Lived in Baltimore 25 years. Paid for defective work. Owner threatened to call police when my wife—not me—raised concerns. Make of that what you will. They have one opportunity to make this right before I post a detailed review.

Update: Your reply is dishonest and only reinforces my original review. At no point was I “a random person.” I identified myself as my mother’s daughter when I was in your parking lot. You said, "Oh she's in here" and you took me to her in your front office. You knew exactly who I was, and you still chose to speak to me in a dismissive, condescending manner. When we got to the car and you got an attitude when I asked you to explain the estimate and what you'd be doing, I then identified myself as the owner of the vehicle but that I gave the truck to my mother. That wasn't even enough because you still responded with irritation. Asking questions about a repair estimate—especially on behalf of an elderly parent—is not “aggressive” or “bringing troubles through the door.” It is reasonable and should be welcomed, and expected. Instead of answering respectfully as a service provider, you deflected, belittled, and ultimately asked us to leave. Claiming there is a “video recording” does not change the reality of our experience and of how you treated us. A professional business owner would take accountability instead of trying to discredit the customer and rewrite the interaction. Your response only confirms what I described, and why I stand by my original review. You should reflect seriously on if this is how you want to be known. Original Review: I strongly do not recommend this business. My recent experience with the owner’s son was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I brought in my BMW SUV (currently driven by my elderly mother) after it was damaged in an accident. My family has supported this shop in the past—my sister has been here twice, and my brother three times—which is why I expected a decent level of customer service. Instead, I was met with hostility. When I asked the owner’s son to review the estimate with me, he acted irritated and dismissive, making it clear he was bothered by a simple request for clarification. He questioned who I was, then stated that he only explains things once and to one person—referring to my mother. This is unacceptable. My mother is elderly, and neither of us are car experts. It’s completely reasonable to ask questions about a repair estimate, especially when a small dent and a few scratches are being billed as 10 hours of work. When I pressed further, he became abrasive and condescending. His tone and behavior toward us were entirely unprofessional. At that point, I told my mother we should leave, as no customer deserves to be spoken to that way. He then told us to leave himself, cementing the fact that this business does not value respectful customer relationships. As a result, not only did they lose my business, but also that of my sister, my brother, and my mother. A company that treats customers this poorly should not supported.

I can’t say enough great things about this shop! After a scary experience hydroplaning, I brought my car in for repairs and was met with nothing but kindness, professionalism, and top-notch service. They took care of everything quickly and kept me informed throughout the process. Huge shoutout to Ronald, the owner — he truly went above and beyond. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely caring and compassionate in this line of work. You can tell he truly cares about his customers, not just their cars. I left feeling safe, supported, and incredibly grateful. Highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of reliable, honest, and timely auto care. Thank you again, Ronald and team!

I came and brought and laundry list of stuff I needed done for my banged up Z. Came out looking brand new. Great work, great price, great people, all done in a timely manner. Class!!

Unfortunately I did not have as good of an experience as others. Leading up to getting the work done Ronald was stand off-ish and rude over the phone and in person. I wanted to know what it would cost to do a smaller portion of the work and he gave me a hard time claiming that each question needed a new estimate and I would need to start paying if I wanted more than 2. Then, I leave with him only printing out 1 of the estimates for me anyway. When I call a couple weeks later to see when I could bring the car in, he gives me a hard time repeatedly telling me he would have it fixed in one day and that they're open everyday and I don't need an appointment. Well, when I did finally drop the car off and say "can you have it done today" he tells me there's no way that could happen. While dropping the car off, we go back out to the car, he tells me the smaller area is no longer fixable in and of itself and that it would be $600 to fix the whole thing (different from the original estimate of $750). I even asked if that included replacing the plastic wheel well cover thing to which he said "no you don't need to replace any parts." When I show up after 2 days to pick up my car, the repainted area has bubbles in it, the major dent is still there, and the scratches on the wheel well plastic piece are obvious to the naked eye. I brought this to Ronalds attention and he returned my key without charging me, but I really hoped for more after seeing the other promising reviews for this shop

Five out of five stars… I’ve had my car back for two weeks. It’s running flawlessly and the body work was very well done. All the panels align nicely. I asked them not to paint because I’m vinyl wrapping, but the before and after photos speak for themselves. Prompt communication and fast service. Appreciate yall for resurrecting my car after it was deemed a total loss.

Don’t waste your time or money with these people. I had a Claim that was taking longer than normal and the manager put my vehicle outside the gate unprotected. To add insult to injury this fool parks it in the tow away zone. When you have a claim and it takes time , don’t expect the Day business to work with you. When they put the truck outside the gate , they did it with the battery so low I had to get it jump started to move it. Ron does not understand how handle business.

Day’s Auto is truly the kindest, most honest in the industry. They perform reliable and quick work every single time. As a young femme person with little car knowledge, I have had my fair share of untruthful mechanics trying to scam me into unnecessary and expensive repair work. But Day’s Auto is transparent and with their customers and have been taking care of my car for years now. I refuse to go to any other shop because they have set the bar so high. If you need any kind of body or mechanical work on your vehicle in Baltimore City, go to Days Auto. They genuinely value their customers experience and time and will have your back. 10/10

I had a series of dents and scratches along the frame of my driver's side door from a failed break in. I've never been to Day's before, but I live in the area and wanted something local for the convenience. Ronald took a look at the damage and answered all of my (many) questions. The price, lead time, and availability were significantly better than other quotes I had received. I dropped my car off and Ronald's team made it look like new in only a few days! My biggest concern was the paint matching, but the execution was flawless. I am incredibly thankful for this team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for body work!

May be the best car service I have ever received. My front bumper and headlight needed replaced. These guys provided me an estimate day of and fixed everything within 2-3 days in good as new condition for a great price. Easiest 5/5 Stars I have ever given.

I can't recommend the group at Day's Auto Body enough. We have an older Nissan Altima and it was taking on water in the passenger side front and back seats somehow. After googling, I thought it might be a clog in the sunroof drainage. After calling Day's they said to bring it in, in a couple of days. I bring it in, expecting them to confirm the problem and tell me how much it would cost. After I waited for about 30 minutes for them to diagnose the problem... they came in and said it was done. I was confused, but they had not only unclogged the drain, but they wet vacuumed all the excess water out the car and charged me NOTHING! I pleaded with them to let me pay and they said just come back when I have a big problem. Suffice it to say, I'll be back. (I did stop by the next day with coffee and donuts as a token.)

My experience at Days Auto Body was amazing! I needed to bring my car up and didn’t have a clue what was wrong. They found out what was wrong which is something I had fixed prior at another shop. They only charged me 1/3 of the price that the last shop did and actually got the job done right! The staff was super friendly and they were able to get me in quickly.

I got my car a few months ago and somebody backed into it already.🤦🏽‍♂️. Thanks to Days auto, they have me feeling brand new again😍. The accident had the trunk of my car crooked. I couldn’t even put the spare tire covers on properly because it was so uneven. They fixed everything in less than a week. I will definitely recommend🖤

After telling me to come sign papers to start car fix, I spent $30 to get there for them to tell me they would not fix my mechanical issues because I wanted someone else to do bodywork. I was then charged storage fees for the days they had the car even though they chose not to do the work. Very unimpressed and irritated. Feeling like I was bamboozled just to pay storage fees. Will never recommend them. I WAS CHARGED $700 BECAUSE THEY DECIDED NOT TO FIX MY CAR. THEY JUST WANT MONEY. I WILL BE CONTACTING A LAWYER. I have never defrauded anyone I simply did not want you to do body work. You also released my vehicle to someone other than me who doesn't even possess a license nor did you ask for ID I also never received a receipt or signed any paperwork whatsoever

Ronald was great to work with and really professional with giving updates about the status of the repairs. Definitely recommend this auto shop - there’s a reason they’re BUSY! Clearly everyone wants to use them in the area. It’s tough to find a reliable auto body shop in the area so save yourself time and trust these guys!

I recently went to the business as a returning customer, thinking I would get exceptional service because they worked on my cars previously. My car was recently in an accident and sustained front-end damage. The new shop manager Ronnie took advantage of me because I felt he didn't know I would have any car knowledge being a woman. I was not pleased with the work and how my bumper still has a gap where it is supposed to be attached to the hood! He used the same parts on my vehicle; he only repainted my bumper; I was told he ordered after-market parts because that is what an insurance company pays for, which is a lie! I have a 2021 Camry. The parts for that vehicle are pretty affordable, in the low hundreds, and he received well over 2,000 from my insurance company to only use the same bumper on my vehicle, leaving the scratches that it previously had on them; not only did he lie about how the bumper was new he became aggressive when I bought my boyfriend to inspect the vehicle because he knew he had utilized the same parts when asked to talk to the actual owner he will not allow it, and made up lies about how the grill detached from the bumper and not as a whole! I WILL not recommend anyone to go there if he is still around! I will never spend any money with them AGAIN! I wish I knew he had taken over running the shop before allowing him to touch my vehicle! Very disappointed!

I visited this location was to make payment for a third party. They did not initially charge a fee to accept credit cards on my first visit when making the initial payment to start work. When visiting the location to pay the balance I was encouraged to save money by paying with CASH to avoid paying a service fee charged by their new processor Slice. The terms and types of payment currently available are not as convenient as they were during my first visit. I had to visit my local branch and withdraw the funds to make payment. That was not convenient either, and upon returning the location was closed minutes before I got back from the bank was even more frustrating. They did attempt to wait outside their normal hours for me to return but evening traffic cause my run to the bank to be longer than 30-40 mins. If I had known in advance that CASH was preferred then this would have been a smoother transaction. To be clear there were no, issues with the quality of the work being done, nor the price charged for the work being done for the third party. This review is specifically with regard to the payment options available. My review was updated to provide clear context for my review and my experience when visiting the location. The staff was polite, helpful and eager to resolve my concerns even though I was not the actual customer they were providing service too and this is why I updated my review. I strongly recommend you be ready to pay CASH when patronizing this location, and they will have the receipt ready for you.

Day's took what was supposedly a "totaled" car (t-boned) and turn it around very professionally.. in fact the doors work better now than they did when it was new. Nice clean shop, good people and service at a fair price that I was more than happy to pay (insurance said it cost over $8,000 to repair the damage which is why they totaled the car. Ha!) Kudos!

Got a nail in my tire and with a very busy schedule, I needed to get it fixed as soon as possible before work. Called a couple of places, but only Day's was able to accommodate me quickly. They were fast in repairing, and pricing was more than reasonable. They even filled up my tires thereafter. Really nice people working there. Will definitely be back for repairs in the future.

Just had my new car tire plugged because of a nail. Had no idea what was wrong going in. Service was prompt and business is honest. Pricing is decent.

I TOLD MY VEHICLE TO DAY'S AUTO BODY SHOP AND WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED/UNHAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICES. WHEN I RECEIVED MY VEHICLE BACK IT WAS DRIVING TO THE RIGHT AND MY DOOR WAS PAINTED WITH THE WRONG COLOR GRAY. MY DOORS ARE NOW TWO TONE COLOR GRAYS. (VERY NOTICEABLE). PLEASE SEE THE PICTURE THAT IS ATTACHED SHOWING A MESSY, DISGUSTING BAD JOB DONE TO MY DOOR. NOW I HAVE TO LOOK AT SILCONE GREASE EVERYTIME I OPEN MY CAR DOOR. I WILL NEVER NEVER EVER USE THIS BODYSHOP AGAIN. ONLY GOOD THING OUT OF THIS EXPERIENCE WAS HE ALLOWED ME MORE TIME TO PICK MY VEHICLE UP.

The first time I got my car fixed here, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They ordered the part right in front of me and showed me the price. Good prices, very flexible and knowledgeable. Second time going now and the staff was just as friendly and helpful and even discovered a nail in my tire and offered to take car of it! Great prices, great service. Would definitely recommend. Not open on weekends.

Excellent bumper and fender work, very honest (I saw them ordering the replacement parts in front of me) and affordable. Really nice folks who do good work in timely fashion. Paint job was just like new. I prefer to support family owned businesses in my city rather than go out to the county. Would come back here again without hesitation.

I had a great experience here and highly recommend Day's for auto body work. Ronnie was very friendly, gave me a great price for a bumper/fender replacement, and had my car ready within a few days. He was easy to get ahold of and produces very high quality work. The car looks excellent, and I am very happy to find a reliable place within my own neighborhood.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Day's Auto Body for over 17 years. When you find great people who produce great work, you stick with them. It is a family based shop and they make you feel like you are family too. I don't trust anyone else when it comes to repairing my car. They are honest, experienced, and overall a great business.

My experience with Days Auto body has been magnificent. They have worked on all the cars I have owned. Not to mention they made my current car look brand spanking new. I love the shop it is clean, professional, and courteous. Also black own, I will always take my car to Day's Auto body not just for my body needs but also for my mechanical work.
