I took my 2017 Hyundai Tucson to these professional and kind people. I had a break light that went out and my husband said while he gets the food I should find an auto repair shop, I choose Framerite the customer service was extremely wonderful. The waiting area was so cool it was like stepping into a man cave that us women would love to at least I know that I enjoyed it. They fixed my car with no problem and gave me a loaner car while we waited for the end result. 11/18/25 I had a mechanic put on my compressor and in the process sabotage several engine components. The Framerite mechanics fixed everything in record time and explained in detail what was done at the other shop. I will never trust anyone except them again! This other garage(not naming), did close to $3000 worth of damage to fix my car. If you want a trusted mechanic go to Frameite!

I recently took my 2019 Toyota Camry LE to them,after failing MD Emissions Test. They charged me far less than Jerry's Toyota. Jerry's Toyota wanted $3500 + Labor to fix the problem. Framerite Auto Repair charged me $917, and I passed Emissions Test with no problem. There are a few auto repair shops in my community, but I'm impressed with the customer service, and communication through out the whole process. I RECOMMEND FRAMERITE AUTO SERVICE for your auto repair needs. Hands Down !!!

I was told there was metal on my dipstick and that I had internal engine problems after trying to get an oil change; I was refused service because of “liability”. I do understand I was 10k miles over the recommendation, however, I brought it in to another mechanic shop and got a second opinion they just told me the oil was very low and they recommend that I get an oil treatment. This was my second time here the first was calm, but this go around was odd. I had sent a friend of mine to get their car maintenance because she had a spark plug issue and she was also refused service for some odd reason. Not everything is about race but its clear they service a certain demographic. Reply To Framerite: When I mentioned certain demographics, I was not referring to race. You chose to assume that. I was referring to the wealthy demographic, as it is clear your business prioritizes customers and vehicles that yield higher profit margins. As for my friend, she simply requested to use her own parts for a repair and was turned away because your shop does not allow that, which is your policy, but does not justify the dismissive tone that followed. About my 2017 Sentra, I had my engine and transmission inspected after our encounter, and no issues were found, unfortunately. When I asked your attendant if there was anything I could do to ensure my vehicle’s performance, I was turned away without being offered a diagnostic or even a paid inspection. If your position is that I neglected maintenance, then liability would rest with me as the consumer, not with your shop. Your responsibility as a mechanic is to provide recommendations and solutions, not assumptions and defensiveness.

If I could post 10 stars I would, exceptional service from David. Being from the car industry, it’s not a lot of “Mechanics” who could achieve such a praise. Very very honest and professional, not to mention informative! If you have a Chevy, ask for Art! Best mechanic I’ve seen! Gotta engine replaced and saved me some money!

Got my grandmother’s vehicle towed in to get my front end inspected after seeing that the upper and lower ball joints were coming apart. I had very high expectations of this place after hearing nothing but good things from colleagues and other reviews. I got a ride to Parkville to pick the car up only to find out they gave me the wrong combination for the lockbox where the keys were. Spent about 20 minutes trying to get that damn thing open. I had called them after that and they had told me I should’ve tried a completely different combination that they neglected to tell me before. After picking the car up the next day I noticed the doors to the car were left unlocked, and the location around the shop isn’t known for its safety. I looked at the RO and saw that they had only replaced the lower ball joints and an idle arm. Gave the shop a call and asked if they had inspected the upper ball joints and they said they saw nothing wrong with them. Very progressive of them for hiring blind technicians. They had offered to take another look at it but the shop is 40 minutes away from where I live. I appreciate the shop trying to make it right but it’s too much of a hassle on my part to take it there again. Edit: after looking at the nuts and washers holding the upper ball joint onto the control arm from the top, it looks like somebody undid those nuts for adjusting the alignment. Now how they didn’t see ANYTHING WRONG with those ball joints is beyond me. I am beyond livid at the terrible job these guys did. 60+ years in business and nothing to show for it.

Customer service was great. Explaining what was going on and how to correct/fix the issues was phenomenal. Not trying to push on overcharge for repair service. Communication about my vehicle was superb!

This has been my second time coming to Framerite and both times they have given me great service and advice on my vehicle. I'll be returning to get more work done in the near future.

Ms. Jackson, I am sorry your experience wasn't what you expected. I am certain that any issues were not related to your gender or race. As a proud Black woman myself, I can attest to Framerite's courteous and honest service. I've been a customer for years, and recently, they even identified a potential problem during a routine oil change for my new vehicle, saving me a significant expense. The dealer is now covering the repairs. I hope you were able to get your car fixed as well. Be blessed.

Im a woman and i believe these guys got over on me. They gave me an extensive laundry list of issues that was wrong with my car and a hefty price that I would have to cover out of pocket. I explained to the company that I had an extended car warranty that they claimed they'd work with. However, this company did not want to work with my extended warranty but, instead wanted to charge almost double for the labor. They did not want to negotiate on the price of labor not even am inch, they did not want to use the parts that my extended warranty wanted to purchase for my vehicle instead they wanted to use their overpriced parts instead. I was having my car towed and was less than 3 minutes away and I explained that to them prior to the AAA tow that was towing my car. They were very unprofessional towards the AAA guy also, shouted at him saying"she did not pày yet so, we can't give you the car". After, I spoke with them informing them that I was 3 minutes away to pay as well as to have my vehicle towed. The AAA also stated that they were nasty and was saying awful things about my vehicle. I honestly belive that all of the above happened because, I was a woman, I was black and I wasn't too knowledgeable about cars. I will not take any vehicle that I have back there again. The guys looked me in my eyes and lied to me but, its my fault because I was believing that they wanted to help and would give me quality work. Life is the best teacher and I'm learning everyday quality over over quantity and that my character, skin color and what I know plays a large factor in the service I receive.

Frame Rite is a rare find - excellent, honest service! I was driving my aunt’s car to Florida for her permanent move and felt a shimmy in the steering wheel the day before leaving for Florida. Frame Rite got the car into the shop, fixed the rear brakes and had the car ready for the trip the next day. My entire family has relied on Frame Rite for nearly 20 years! They provide great service, reasonable costs and always honest about what your vehicle needs when you take it in for service!

I'm completely satisfied with the service I received, the representative upfront was very professional and knowledgeable and the mechanics did a great job repairing my truck.

Great experience with Joe. Honest and reliable mechanics. I brought my car in for an AC issue and they quickly found a blown fuse. They replaced it, recharged the freon, and had everything done the same day. Total was $120 with no diagnostic fee. I bring all my cars here for service and tire changes and they always take good care of me…

Got my 2010 Honda Odyseey AC fixed. First time recharged and put in a dye just in case some leakage. In a few days turned out a hose was super old. Got it replaced and recharged again. Working perfectly. Down to earth, reasonable prices, get the job done quickly. Highly recommend!

Was upset -- steering wheel was rattling and shaking and rear made loud rattling at high speeds. Terrible day -- my sister was going into hospice in heart failure, maybe was at the end of life. The guys were so kind & understanding as well as doing an excellent job on my car. They let me use a loaner Corolla to get to the hospital while my car was in shop. Actually did a test drive as requested.. Diagnosed & repaired. Explained to me fully. Didn't pressure me to bring back loaner and pick up car until after meeting with nurse that day. I was told, "Family comes first." It was an expensive repair (over $800), but not out of line comparably. They ID'ed and fixed a bad problem in a day and went above & beyond to be helpful during my emergency. I highly recommend Framerite on Harford Rd.

Love Love Love this place!! Brought my car in on Memorial Day weekend and I just knew they would be long winded. They weren’t I got my vehicle back Tuesday. Way faster than expected. Disappointed After $2,000 Coolant Repair Still Leaked I paid over $2,000 to have a coolant leak fixed at this shop. After the repair, the leak never fully stopped—just slowed down. When I brought the car back, I was told it’s now leaking from a heater hose and was quoted another $500. To me, this feels like either the original diagnostic was incomplete or the shop failed to catch something they should’ve seen. For a repair that expensive, I expected a full pressure test and confidence that the cooling system was solid. Very disappointed with the lack of accountability. I gave them a chance to make it right, but was met with another bill. Would not recommend without full transparency and second opinions.

The customer service is top tier from the pleasant conversation to the follow ups, shuttle pick up. Framerite's manager Dave was friendly, professional and accommodating. All services were completed as requested and timely. The pricing was reasonable. The facility is clean. I misunderstood something about my car and the mechanic William was very reassuring and patient. I will be back.

I can’t recommend Framerite enough! The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I truly trust them with my car. My friend recommended this shop and I was very pleased by Framerite’s quality of work and professionalism. They took the time to explain what they were doing, why it was necessary and answer any questions I had. Although their prices were higher than most shops I’m still satisfied by the quality of work and my car is driving better. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Joe was very professional, and helpful booking my appointment. He quickly had my frame inspected. While I did not have them do the repair work, I would like to point out Joe's professionalism.

Had my truck to framerite for work to be done. They checked out my20yo truck and gave an honest evaluation of the many problems that showed up. The manager took the time to explain the problems and cost. I valued the honesty and directness. I will be a lifetime customer.

I am a repeat customer with Framerite and plan to continue to be one. They service my 2006 Toyota, 2014 Honda and 1967 Mustang. To some they may appear to charge more than others but when you consider the high quality of work and the. extra effort they make I find them to be very reasonable and in fact an excellent bargain.
