volkswagen Jetta really fast and always use the best, longest lasting parts. They even show you the previous part and point out the issue and document with pictures. The quality of their work is unmatched. Their new POS system is amazing too; it automatically emails and texts you with the quotes and when the car is ready. It’s super convenient instead of constantly calling to figure out if they’re done. They also give you recommendations on things you should possibly fix if you’re planning to keep the car for a long time, but if you just want to fix a specific issue, they’re not pushy at all. You don’t get the sleazy up-selling mechanic vibe here.
I've now used Logan Auto Fix a couple times and really have nothing negative to say! Casey is a wonderful person/shop owner to interact with and runs a professional and honest business. His pricing is very fair regarding parts and labor charges and the communication through the inspection process and completion of work is top notch. One of my repairs actually came out a few dollars under the estimate!

Here's my story.
I had a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta sitting in my driveway that I'd neglected for a few years during the pandemic. I told Casey I needed to finally get around to fixing it up to sell, and he told me to bring my car over whenever.
Unfortunately, my car was dead and needed a tow.
Well, I tried to use my Progressive Roadside Assistance, and the tow truck driver that showed up was rude and hostile about having me put my car into neutral, which I had no idea how to do because the battery was dead, disconnected, and so on. I asked them to leave and was about to give up for the time being, as I had no idea how to settle the issue (in retrospect, so simple, but I get easily overwhelmed with this car stuff).
Since I'm just around the corner, I decided to pop back and let Casey know about the situation and ask if he had any ideas. He peeked into a VW that was at his shop to see how to put the car into neutral without power and had an answer in two seconds. He didn't make me feel stupid, and he didn't even expect me to know how to do what he just did, however simple -- he confirmed I lived around the corner, then offered to come over and put the car in neutral for me. During the workday. With cars in the shop.
So he drove me over to my car, popped my car into neutral, then told me I could call Progressive back to have them tow my car for free. I was stunned that he did all this for free!
I confirmed that Casey could have my car towed, because I didn't want to deal with Progressive contractors again (even for free, always a terrible experience), and he gave me a reasonable rate to tow it *and* had a tow truck at my place in ~10 minutes, tops.
In addition, he worked with me on the quote to identify and remove items that were unnecessary for a car sale (at my request), gave me an incredibly reasonable rate and came in *underneath* the quoted price.
My only regret through this whole experience is that I no longer have a car to bring to his shop, so I'm writing this review to encourage others to take their cars to his shop instead, since I can't.
I would regret not mentioning that his staff was all incredibly friendly, from the woman behind the counter that took down my information, to the driver that brought my car around when I went to pick it up, to the sweet, well-behaved, adorable dog that occasionally frequents the shop.
11/10. If I ever own a car again, I wouldn't take it anywhere else.
There are so many things I could enthusiastically say about Casey and his team at Logan Auto Fix. I started going to them when I purchased a used 2001 Subaru Outback that had some quirks that needed (what would turn out to be) diligent problem-solving and attention. What I love about this shop, first of all, is that they understand why I love my old car and are not dismissive or discouraged in wanting to solve bigger issues—an issue I have run into with other mechanics. Second is that Casey and his team lead with transparency. Expect detailed quote paperwork, pictures of new and old parts, and he will bring you under the car/hood to show you exactly what he's talking about before he starts work. This paired with their unmatched affordability will make you feel like you're in great hands. But most of all, Casey really cares about his customers in a way I've yet to see in any other mechanic. For the past year, my rust bucket has been nothing but trouble with a chronic emissions issue. Casey was never discouraged and we worked together over this time to try to figure out what was going on. He ended up replacing the catalytic converter three times (at no additional cost to me as it was all covered under warranty) until we could identify the right brand that would satisfy a persnickety check engine light that wouldn't die down. When it failed emissions because my code reading terminal was not compatible with the machines used by the state (a serious mystery and headache) Casey PERSONALLY BROUGHT MY CAR TO SCHAUMBURG with his own machine and emissions print-outs to make sure it passed. As I told him today, his one of the few people in my orbit who is actually making problems *disappear* for me instead of the other way around. Please give Logan Auto Fix your business but also be a nice customer—it is a family owned business with a sweet community of staff.
Casey and his crew are very good at what they do- I have taken my 3 cars there for repairs ranging from brakes, odd noises, to engine failure and they always took care of me with decent pricing and even fixed small issues with my cars I didn’t know was wrong- free of charge as a value add to the service.

This is a fantastic mechanic with excellent service! I received frequent updates about the investigation into my car's issue, and updated estimates as the solution changed. They even kept the part that ended up being replaced for my own inspection. I will absolutely be returning for any future repairs.
Logan Auto Fix is Professional and honest. I went to the shop to repaired dents and scratches from right side of my car. Casey is very helpful, he take time to answering my question. He explained the repaired work that need to be done for the car and the price. My car is repaired, good service was provided, and I will be a return customer!!!
I only have good things to say about the professionalism, efficiency and reliable service provided by Casey and his mechanics. Car trouble is always stressful and a nuisance, but considering the situation, they really made it as painless and digestible as possible. They are trustworthy and honest mechanics and very efficient, especially considering how busy they are. We found our neighborhood mechanic and are thrilled!
I absolutely LOVE this place. This is by far the best mechanic/auto body experience I've had in Chicago. Casey is a very kind soul and runs a great business. They do an excellent job while educating you on the issues. This will be my only go to mechanic and body shop in Chicago!
I had a loose front engine-frame mount. Casey (the owner) quickly inspected the loose engine-frame mounts & identified the defective bushings. I had to schedule the repairs, since his shop is always busy. Once in the shop, the repairs took about 5 hours total (all four engine-mount bushings needed replacement). The repair quality is excellent, with no loose rattling noises (as expected). Friendly, rapid, Superior service
Casey is amazing! He was able to get the parts in to his shop in less than 48 hours and got my car back to me quickly. He's so kind and you can tell his heart is in this business 100%! Happy to support a neighborhood business!
Casey is fantastic. Very nice and professional. I went to LAF to get have my thermostat replaced. I already had the part and the fluid necessary, so he was able to just quote me a price for labor. Very fair, and he got me in and out the same day. Would definitely recommend and will be using them from now on. Thanks Casey!
