I brought my suv here in October for a freon leak. They kept it for over a month, and when I picked it up, I was told there was a water leak (never happened on my watch). The carpet in the back got wet and smelled awful. I finally got rid of the smell 6 months later. Went to use the ac for the first time. It was never fixed. I called and was told to bring it in. Dropped it off, left, then once I got all the way back home (no easy task with the Kennedy construction), I was told they were going to fix it because Zarko didn't like me. He had confused me with someone else when I called. So for $1,841, I got a car back in worse shape than when I dropped it off and a lot of my time wasted. Oh, and if you're going to use a customer's car to make a coffee run, take the receipt out of the cup holder.
Have been going to Four Star for 12+ years for car & van repair; Zarko is a wizard of a mechanic (esp. for body work) and tells it like it is so you know what needs to be done. A++ & name needs to be changed to 5Star Automania.
Great mechanic. He is very honest with that he can or can’t do. I brought in my car after a accident and he did such amazing work that it looks like brand new car.
I had run over a small piece of scrap metal and blown my tire out and I was told that I needed a brand new tire. It was a very small hole, and I was pretty sure it could be patched. I stopped by Four Star and Zarko told me that the patch would work fine. He stopped what he was doing and I had my car back within 45 minutes. He was very honest and made sure he showed me everything he was doing. As a first time customer who just moved to the neighborhood, he made a great impression. I will be bringing my car here for any future work I may need.
I had already knew what the issue was with my car, I bought the part and brought the car in for service. They told me it was going to be SIX HOURS of labor to fix the ignition switch, I couldn't be such a job would cost so much. The 350$ was pure labor for replacing ignition switch not including parts because the parts were already supplied. I will not return here for the service
Sin duda uno de los mejores lugares de el área de chicago. Zarco como siempre muy honesto y justo con el trabajo que hacen nunca te cobran por algo que no an hecho y mucho menos te cambian partes q no son, como en muchos otros lugares.
My partner had previously gotten his car worked on at another shop, which charged more and did less than this place. He was raving about his experience here and can't stop smiling because his car is in much better shape now. Thanks so much, and keep up the good work!
