Albert and mechanic Eddie are absolutely amazing human beings. They saved me several thousand dollars when I was told I needed a new engine. It turns out I just needed a censor and water pump. I am truly grateful for their honesty and integrity. From now on I will only be going to them and I highly highly recomend Petco auto to anyone in need of repairs. I'd also like to add that prices for parts and labor are extremely affordable. Being a single parent, I don't know what I would have done if I needed a new engine. So again, HUGE shout out to Albert and Eddie!

I had a great experience at Petco Auto Parts & Service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. I needed a few parts for my vehicle and some repair work done, and they delivered on both fronts.
The mechanic, Eddy, I worked with was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issue clearly, without any upselling or pressure. The parts were high quality and reasonably priced, and the service was done on time and with great attention to detail.
It’s rare to find a shop where you can trust both the products and the people—this place is definitely one of them. I’ll be coming back for any future work, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, skilled service.
Petco auto parts. I want to start off with I’ve been to 2 different mechanics spots and they both told me it was my AC Compressor was broken. So I decided to drive from Niles il to Chicago and heard of Petco auto parts and they took Their time and figured out exactly what was wrong with my wife’s car and it turns out my AC COMPRESSOR WAS NOT BROKEN AND IT WAS ONLY A COUPLE OF SENSORS THAT WAS OUT THEY FIXED IT AND I SAVED $1000. You should 100 percent give Petco Auto Parts your business. It was a breath of fresh air to deal with people who care. Our family broke down in the parking lot across the street due to a dead battery. Eddie their mechanic immediately sprung in to action and helped give us a jump and then replaced the old battery with a new one. I cannot thank them enough for saving the day!!

First experience having my car fixed at Petco and the mechanic Eddie was attentive, checked everything out (beyond what I asked) and gave very honest and thorough explanations followed by great work for a super fair price. I later found out that Eddie has an engineering background, which makes sense, because he was super intelligent and figured stuff out that other mechanics couldn’t. I’m so happy that my old Land Rover will be in trusted hands with Eddie. Albert was also super kind and the whole place seems efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

These guys are great, I saved a few hundred by getting my struts, shocks put in. The prices on the parts were great and the quality is awesome. My vehicle is driving like brand new. I never bordered about or cost of towing my cars to the shop. To me find it convenient and much more reliable working with the senior mechanic and all others working there.
I got reccomended by a friend but i went here today to go gst my blower motor fixed well replaced and they were on it in and out in under a hour but what stood out to me was they always get phone calls and thats a good shop other place wanted to charge me close to $900 for the same thing. This one did it for 125 all inclided i will be back to go get my abs wheels spees sensors etc they are kind and value your time it is small on the inside but the back is i think decent sized they fized my blower motor and it works great i cant wait to reccomend more people to them .
I came here today after being referred to them by a friend. Ive had several other mechanics look at my car and got the run around each time saying it was everything from my transmission to my gas pedal and everything in between. I didnt have too high of hopes of ever finding out what exactly was really wrong with it. Eddie very thoroughly looked over my car and was able to pinpoint that it was in fact loose wires in my throttle body and was quickly able to repair it in a matter of minutes on the spot. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a honest efficient and skilled mechanic. He could have easily sold me on a bunch of parts and repairs i didnt need, but he didnt. Ive never written a review on a business ever in my life but he definitely earned the 5 stars in my book. He will continue to get all of my business moving forward. I went here to pass the emissions test. They recommended work that did not need to be done. They never got my car to pass emissions. I had to go to Mufflers for less on Clark and Ridge. Wonderful job and at a reasonable price. Petco on Kedzie prices are extremely high and they don't know what they are doing. Total rip off. DON'T DO IT unless you have money to give away and still won't get your car fixed.
