Tuffy's recommended them bc Tuffy's could not replace my transmission and Nu-Way had the specialist knowledge to fix my transmission without replacing it, so, for more like $3000 than $5-7000. These last few days have also been some of the coldest this winter and when I told them I'll need to use public transit to get around town at 6am, they finished repairs very quickly and called me to get my car back, I didn't even have to call them. Thank you Nu-Way!
Honest local mom and pop shop. I have had 2 of my vehicles fixed here when my transmission went out on both vehicles. Marcy is the best and very transparent though the whole process. This shop provides reliable quality work at fair reasonable prices. I highly recommend this shop!
AMAZING SERVICE!!! The transmission went out in my truck, I brought it in on a Monday, and the transmission was completely rebuilt today on Thursday when I picked it up! The transmission rebuild only took 4 days!!!!! My work truck has been running great so far! I am an independent contractor so they took that into consideration and got the transmission built quickly so I could use the truck again for work! The customer service is great and they are so nice! The total cost for the rebuild was $3,250, which is more than another company I got a quote from, however it was still cheaper than the 3rd company I got a quote from! For the price and the service, the money was totally worth it! I highly recommend this company for your transmission issues! The pricing is fair and the quality is great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My beloved 2007 Jeep Wrangler wouldn’t start (twice) I got two jumps but the car wouldn’t start. NU Way jumped it for me, got it to their shop. Diagnosed the issue( alternator) and had it fixed in hours. Thank you to a great team at Nu Way Transmissions.
I called there last week for my transmission the person that picked up the phone was incredibly great she gave me an quote which was good price customer service is also I'm going to be taking my car there pretty soon to get fixed what I'm saying is the customer service over the phone was incredible and I know they're good because I got referred to them awesome people I haven't been there yet but I'll be going there pretty soon I'm going to take my car there for sure to get fixed a customer service over the phone is incredible keep up the good work and I will not go to any other mechanic and I promised of that
This place is great been here since my dad was working on cars they have done like 8 cars some mine others that I recommended and they have been the cheapest had 1 bad one but brought it back and they took care of it

Short version: I had to physically visit three times, call consistently without receiving return calls, and even leave my car there overnight with no information. They could do nothing for me and gave me the run around over four days. Do not recommend.
I found Nu-Way because of the high ratings and when my car started to have transmission issues, I gave them a call. Called them Friday, they told me to come in Saturday. Came in on Saturday, they told me to come back on Monday. Came back Monday at noon, the right person wasn't there so they asked me to just leave the car. I called them three times the rest of Monday and each time they hadn't taken a look at it yet, so they had no answers for me. When I finally called them at 5:45 PM they never picked up; I'm guessing they closed early and went home. Tuesday morning had to call 2 more times before they said if they couldn't find any errors coming off the computer there wasn't anything they could do. They had already tested this on Saturday... I had to physically visit three times, call without receiving return calls, and even leave my car there overnight with no information.
Great and fast service will really recommend this shop if you looking into getting your transmission changed or rebuilt Marcy at the front desk she was very friendly, helpful and informative
Great People. Marcy is the best. I was told I needed a new trans at the mechanic. I got it over to Nu Way where they said no you don’t. You need an oil pressure sensor. Problem solved. I was gonna sell the car but they fixed it!! Running well.
Nu Way does it the old way. They deliver excellent service for an extremely reasonable price that won't be beat. This friendly, family run, no-frills service business is hyper focused on transmissions and they know exactly how to fix them making your old car new again. If you need a transmission to keep your car on the road for a few more years, do not hesitate to bring it here.

Let me say these people are honest as the day is long. They are there to provide a service fixing transmissions and they don't rip people off. They can be trusted as we found out after dealing with them on my wife's transmission.

Horrible experience. Unable to let me know what exactly my truck was going to be fix for gave me a scheduled appoitment and did not let me know it would take more than one day. The custumer service is horrible

They are the best in town they give one year warranty on their transmissions work they go with you on a test drive before they except your money we came into a financial strain they were very patient,understanding,caring & professional I would recommend anyone with trans issues PLEASE go to Nu Way Transmission I know you will be very satisfied last of all during our financial hardship they did not charge us for storage as the car sat in their shop over the pick up period so I rate them a THOUSAND theirs no BETTER SHOP (as they had all rights to charge storage fees)but they didn't at that time they WON us now we have one mechanics for other services as well which all they do is transmission they are so sweet a business with a HEART we don't find many businesses like that these days
I had been working on a Toyota 4x4 pickup restoration and ended up with a cracked transfer case. I removed the case from the transmission and took it to Nu Way - they spent considerable effort in searching for remanufactured or new options for me, but ultimately the unit was so old that there really weren't many options other than a junkyard for the part. I ended up having them frankenstein my cracked case internals into a 4 Runner unit from ebay, and they did a superb job - full rebuild with new components and seals for a very reasonable rate given the nature of the work.
This is a highly competent operation and would definitely recommend them for any driveline work, not to mention mom-and-pop. Communication was excellent throughout the process. I cant recommend Nu Way enough!
Great service! No need to book an appointment they gave me a free diagnosis and had their technicians check my car right away. I was worried it was gonna cost an arm a leg but luckily they told me I just had a faulty part. I left it with them and they had it ready in a few hours, thanks again!
Recently got my transmission replaced from them had to return to weeks later because the transmission was slipping again...My recommendation is take your car to other shops to get estimates before you go directly to them
They only give you one year warranty two months after your warranty transmission starts to go bad again I highly do not recommend going with them
