Got hit by someone running from police and Richard’s fixed my $10k worth of damage in 5 days ? It’s like it never happened ? Amazing customer service. Excellent facility. You can really tell that they go above and beyond. Every person I encountered was wonderful. Don’t take your Tesla anywhere else!!

After someone hit my Tesla and dented the passenger side door/back side panel, my insurance adjuster recommended I take it to Richard’s Body Shop — and honestly, it was the best recommendation I’ve ever received. I have never experienced better service anywhere. They even coordinated a pickup of my car so I didn’t have to drop it off myself — amazing! The repair work was absolutely flawless; you can’t even tell my car was ever damaged. And then they went above and beyond: they cleaned both the inside and outside of my car so thoroughly that it looked brand new. I have two dogs that shed like crazy, so my car was usually covered in fur — but when I opened the door to pick it up, I was stunned. Not a single hair in sight, spotless seats, everything shining. It was such a thoughtful surprise. The service is truly top notch. The shop itself is spotless, modern, and organized — the gold standard for body shops. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and to top it all off, they have the cutest “shop dog,” Stormy, who follows the owner around with a tennis ball in her mouth. She’s adorable and somehow made the whole experience even better. If you ever need body work done, don’t hesitate — Richard’s Body Shop is the place to go.

I couldn’t have chosen a better body shop to get my car fixed. They got it done in a timely matter and it’s the only Tesla approved body shop in the area. I brought my car in last minute due to a noise I couldn’t figure out and within seconds they diagnosed and got my jeep fixed up in a very very reasonable time. I’ve sat in auto body shops for hours waiting, nope not here! As a female with 0 car knowledge, I felt completely comfortable and confident that I was not getting taken for unnecessary repairs. My Chevy Equinox was the victim of a hit and run while it was parked. We were going on vacation and could not drive the equinox with all the damage to it. Took it to Richard’s to get an estimate. We decided to leave it there to be repaired. We were given updates as to the progress of the repair. The staff that works there are very polite. We are very happy with the repairs done to the vehicle.

I strongly advise against using this establishment. The repair process was extremely stressful and drawn out, and the shop deliberately caused additional damage to my vehicle in an apparent attempt to secure more funds from my insurance provider. Following a front-impact collision, I brought my vehicle to this shop for repairs. I was initially told the process would take two weeks; however, it ultimately took five. When I got an update on the vehicle, I discovered unexplained side-rear damage that had not been present when I dropped it off. Then, when I came to pick up the vehicle, the rim—clearly damaged in the accident—had not been repaired or replaced, despite the shop later billing my insurance for this part. After the insurance company processed the payment, communication with the shop owner, Edi, became sporadic and unproductive. Although I received repeated assurances that the rim had been ordered, it never materialized. This went on for approximately two months, at which point I involved my insurance provider. The shop claimed on two separate occasions that they had sent a refund check to the insurance company, which turned out to be false. When I offered to retrieve the check in person, their explanation changed yet again to the "we now have magically placed the order" which was 2 months after informing me they never got a wheel and issued on 2 separate occasions a refund to the insurance collaborating this. The establishment works off playing games with insurance companies and then trying to avoid the owner enough until they give up. I did not give up and did not let them steal from me. Ultimately, my insurance company has initiated collections proceedings against the shop due to their refusal to return the unauthorized funds. In summary, the shop overbilled my insurance, caused additional, unapproved damage to my vehicle, and attempted to retain funds for services they never rendered. I caution others to avoid this business. Just as the other reviews mentioned they will say anything to get you to work with them and then Nhan is trained to deliberately deceive you and your insurance company, he even called my own insurance company telling them I wanted to work with them. Absolutely not! I wouldn't bring my car to these crooks for free.

Highly recommend Richard’s body shop. Owner Eddie and team are terrific. They were so friendly and honest. My Tesla had some minor body damage and they fixed everything quickly. The car looks brand new. I will be a loyal Richard’s customer for life.

Richards Body Shop is totally awesome. My Tesla got T-boned a little and I was directed to go to Richards Body Shop as they specialize in my type of car. They worked together with my insurance company and the rental car agency to make sure that not only was my car fixed, but I had a vehicle while my car was getting fixed. They reached out to me on a regular basis to let me know the progress of my car repair. When I picked up my car, it looked brand new from the outside to the inside. It was totally detailed and looked showroom new. Everyone was so polite and knowledgeable and if I ever have another accident, I will send my car to Roberts body shop. Their service exceeded my expectations.

Tesla – Wheel Alignment. Excellent customer service, communication, flexibility, and pricing. I brought my car in for a wheel alignment without an appointment, and they fit me in right away. The service was completed in just over an hour while I waited. The staff kept me informed throughout and even gave my car a complimentary wash, which I did not expect for such service. Highly recommend.

I don't typically write reviews, however, I have to give a huge shout out to Richard's Body Shop for their service today! I brought my electric vehicle in for a few paint chips/dents and in less than an hour came out with the car looking good as new. Not only did they take care of the issues, the staff also cleaned my car. Truly exceptional customer service and great quality work. You don't find this quality of service very often. Lastly, the owner is extremely nice and honest, including with pricing. He is not in business to rip you off and you can tell he's genuine. I will be revisiting Richard's Body Shop for future work that my car may need (hopefully not too much though, lol!) and will certainly pass the referral on to my family and friends too.

I think the staff at Richard’s is already well aware of what went wrong. After returning he from a week-long trip, we were specifically told our car would be ready between the hours of one and 5 PM on Monday. We did our best to stay in constant contact with the team that day, but those same efforts weren’t met by Richard’s body shop. By the time 5 o’clock rolled around and the shop closed, we hadn’t heard from anyone, leaving my wife and I scrambling to find for another way to get her to daycare in the morning. We ended up having to spend money on an expensive Uber instead of using our own vehicle as we were promised we’d be able to. I tried calling the shop and no one picked up. Instead, All I got was a couple of text messages giving me silly excuses and telling me to call in the morning even though they knew about their promise to deliver our car that day. We found out the next day that the staff either lied about or didn’t realize that they didn’t submit the supplement to my insurance company until Tuesday, meaning we never would have gotten our car on Monday. If someone had just been honest and upfront from the beginning, we would’ve been able to prepare ourselves instead of having to scramble at the last minute. Instead, I was stressed while on a work trip out of state all day Tuesday having to deal with this issue instead of focusing on my job. My insurance company moved mountains to make sure that someone could come and get everything squared away with the supplement minutes after it was submitted to them. Had it not been for them, my car may very well still be in the shop. In the future, I encourage the workers at Richard‘s body shop to be honest and upfront with their customers and let them know exactly what is going on instead of trying to make false promises they know they can’t keep.

When I came to Richard’s Body Shop my car was covered with salt and snow, they immediately washed my car before doing the estimate, took their time, and gave me a real, thorough assessment. From there, the whole process was smooth. Even though I went through the other driver’s insurance instead of my own, they handled everything professionally and kept me updated. When I got my car back, it looked immaculate inside and out. You can tell they take pride in their work. If you want quality repairs and a shop that actually cares, this is the place to go.

Recently I was involved in an accident and the passenger side rear of my Tesla Model 3 was badly damaged. Nhan Nguyen and the team at Richard’s Auto Body made my car as good as new again. They worked with my insurance company(State Farm) and made the whole process seamless and pain free. After an accident you’re always left feeling vulnerable but Richard’s put all that to rest. I recently took my wife's car to Richard's Body Shop located in Albany Park at 3030 W Lawrence Ave,One of the only shops Tesla recommends you use for body work. The team at Richard's Body Shop was not only quick and efficient but also extremely detailed and meticulous in their work. My wife recently drove through a construction site and had black gravel spots all around the car. Not to mention the few scratches that I accidentally caused while backing into the driveway, and they were able to fix them flawlessly. The attention to detail and the precision with which they worked was truly remarkable. They made sure to match the paint perfectly, and you can't even tell there were scratches there before. Moreover, the efficiency with which they completed the job was impressive. They managed to finish the detailing and repairs in a surprisingly short amount of time without compromising on the quality of their work. Given the fact that there’s a part’s shortage in the country, they were able to have my car ready in only 3 weeks when a normal amount of waiting time is like 3 months. They almost kept me in the loop with my car’s progress and when the car was ready it was given to me so clean and perfect…

My wife got in rear-ended in a high speed accident on the high way. The repair took over two months due to supply chain issues and insurance but they did give me a discount on my deductible which I appreciated. Pictures speak for themselves. Roughly 14k in damage caused by the other driver. Good as new so far, you'd never know how bad it was by looking at it. Very happy with the end result
