What clients say about Firestone Complete Auto Care in Old Baltimore (MD)

I went to Firestone to get my brakes replaced and they were able to fit me in same day and the price was fair. Marc at the front desk was very understanding and accommodating to my needs and made my experience pleasant. I will definitely return to this Firestone location when my car needs servicing in the future!

Marvin has been very hands-on throughout the entire process of addressing my car-related concerns. He was proactive with his communication and made my experience very welcoming. I was hesitant on visiting this location at first based on the reviews I read, but based on my experience with him I would return.

I had a great experience at Firestone thanks to Anyssa. From the moment I walked in, she was polite, welcoming, and helped me immediately. She was very efficient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. On top of that, she was outgoing and genuinely sweet, which made a big difference. Excellent customer service!!! Firestone is lucky to have her!

Anyssa was great. Arrived first thing in the morning and she squeezed us in to replace tires. Service and overall experience was solid

Mark Bruno and Anissa and the Boss David took really good care of me as they always do I bring my Volvo my wife Lexus and our son Fiat here all the time for our car maintenance needs.
Feb 21, 2026 -
Overall was a mediocre experience. Was told it would be an hour wait for a tire change that ended up being four. Also I noticed my car appeared to have been finished for a while before they gave it back. One bright point was the service guy, mark I think his name was

Anyssa was so help! Both times I came she was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The mechanic that worked on my car did a great job as well. Filled all my tires with air!

We made an appointment to drop off by 8am and tell them we need 330pm the lastest. the first time they didn't even get to it. Next day, we gave them until 330pm again, Well its after 4pm and the car is still not done. im not happy at all!

I had been in contact with this Firestone throughout the afternoon (but had trouble getting a tow truck). When the tow truck finally arrived it was almost closing time, but the service tech assured me that they would complete the work this evening! And they did! Speedy & efficient. Most grateful for the care and compassion shown by Anyssa. Thank you!!🙏😊

They had the car for more than 8 hours for a symbol tire change. I came at 8 am and still after 6 closing they was working on it. It’s the uber rental for hertz. Hertz gave the approval and they went back after that and tried to add an oil change and hertz denied it. Nobody called to tell me. Im waiting for them to call all that time and the work to be finished. It’s surely no regards for my time. They told me 2 hours this morning but I feel like once I called the district manager then they tried to inconvenience me more. It was 4 pm when I got the third approval. Now I come back at 5:38 pm and they still talking about 20 mins. Lied to me in my face and said the tire was already on, they was just doing the oil change. I can clearly see that the tire wasn’t on. Last week I needed a tire, same tire and they took 5 hours then. They bad business. I will never come back, ever.

I put a brand new cabin air filter in my van, and a brand new engine air filter in my van, and topped off my wiper fluid myself the day before I took my vehicle in to Firestone for an oil change. Imagine my surprise when they listed those items as needing replaced or refilled on my free inspection report! And this is why people do not trust mechanic shops! I did double check the dipstick and my oil was correctly full, but it makes me wonder if they actually did the service as specified or if they just topped me off and moved along.

Have fitted me in at short notice several times, work on my car seems good and the folks working there are nice. Car is ready at the end of the day, work sometimes takes a bit longer than expected so don't wait there.

Found out at ~6pm last night that I needed a new alternator. This shop got the part in overnight and I had my car back to me in less than 24 hours! It was not a fun situation in the moment last night, but Rene is very knowledgeable and extremely kind and I am so happy that he’s the person who helped me! This location is near my work and I’m glad to have someone I like and trust for when something pops up again in the future.

Highly recommend, as this is my neighborhood shop. I’ve bought 3 sets from Firestone and two sets from this shop in particular. This isn’t your average tire shop, they’re clean, full service and take care of you. I recently bought an older truck (2010) and brought it in to have it worked on to be road ready for a long trip. Rotate, balance, align, TPMS replacement. The price for the TMPS was higher than I’d hoped but they took my price match from another shop and honored the price. They were all professional and kind for something that isn’t always easy to do for a business. I’ll get my next set of tires here and trust these guys to take care of my truck moving forward.

I arrived at this Firestone location at approximately 10:15am on 12/23/25 for an oil change, a tire rotation and I needed a valve stem cap removed that had seized up. Keep in mind that all 4 valve stem caps had seized up but I had previously removed 3 of them with a simple Dremel tool. Just never got to the last one because I wore down the cutting blade on my Dremel and did not have another one handy. No worries though! I was sure that Firestone would make short work of it. Anyway, by 11:00 am my Toyota Tundra was inside the shop and up on a lift. I expected to be waiting so I brought my dog along for company. About an hour and a half later I received an email with my vehicle inspection report attached. There was a number I needed to call so they could go over the report with me and attempt to sell me additional services. Because I was right outside walking my dog I went in and reviewed the report in person with who I believe was the store manager. I initially declined all additional services, but then thought better of it and decided on having my battery replaced. It was on the list so I thought what the hell, it is the original battery. So I informed the manager that I would like to go ahead with the battery replacement. At this point I figured that was all that was left to do and I would be out of there in the next half hour. Oh I should add that while we were discussing the battery replacement the manager went into great detail concerning the removal of that seized up, valve stem cap. Keep that in mind because it will come up again later. After our discussion I took my dog on another walk and then another walk and then back to the store and then another walk and then back to the store. Getting the picture here? I would guess another 2 hours had passed when I began to wonder if my new battery was actually on the premises. Was it something they stocked or did it need to be delivered to the store?? No way! The manager would have told me that. What was I thinking?? Still I wondered what was taking so long. Luckily, while on our 11th walk my dog and I ran into the store manager right out front of the location. I said hey bossman, do you guys actually have that battery here? He glossed over my question and went on to give me new details on that pesky valve stem cap and described how his guy was going to do some intricate mechanic shit and save me from having to pay for a new one. Earlier in the day I had expressed that I had nooooo problem just paying for a new one, but who wants to argue with a guy working on your vehicle. I mean that is as bad as arguing with someone who is preparing your food. Honestly, I was stunned and so was my dog. I thought how could this valve stem cap be such a challenge when I removed 3 of them in 20 minutes just weeks earlier? Well what could I do? I guess I’ll take the dog for a walk so off we went. Another hour passed, my phone was dead, my dog was bored and I was wishing I had never mentioned that damn valve stem cap. So with no where else to turn I decided I should take the dog on another walk. As I exited the store I was approached by one of the shop mechanics and he had some questions about my dog. I answered his questions and he shared some interesting details about his dogs. Real nice guy! As we parted ways he said, you’ve been here a long time. Which vehicle is yours? I said it’s that red Tundra. I came in for an oil change & tire rotation and I’ve been here like 5 hours. Oh and I did add a new battery. He looked as stunned as the dog and I did earlier, but he still said, let me check on it. I said thanks! Tell me why this dude came right back and said everything is finished, just waiting on ur battery to get here. Finally!! Finally, the Universe opened and the truth was revealed!! It was never about a valve stem cap. The entire time it has been about this store manager wanting to sell me a $240 battery that could have easily waited. I immediately cancelled the battery replacement and the manager never acknowledged his deceit. 6 hrs for routine maintenance!! Never Again!

Wasted time. Waited like a hour+ to get two tires changed. I could tell the tires felt low. Got home check it was 18psi hot after a hour drive. Door tag calls for 32 or 36 (for already hot or above 100mph). So really low. The rims had scratches. One is just a mark on the paint with a deep scuff and the other is like paint off… l guess it took over a hour cuz they check everything and send u a list of stuff that needs done they wanna sell u. Instead of get u what u wanted and do it right….. it’s a tire shop first and foremost? And u can’t put right psi? A scratch wheels? But try to sell me a cabin filter? Unacceptable….

I had a 9am appointment for an oil change and check engine light, but I was not informed about the duration of the service. Consequently, I ended up waiting for 4.5 hours. The lobby was unkempt, with the TV turned off and no cups for water. The bathroom was disgusting, overflowing with trash and the toilet covered in fecal matter. The staff seemed disinterested and unprofessional. One of the sales representatives appeared unwell and lacked any personality. So I paid $139 for labor on a $110 oil change? They did a full inspection for $9.99 … also my car was done for an hour before someone (the mechanic) @ 12:30pm had to let the young lady know I’d been sitting there for a while. She was also at her job for an hour before heading out to get breakfast. While professionalism is usually a positive attribute, this experience was an exception. It’s the small details that can make a significant difference in a business’s success, especially in this challenging economy. Unfortunately, this franchise seems to prioritize upselling over customer satisfaction. My first visit great the guy who inspected my car, really cool and I came back the next day shelled out $600 plus and thank him. And it’s the holidays throw some music in… a Christmas tree with all that space, push a broom a half hour before the shift, don’t wait for the nightly cleaning crew to empty the trash. Anywho… thank you for reading this rant, but being a manager for a while myself, one thing I’ve taken away is… a clean bathroom and doing more than asked when no one is looking means you have healthy pride and humility.

Got robbed blind. Completely overcharged for services. When I asked why they charged for “checking” some systems and not others they were very vague. Waited 4 hours in store despite telling me it would take less than 2 hours. Completely overpriced for bad customer service and only one person in there seemed to understand their price system.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped me to get my car in and fixed before the Thanksgiving holiday! My car had a check engine code that told me that my engine was misfiring and my usual shop couldn’t get me in until a week after Thanksgiving. Firestone on York Road took my call and got my car in and fixed the next day! She’s running like a dream now! Thank you all so much!

I had a screw in my tire and needed help fast. I could hear the air come out . They refused to help. Wanted me to drop the car off! It would tskev2 min to patch it. I went to Exxon and they did it right away. There’s no care or kindness in this place. Imagine what they would do to your vehicle when u leave it there?

2/5 Stars: 4-Hour Appointment and Questionable Service I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today. I scheduled a specific appointment for four new tires and a rotation, but the job still took nearly four hours to complete. If a routine, scheduled service requires half a day, it completely defeats the purpose of making an appointment in the first place. My entire afternoon was wasted due to this shocking lack of efficiency. Beyond the wait, the customer service was highly questionable. The counter person immediately tried to charge me approximately $200 more than the quote I had received and confirmed through the Firestone mobile app. This attempted upcharge included pressuring me to add an alignment service. Fortunately, I was able to show them the confirmed price and they honored it, but it felt like a blatant attempt to upsell or overcharge. The final piece of poor service was the communication regarding my vehicle. After the car was finally finished—four hours later—they casually informed me that my brake light was burned out. They had my vehicle in the service bay for four hours and waited until I was checking out to tell me about a minor, crucial safety issue they could have addressed at the beginning. Overall, it was a frustrating experience defined by poor scheduling, attempted upcharging, and a complete failure in basic customer communication.

Anyssa and Rene both provided excellent customer service, care and patience to me when i came in to change all my tires. They also have a great sense of humor and made the process easy going. When going here, ask for them. They are both amazing and personable folks who are also professional.

Had a vibration at above 70mph so I knew this was a balance issue and they are brand new wheels. Told me they would balance my tires for $14 per wheel and made an appointment. Tech comes back after like 10 minutes and says since I bumped up my tire width two sizes that is why they are vibrating so bad. I laughed and asked for my keys back. Took it somewhere else and they balanced all 4 wheels no problem, vibration is gone. Not sure why they didn't just do what the customer wanted done anyway.

They were amazing as usual. It took a little longer than it was supposed to but they still got it done on time! I got a new starter a tire rotation and alignment. The mechanic was great and explained any issues he came across which I appreciated. And the receptionists were very respectful, helpful and friendly! I appreciate you guys.

I can’t say enough good things about David and the team at Firestone! I had a flat tire and came in just 30 minutes before closing, fully expecting to be turned away. Instead, they welcomed me in, took care of everything quickly, and were so kind and professional throughout the whole process. David went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and back on the road, and I’m so grateful for their amazing customer service. Highly recommend this location, they truly care about their customers!

Extremely Disappointed – Longtime Customer Let Down in Baltimore I’ve been a loyal Firestone customer for years, but unfortunately, both Baltimore locations I’ve tried since moving here have been beyond disappointing. I had a 12:00 PM appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I arrived early at 11:45 AM and stood waiting 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. My keys weren’t taken until 12:05 PM—and my car sat untouched in the lot until after 1:00 PM. I finally left around 3:05 PM… for a basic service that should’ve taken no more than an hour. Worse than the delay was the lack of basic automotive knowledge. A young technician, who was clearly inexperienced, didn’t know my vehicle (a Lincoln Town Car) had an air ride suspension. Rolling it onto a lift without disabling the system can cause serious damage. He also ignored my explicit instruction not to roll down the windows due to fresh tint—and did it anyway. When I mentioned the oil indicator wasn’t reset, I had to grab David, who literally had to Google how to reset it. David explained that “C-level operators” handle simple oil changes—yet this clearly wasn’t handled properly, and this is a $115 service. To top it off, he casually mentioned a coolant leak on my way out, which felt more like an upsell attempt than a helpful observation. Firestone used to feel trustworthy because of the supposed certification and experience of their team. After this, I no longer feel confident in the brand, at least not in Baltimore. Do yourself a favor—read the reviews first. I wish I had. TL;DR. -Won’t be returning to this location.

The number is 007005 I purchased 4 tires.i made it clear to the customer service that I didn't want the white letters showing outside on the tires.i noticed when the mechanic had it on the front alignment that the tires was not placed the way I asked them to and I said something to David the store manager and he mentioned it to the mechanic to change them at that point I think that's when they damage my rims as you see in the picture of my rims are damaged and I feel the store or the owner should compensate me for the damage especially the money that I spent on them tires I will not recommend anybody to that store location I feel it's a lot of talking less working with the mechanics doing there job. I called the store and talk to the store manager David he asked me to send him some pictures I have not gotten the response back I appreciate if somebody can reach out and help me with this problem
