They tell me im unable to schedule an appointment for a tire rotation but i have to wait for every other appointment and hope one cancels before my work can be done the manager Eli said i could wait for 7am to 7pm if one doesn't cancel. im 2 hours in when i talk to the auto manager Eli and he walks away because his manager called for him even though we were still talking and nothing has been sorted

I set up my appointment 2weeks in advance for my oil change, I came into the shop, waited for 30mins, no call,no text only to find out the part needed is not available.No apologies made, The technician moved on to the next vehicle.Unacceptable.

I would like to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service at the Walmart Tire Center in Middle River, Maryland. Ms. Phyllis is truly exemplary in her role at the front desk. Even when faced with difficult or impatient customers, she remains calm, kind, and accommodating. She carries herself like a caring but firm mom who keeps everything running smoothly. Her professionalism and warmth make a stressful situation much easier for customers. I would also like to give an honorable mention to Trey. He is consistently helpful and knowledgeable. Even during busy periods, he takes the time to explain what’s going on, answers questions clearly, and provides solid recommendations. That level of customer care does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated. Overall, the team does an excellent job. I would encourage customers to please be patient—this is a tire center, not a fast-food counter, and quality service takes time. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to consider adding at least one more staff member to handle phone calls during peak hours. I had a disappointing experience at this Auto Center on 12.12.25. I bought two tires online from Walmart and paid for installation here. I arrived on time but waited at least 15 minutes before being helped. I specifically requested that my new tires be installed in the front, that the fairly new front tires be moved to the rear, and that the old rear tires be disposed of. However, they surprisingly discarded the front tires and left old ones in their place. When I asked for the rear tires to be replaced, the Service Manager was rude and unprofessional. I felt stranded and had to take my tires back myself. Strangely, they charged me for tire disposal even though they didn’t dispose of anything. I will never return to this place and advise others to avoid it.

I will say this you want a shop that have your wellbeing and the safety of your vehicle their concern to make sure you are coming out the shop SAFE. Then this is the shop supervisor Courtney and shop tech Shawn did just that!!! They were extremely nice and when the tech came out he explained in detail why it wasn’t gonna be able to be done and offered solutions to be able to get it done right away when I came back . These are the people that should be in all shops instead of those pay check by paycheck people where they are just there for the money and don’t care about safety and wellbeing. I recommend this Walmart location specifically because of this they are very nice. I recommend you have tech shawn and Acc supervisor Courtney work on your vehicles anytime. I will be coming back in a week for my oil change and can’t wait!!😃😃😃

disorganized, dropped my car off for an oil change at 8:30am and they leave me a voicemail while i’m at work that says they can’t start till i confirm it? i dropped my car off for the oil change?? why would i want it done?? and now i can’t even get a hold of the auto care center to tell them to work on my car. this place sucks everyone here is rude or clueless or both

Worst tire buying experience of my life. I ordered tires and paid for installation online (great price). No one at the store could drive a manual transmission. While on my way to move the car into the bay, they cancelled my installation appointment. I had to get the store manager involved. It took over 4 hours to complete and when complete, they tried to charge a higher installation fee than contracted online. I got management involved again, but by then I had wasted over 5 hours.

Go elsewhere they’re very unprofessional. They talk to you like you’re stupid. I went in there driving from out of state to get my oil changed as a walk-in. So I walked in to see if they’re able to take walk-ins at the moment the young man said yes, 45 to an hour He has not said, not guarantee that it will be taken care of so in that situation. It’s already the employees. Anyhow, I waited at two hours walk around Walmart. I got there around 8 AM. It’s almost 1030. When I got to the cashier at the auto center, the older lady told me she is not taking any walk-ins only by appointments while I was told that I was able to be seen in an hour If there was no guarantee guaranteed and was provided the right information from the beginning when I walked in, I will understand and let them make appointment Anyways, they take my car inside started to change the oil then they come out to me, saying they don’t have to filter that I had to go to auto zone to buy the filter no problem very unprofessional and then the mechanic talk to me like I’m a retard saying OK you need to go to the AutoZone OK and then you need to do this OK and make sure you call them and make sure they have the filter OK like I’m stupid or something Mind you I had a baby with me the whole time And then after I buy the filter, they try to tell me that they cannot change my oil cause they don’t have the right tool for it and then here I am waste all this time about to call somewhere else to change my mind about the time I get off the phone with some other shop, they tried to tell me all they found a tool part to take the Filter out out of this I only got a $25 takeoff my order which I think I should’ve just got compensated for the whole Thing I think this is the last Walmart anybody should go to I had my cool just because I have my child but there’s no way for all this to happen and I’m not the only customer that was upset

I got an oil change there with synthetic oil. I was charged for 5qt. After fewer than 3000 miles my car starts rattling. Took the car to jiffy lube thinking it was the transmission fluid since I should have about 2000+ miles left on my last oil change. Jiffy lube says it's not the transmission fluid, but that the oil level was so low that it didn't register on the dipstick. I have no oil leaks. Jiffylube also said oil filter looked way older than 3000 miles. Called Walmart and they said that they put in 5qt "or more" and that even with synthetic oil it should be changed at 3000 miles. Again, I was under 3000 miles and the level wasn't registering on the dipstick. Take your car there at your own risk.

Don't go here, in fact avoid all Walmarts for tires. I went in to replace two tires, half an hour later I get a call that there is an issue with the lig nuts on my vehicle and I need to come back. So I walk back to the service center, they tell me I need new lug nuts. However, they don't have any, and I need to walk to the nearest auto parts store buy them, and bring them back. I'm 60, with a partial back disability. So.nkw I'm walking in the rain, on a cold day, with a disability to the nearest auto parts store for parts, then back again to the service center with the luggage nuts. By the time I returned, I was in a lot of pain and having problems walking. When I received my vehicle back 40 minutes later, the tires were obviously slapped on in a hurry. Sealant was smeared all over the tires, and the hub cap wasn't properly on. I contacted corporate who told me that they don't stock parts in order to give their customers low cost tires and service. Their tires.and service are not lower than the other service centers in the area. Don't take you vehicles here, especially if you dont want to walk to the nearest auto part store to get the supplies they need.

I just had my flat tire repaired at the Walmart in Middle River. It took a little longer for them to fix it but all that extra time was definitely with hard work and dedication. They worked past hours and tried three different tires to make sure they found the right one and I was safe to get back on the road. They were also very communicative during the process. Nate, Trey, Courtney & Marcus were absolutely great and I will be bringing my car back for future services.

Nope. No. Never again. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here... Purchased 4 new tires to be installed & an oil change. Was told 45 minutes to an hour. It ended up taking TWO hours. The employees were running around the shop acting like kids the whole time. Very unprofessional, unorganized establishment. I will not be returning to this Walmart. I really hope the service was done right & nothing goes wrong like other reviewers have stated.

Yesterday I came in today to get my tire mounted. I waited for a whole hour just to get a notification that my appointment got cancelled and this dark skin heavy set lady came out and I told her about the text I received and she got smart and said I called you but no one answered. First of all that is a bold face lie my phone never rang nor did I get a voicemail from Walmart indicating why my appointment was cancelled. Then when I was leaving I came across the Clerk Shawn at first he completely ignored my existence and geared the conversation towards my fiancé and he proceeded to give him MY keys to MY CAR so I stepped up and said that would be my car and took the key fob and as I was putting it on he tried asking if I remembered him from high school first of all that was ten years ago and what you not going to do is ignore me then turn around and say oh do you remember me? I tried to let this go because it’s a holiday but I don’t like when people lie to me and then be smart about it I will be contacting the BBB.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Purchased 800 dollar tires and paid 120 bucks for installation a week in advance. No where does there website or app say I need to be there within 15 minutes of my scheduled time. I live 30 plus minutes from the Walmart and had a sick family member I was attending to. I arrived at 9:25 for a 9-10 window. Was turned away almost immediately while no cars where in the bay and the tire techs were all outside smoking cigarettes. Completely unprofessional, unacceptable and lazy. I should’ve known what I was in store for purchasing from Walmart. They already treat you like a criminal checking recipients and bags at the door. I will never recommend Walmart to anyone. Go to Mr. Tire.

I will NEVER come to this auto center again. I bought 4 tires and had them replaced on 7/28/2024 at this center. While driving on 695 to get to work on 7/30/2024, My car was shaking so bad that it felt I was in a tractor trailer and I drive a damn Sedan. I called the center on 7/30/2024 to let them know about what was happeneing and they said to come back that day so they can rebalance the car. For what felt like maybe 10mins, I see that my car is no longer in the gargage. I walk out of the waiting room and waitied by the register for an associate to come but instead it was one of the mechanics. He asked me which car am I waiting for and I let him know. He gave me my keys and just said I recommened that you get an aligment but mentioned nothing about my car being over balanced or about the balance in general. While I am driving home from Walmart (which is only about 10-15 mins away), My car was STILL SHAKING even at 45 mph. I scheduled an appointment with my dealership for them to check out whats wrong the next day 7/31/2024 and they let me know that Walmart had over balanced my car and had about 7-8 weights on my tires which is used mostly for trucks. This would explain why I felt like I was a in a tractor trailer. I have tried calling the auto center to speak with the manager about this issue and the phone just ring and rings. DO NOT take your vehicle to this center.

So let me start off by saying the only reason why they are getting an additional star is because Phyllis is wonderful and is in no way attached to my problem. She was great in scheduling my appointment and even listed all available times. The problem was when I got there 5 minutes before by appointment time (8:00am). It seems like they over book or don't prioritize appointments. I wasnt able to be quoted for an approximate time work would begin nor finish. I only have one day off a week and dont have another means for transportation. The "other" lady that works at the counter is incredibly rude and doesn't deserve to be in customer service. Very dismissive and talks over you while your talking. Not a fan of these type of people. My appointment didn't get started until 10:45 am. The communication at this place is very disconnected and can't fault any one particular person on the process. The one person that can be blamed in this situation is the one that ultimately made it worse. Second and last time I'll be returning. I'll try Dundalks.

Oh boy, strap in for this tire-adventure! So, I roll up to this place, ready for a tire swap. Guess what? They were missing the right socket for my wheel. Like, seriously? I half-expected them to whip out a butter knife and suggest we give it a try. I play handyman, offering them the perfect socket from my own tool box, and they hit me with the classic "Sorry, we have commitment issues with outside tools." Sorry we arent gonna be able to do your tires today! Next up, the oil change drama unfolds. I opt for regular oil, and suddenly they act like I just asked for a gallon of unicorn tears. "No can do, sir. Only full synthetic in this joint!" I decide to bail on the oil change, and what do you know? The oil change gods decide to bless their pump, and suddenly, they're oil change works again. Must be a magical pump! In conclusion, if you enjoy tire mishaps, tool commitment issues, and oil change pump miracles, this place is your one-stop-shop for unexpected comedy. Save your time and money, go elsewhere for a tire and oil change.

Went in to get a battery and four associates where in the little room gabbing while there was a line of people waiting to be waited on. Finally all four came out and still were talking and ignored all of us. Then the manager opened her mouth and ask if everyone had an appointment. Some said yes and some said no. The ones that said no she told to come to the register to be waited on. While still having their conversation amongst them. Soooo rude. You are on the clock wait on customers first!

Went in today to have a flat tire repaired or replaced. Was told replacement was necessary, that's fine I was not shocked. Unfortunately, they did not have a part that was necessary to do the job. Seems to be a regular thing with them, they either don't have the part, or it takes hours to do even the simplest job because they are either inadequately or incompetently staffed. I hear they are phasing out the auto centers-good riddance, do us all a favor please. Anyways, they sent me over to the Dundalk auto care center, which is where it gets real good. Surf on over to their reviews for that part of the story!

They say it’s walk-in but it’s not. You can’t make an appointment for an oil change, so call before you make the drive and waste gas to see if they are actually doing oil changes. They service appointments first (you can’t make an appointment for an oil change). If they have time for you after hours of appointments, they’ll try to fit you in, except someone may make an appointment on line. I wasted gas and time. Because this place was not close, I agreed to wait. The woman at intake told me it’s up to me if I want to waste my Sunday waiting on an oil change.

Called first thing in the morning to schedule an appointment to put a tire on for me. They said they don't schedule appointments, you just come in but we are behind right now and to come back between 11-12. So I take off work to drive 30 minutes up there for a tire just for them to tell me they aren't taking any more customers unless they have an appointment! Wasteof my time and gas

Arrived at 7am for an oil change. I requested windshield washer fluid and Debbie said that was not an issue. Hour later, I pay and walk outside. The mechanic doesn't remove any of the plastic out of the car and tells me he is out of windshield washer fluid. So I go inside to purchase some and Debbie gives me a free bottle. I appreciate that, but when I open my hood there is a wrench laying on top of the engine. I checked the filter with my hand and it was loose. Oil spilled all over the engine and oil cap. I returned the wrench, but will not be returning to this Auto Care Center.

Came in Monday for two new tires. Tires weren’t balanced properly. I brought it back again on Thursday to have it balanced. Balance is just as bad, if not worse, and my front end is also making a ticking sound now. I’m supposed to come in for a third visit so they can “take care of it”. I’ll take it in again on Monday, when I’m available to waste more of my free time, and hope the third time is the charm. Cannot recommend this place to anyone currently. Which is a shame because they have done a good job in the past. Update: I went for the third time and the balance still wasn’t good. I gave up. Now here we are, 8 months later, and the steel belt is showing on my left front tire. Waste of time, waste of money, and damaging to my vehicle. What will they do about this? Probably nothing. Lost my business. Going somewhere else in the future.

It was my first time using Walmart auto care at the Carroll Island Walmart . I Went in to get all 4 tires changed with the added insurance on each tire. The wait time was a little over an hour which was expected ,the waiting room was clean and the chairs were socially distanced. Ms.Debbie the front desk manager ( I assume that’s her title , I apologize if I’m incorrect ) was VERY friendly , informative and honest. I really appreciated her hospitality! I’m giving 4 stars due to my appointment not being properly scheduled which was NOT Ms.Debbie’s fault at all. I came in earlier in the week in person to schedule my appointment and an older gentleman who was also friendly “ scheduled” my appointment via iPad. Unfortunately, upon my arrival my appointment wasn’t found in the system but Ms.Debbie was still able to accommodate me and I was able to keep my 8:00am slot that I had originally scheduled earlier in the week. Besides that minor hiccup everything else during my time there went smoothly. I intend to return to the Auto Care Center Caroll Island in the future for all my tire related services.I felt for services & tire purchase that everything was fairly priced. Just a bit odd that if you want to keep any of your original tires they don’t return the tire WITH the wheel . JUST the tire itself which kinda defeats the purpose of using it as a “spare” I only had it removed so I can have insurance on all 4 tires and not just 3 but , like I’ve said that’s what the insurance I purchased purpose is to cover any tire damage. Overall , I am happy!

I went there for oil change. Just before oil change my cigarette lighter was working I charged the phone to show directions and the next day after the oil change when tried to charge the phone cigarette lighter doesn't work the fuse is intact. When I examined further I found they changed the cigarette lighter. I see the dash board panel is opened.

My daughter had an oil change there the first time. The second time her car was running rough. She checked her oil at work and no oil on dip stick. She added oil. She took it back and they she had leaking drain plug. They replaced the drain plug and gave her a free oil change. This all happened within 3 weeks of oil change. Make the long story short. They don't document nothing as what they replace. No millage indicated. This has been total negligence on there part. Now her motor is shot. They finally took responsibility for there actions. It cost over 4,000 dollars for another motor and install. We only had this car for three months. I will never take my car there for oil changes. I would suggest this to you. Better off going to Mr. Tire. Believe me they tried to put the drain plug on me. This car was fine before they got there hands on it. They tried to cover it up but I'm smarter than that!

The man at the front desk isnt's welcoming or really friendly at all. Acts like he'd rather you not be there or ask a question. He also typed incorrect information in the computer about tires I was purchasing. Luckily, the mechanic caught it. It takes 2-3 hours for a simple oil change. The bad service along with long wait times make it worth it to me to take my vehicle somewhere more expensive.
