Matt and his team were great to work with. I had a warehouse full of old computer equipment that my company wanted gone. I found Matt through a Reddit recycling page. I sent pictures of our horde of stuff and he scheduled a time to come pick it all up. A week or so later, we had a check in hand. I've spread the word across my industry and we'll certainly use their services again if needed.

I have a Segway Personal Transporter I2 powered by 2 Lithium Ion Batteries. After a good run the old batteries needed to be replaced. My replacement batteries all worked out well considering that Segway has quit making the original Segway and is no longer providing any kind of support. The old batteries are considered medium size and are rated at about 380 Watt Hours each. Unfortunately this is a size larger than most all recyclers will accept or can be shipped anywhere without lots of paperwork and expense.
As a last resort I found a good review from someone having similar problems recycling Lithium Ion batteries and I got in touch with Matt Young. Even though this was a larger size than he typically handled he was able to work something out and for a minimal service fee was able to accept my batteries for recycling. Thank you Matt!!

I work for a government entity and I was having trouble finding somewhere to recycle a couple of lithium-ion batteries. After a handful of places told me they could not take my batteries. I came across Electronics Value Recovery. I emailed their support. I received quick responses from Matt and he was extremely helpful! After a few emails back and forth for information, all he had me do is bring them over to the office and drop it off at the front desk. Any future electronics that I need to recycle, I will be going there.
Great experiences bringing our electronic scrap here. Matthew was wonderful at getting us acquainted with their services and how it all works. We drive about an hour to drop our scrap and they always make it a smooth process for us. The rates are very competitive. For our purposes and situation, it is the best money for our time and efforts. Really great operation with great people; highly recommended.
