Joey the manager helped me this past Saturday with my key fob. He had a great customer service, shared a lot of important information and really helped me. Joey is the best!

Staff very helpful. Look up parts for you. Install wiper blades for free. 2022-08 Update... Still same great service. Needed a new battery. Other places couldn't replace it for a week! Called Advanced Auto, they looked up what I needed, pulled the battery and had it waiting at the counter when I got there. And, they installed it for free! In and out in under 20 minutes, only took so long because my car has unusually small bolts and they had to find the right size socket. 202512 update - same great service. Battery in a different car died. Called to confirm they had it in stock, they did. Drove up, they came out to the car to confirm they could install. Went back in, finalized the purchase and they came out and installed. I'm and out in 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

My wiper got Detached from My Porsche Macan. I thought it broke so I stop by to Advance Auto & Talk to one of Sales person Mr. WILL. He came out & look at it. He said it is not broken just got detached so he put it back in 20 seconds Boom. Job was done. Thank you so much Will. I true appreciate your generosity. This is the reason I Like to Go to Only Advance Auto because of their Great service & always been helpful to the customers. Thanks & Good luck for the Business.

The lady that works there,(sorry,forgot the name) was awesome!

My biggest complaint would be their delivery situation either 3rd party takes an hour to go 6 blocks or their delivery driver is spotty at best

This store is always very helpful with my Automotive DIY projects. This time around was no exception. My salesperson helped me straighten out an online purchase mishap or two, and she even made suggestions to make my life easier with the projects I was setting up.

Outstanding customer service! As a first-time customer purchasing auto parts, I received exceptional help from a young staff member. When I parked near the store to identify the part I needed, he listened attentively to my problem and resolved it within minutes. I'm very grateful for his assistance. I regret not getting his name to acknowledge him properly.

Needed a battery & windshield wipers. Also, had a system check for free just to be sure the problem was only the battery. Paid for the merchandise & an awesome young man replaced both the battery & the windshield wipers for FREE! All done in about 45 minutes & we were back on the road! I say this was a great experience!! Definitely recommend.

Don't go here they are useless. Can't return a part you bought 2 days ago not used. Employees just rude as can be. Save yourself go to Amazon or Napa!

I was there at 7:30 this morning, store was opened on time and the very helpful and nice employee even assisted with replacing my windshield wiper on my car! I was so thankful to encounter such a nice person so early in the morning on such a blistering cold day! 😊

Called and needed a cabin air filter for a 2003 rav4 and 2006 tacoma. Carrie answered the phone and was extremely helpful and quickly checked to see if they were in stock and set them aside for my husband to pick up within the hour. Worst service ever. Needed to purchase a product. Both store attendants were outside helping people. There were no sales people inside attending to the store. The lady admitted that she saw me go into the store but never acknowledged me! Next time I will go to Auto Zone! There is no reason why I should have to go outside looking for employees!

I stopped here today to buy a battery for my 9 year old car. The ladies behind the counter quickly determined the correct battery and offered to remove my old one and replace it at no charge. They accomplished this quickly and efficiently with good humor. I was on my way in minutes. This was an extremely positive experience and I will definitely shop here again when a need arises.

Ordered windshield wipers for my car but could not figure out how to put them on. I was about to return them and the associate came out to my car and installed them himself. As well as took away my old windshield wipers. Excellent service!

I wish I would have gotten the name of the gentleman who helped me just now (9:18 am) but both him and the other associate were very kind and so helpful. I get really nervous walking into auto stores as I am not very knowledgeable about cars, but these 2 were great and I left with no anxiety after. Thank you both so much!

I was in a jam and needed a car battery for my Civic. Kerri as a great help, and she was very knowledgeable. I was in and out in a few minutes and got a good price. Location is very convenient also

Wow. What a great experience I had at Advance Auto today. I asked my dealership to replace all my wiper blades while I had my truck in for service. They forgot the rear one which was the worst. I went back today to ask them for a replacement blade. They told me I had to buy the whole arm which was $50. I went to advance auto in Fallston but they were out. They referred me to the store in Perry Hall. They had my wiper blades in stock and the counter person assembled it for me and put in on my truck. Thank you for the great customer service.

I had been going to this store for my car needs and the team that works here is very helpful! I came in today to buy windshield wipers because I haven’t been getting the right one at other stores. Rachel confirmed that I have the correct wiper but I didn’t realize that my cars windshield wiper was a complicated one. Rachel together with the help of another team member (Sorry, I forgot to get his name and he helped a lot) helped me put the correct wiper blade parts from the items I bought (which I would not been able to do since the guy had to put a lot of effort in removing the parts), installed the wiper blades in my car and inspected it to make sure it was installed correctly. This is not the first time I received amazing service from this store. When I needed to buy a coolant for my car, I almost bought the wrong one and the person working in the store checked to make sure it’s the right one. I also had to come here when my battery died and I had to remove the battery from my car, take the battery there to get checked and then buy a new one. When the guy who sold me the new battery found out that I just took the battery out of my car and that may car was not next to the store, he gave me tips on how to install the battery back in my car and prevent the car from having errors. I live 30 minutes away but I specifically come to this store because of their consistent amazing service! If you need anything for your car, check this place out and you won’t regret it.

Thank you for helping my battery work this time. The guy from Advance auto parts helped me to replace the old battery with no sweat. He also checked the starter and alternator to make sure everything is operational. Fast service and quality work that's what I really like about the company. Great job and more power to the team.

I have always used this particular Advanced location for parts that I need. Just recently I have needed to purchase an alternator and battery. Rachel was extremely helpful with my purchase and helped ease my mind, she could tell I was stressed! She installed my battery and it wasn’t an easy install. She didn’t let it frustrate her. I really appreciated her expertise. Thank you!

I made an online PREPAID purchase of 5 basic items. I called and spoke to the manager asking when the order would be ready. He said 15-30 minutes. I got there an hour later. NOTHING PULLED AND HALF THE ITEMS NOT EVEN IN STOCK. Took over a half hour in store for clerk to pull 3 items... Car seat covers, 2 air fresheners and floor mats!! 30 minutes! Called to ask about the process & complain and rude AF manager hung up. I'll never go to advance auto parts again. The worst service EVER.

Terrible experience at the 8820 Belair Rd location. Replacing a car battery should not be this much hassle. An associate named Rich H. was rude and incompetent. He was not wearing any uniform or name tag, just his leather jacket and black pants. I parked next to the entrance door in a parking spot but he insisted me to move my car in front of the door which was a fire lane with yellow curb. He did not know how to unscrew 10mm sockets that were holding down the car battery. He went inside and asked another associate. At this point, I decided to stop him and took my car to another location. I did not have the nerve to tell him that I did not feel comfortable with him working on my car so I made up an excuse. My online order came with a free terminal protection kit but it was ordered for a pick up at another store which was my mistake. He told me that there is nothing he can do with online orders so I purchased another one using my credit card ($4). The other location (2033 E Joppa Rd) took care of the installation with no issues (big thanks to the gentlemen that helped me). I took the extra kit back to 8820 for a refund. Rich H. asked for my online confirmation number and I asked why because I am returning something that I paid with my credit card in the store. We went back and forth a few times and I gave him the online confirmation number. He processed the return and gave me a receipt to sign. I looked down and it showed a total of $0.00. Yes, he gave me a return receipt that had $0.00. If I did not pay attention, I would have walked away thinking that I got the refund. I explained to him that using my online order is not going to give me a refund because it was a free product. He tossed it immediately. I asked him to use the receipt that I got when I purchased the extra kit using my credit card. I wasted a few hours trying to replace my car battery today which is fine but this gentleman named Rich H. at the 8820 Belair location raised a lot of questions in my mind whether he should be allowed to work at Advance Auto Parts. Besides his indifferent manner, he was not skilled (let us be honest, you do not need to be skilled to replace batteries) and he did not know how to process a return. I had great experiences with Advance Auto Parts before and it is a shame that this location is damaging its brand and reputation. I am never going back to this location although I live five minutes away. Such an inconvenience.
