Mikel and Jasmine at the office are amazing! The helped me in a rush situation get moved in next day after visiting. Ernesto in maintenance is great. He took my move in list and made everything right. So happy I moved here. Between the staff and view of the golf course, I couldn’t be happier!!!

The apartment itself is spacious for the price. I did have a lot of problems while I lived here. My dishwasher broke and it took 9 weeks to repair and when maintenance repaired it they didn’t connect the water hose and ran it while I was away so when I came back my apartment was flooded and emergency maintenance did not answer the phone. When they contracted someone to fix the water damage two men came with tools that had the tags on them still and were in the ace hardware bag with the receipt. I also moved out on the 1st and received a bill but I was removed from the online payment app. I called the apartment to find out how to pay the bill and was notified on the 3rd that it was sent to collections. There was also a neighbor who would yell inappropriate words at women and when I reported the apartment number and instance the office said they would not do anything unless I recorded it. After that there was another instance of someone in the garbage that I took a picture of but the office said it was not their property so they would not take any action. I had packages stolen from my porch and the office said they were not responsible. The apartment is nice if you don’t need any maintenance requests. There were a few requests I put in that no action was taken as the maintenance team said they could not fix the problem. There was also a serious crime while I lived here on 12/26/24 and the apartment gave no indication there was an active situation. I didn’t find out until I googled the apartment a year later.

Do NOT move here!!! Cars are continually broke into, women get beat up in the parking lot, maintenence gets a order and they constantly close them out. New management is turned over ever couple months, Parking lot is trashed, dog park is disgusting etc..... run as fast as you can!!!

Jasmine, Anna and Ernesto were so helpful and flexible with my move out. Made it really easy, and helped me with a seamless move out. They were flexible with my circumstances and went above and beyond to help me handle the list of things that could come with moving. Great place to live. :)

I recently moved in The South Pointe at South Mountain I was greeted with a warm & happy smile by Jasmine. She’s professional & kind. Answered all of my many questions. Although I will not be moving in due to a job change, I wanted to write a review to express my great experience with Jasmine. Jasmine was super knowledgeable about the property and the move in process. She was inviting and engaging. Would definitely recommend this place to call home. The images they have are made to look a lot nicer than actual apartments. Toured here and it would be ok for some but is definitely run down. And for the price you are going to pay per month after all fees, you might as well go somewhere nicer. There is no assigned a parking, looks like homeless are staying in their cars in the parking lot. Extremely run down. Staff was nice but you can tell they are really trying to push people to moving in and now I see why. I was really excited to view but was definitely disappointed.

I lived here a little over 2 years and maintenance was terrible. Management terrible. I was called 2 months after moving out staying they coming to complete my work order. I cleaned the apartment before moving out and was still charged a $135 fee saying it’s an automatic charge unless I provide a receipt from a professional cleaning company I also never received any of my deposit back and it’s been 2 months. When calling manager they refused to put them on the phone or return my calls DONT RENT HERE

Shawn the maintenance guy was very fast and thorough. I appreciate his skill level as well as his friendly demeanor. The ladies in the leasing office are also a pleasure to work with.

**DO NOT RENT HERE IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD** The management and front office team are horrible. After you pay your move in fee and get your keys they no longer care about you becoming a new resident. They pretend and act like they're going to be attentive to the needs in your apartment but its just an act. The communication is horrible nobody ever knows whats going including the manager. I just moved in at the end of September and I regret it AC didn't work and water flooded the living and the AC didn't get fixed until 2weeks into me getting my keys. And still the front door base has not been fixed/replaced as promised by maintenance and the front office. Find somewhere else to live nothing but a headache since I moved in

Lived there for 8 years, and finally got out. Management change, after manager change, things just got worse. We were told over and over that things would be fixed. Yet we showered with a hole in the ceiling with a garbage bag taped to it for 9 months, until move out. The front door was falling apart and wouldn't seal properly and water would come through. The floor peels and rips constantly. Our sink handle stayed broken. The cabinets are particalboard and the paint was just slapped on top meaning it was impossible to wipe them due to the texture. They also were constantly crumbling. Management is more concerned with what decorations you have outside, or having string lights on your patio, than the condition of your apartment. We also CONSTANTLY delt with ants in just about every room. One day there were THOUSANDS of ants in and on our oven, and all over our kitchen. They come from the walls, a crack in the baseboards, from the door, and so much more. We had to constantly buy traps and bait, and when pest control finally came they agreed that they are IN the walls. Nothing was actually fixed before we moved out. Wonder if that hole is still in the ceiling... They also charged us for a random fee that they sent to collections. We paid our last utilities and rent, and even the collection agent couldn't find what the extra fee was for. Y'all had no idea we had even been living there for 8 years because every time management changed, information was wiped. Whoever the landlord is for the actual complex sucks just as much as the management companies they choose.

Been here for a hot minute and I rarely need to get in contact with the leasing people up front but when I need to it’s always such an easy and smooth interaction. Jasmine is amazing and always makes you feel like the small things are so important to get fixed and never makes me feel like a bother. Very kind and patient.

They will lost the document with your ssn and do nothing. When you end the lease and have money due to pay, they will assign a company in New York to pursue the payment, filing the credit report. And even if you pay it off soon, the credit report all of sudden come up again after 3yrs

I’ve been living here for a few years now and I rarely seem to have issues with anything in my apartment. Recently I did have a big issue with an appliance in the unit and I was pretty stressed about it. But the issue got resolved with the swiftness by Jovany. He went the EXTRA mile and was able to get me a brand new appliance to resolve the matter swiftly. Very professional, kind and empathic. This place is lucky to have someone like him working here!?

Overall it’s. Beautiful apartment location nice and quiet. Mikel is a very professional worker and she got me and my three sons in with no problem and made the move in process very easy and comfortable. I highly request her if you come here to apply.

DO NOT rent here. Please look at the yelp reviews for more info. I promise you this place deserves -5 stars. Me and my partner have had to deal with ants, to mold, to not being accommodated to then being threatened, to not fixing our washer, to the AC going out and only getting fixed because of a bad review to then NOW ANTS AGAIN! They don’t fix maintenance issues and leave u to deal with it. They don’t care about the tenants and clearly the community manager and the owner only care about your money. This place is a mess. Do not rent unless ur desperate.

Jasmin in the leasing office helped us get into our place with ease. She was so helpful and I genuinely enjoyed her customer service. We are now happily sleeping in our new apartment because of her!

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. The apartments themselves are nice enough, but the moment something is broken, forget about it. You live that way now, learn to adapt to it. This complex expects you to pay your rent on time but the favor of fixing anything in your apartment is non existent to them. What's worse is maintenance will immediately change your ticket to 'in progress' and no one will come by to fix anything at all. It's like they are trying to hit their monthly quotas or something. Maintenance has reassured me numerous times their lead time is 2 days, but all of winter I had a broken water heater, so I showered in the cold. I had to go into the office and basically yell for someone that day to get anything fixed. 2 months ago my garbage disposal broke, and it made my apartment reek, again I had to wait a month for no one to show up until again I had to go into the office to complain and require assistance that day to get anything done about it. Currently I am without AC, in the middle of the summer, and again they changed my ticket to 'in progress' and no one has come to check on it. Fool, me once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you. You're not fooling me a third time. This feels like much of what I have to deal with my entire time here. UPDATE: Had to resort to legal action for anything to get done. I let them enter my house while I was at work. I come back to an unlocked door, the AC door hanging wide open to expose the AC components, and was told they left a portable AC with it no where to be found. What an absolute joke.

Had an amazing experience with Jasmine at the front desk today. I was very very tedious with what I wanted & she was super patient with me. I did show up without notice because I had some questions but she even made time to give me a tour of the places I was interested in. Jasmine was very detailed with each layout, & was very attentive with finding something that worked with my budget. She was super helpful with walking me through the application process as well as updating me on the documents I needed to send after completing the application. She held the most grace for me today & I can’t thank her enough. It was hands down one of the most easy, comfortable, interactions I’ve had when it’s come to moving. She overall made me feel seen. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been living in my new apartment for a month now, and I’m loving it! Jasmine W. in the leasing office has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire move-in process. She made everything so smooth and stress-free. My sister and I have really been enjoying the space, and what stands out the most is how amazing the maintenance team is. Jovany has been handling my work orders, and he’s always fast, efficient, and super nice! The response time for maintenance requests is impressively quick, which makes life here so much easier. Overall, it’s been a great experience so far, and I’m excited to continue calling this place home!

I want to post a review concerning my experience since moving here at "Point at South Mountain". I have now lived here a little over a month. My original unit I was supposed to move into was flooded, and the day prior to my move in I was notified of this inconvenience..They then pushed my move in date out a few days and moved me to a unit towards the back of complex, which was fine with me. This caused me to reschedule my movers and pay out of pocket for the inconvenience. I was then moved into an apartment that was not "move in" ready at all. I was missing blinds, my toilet was broken and had been running for an entire month, my dishwasher was not working properly, I have cracks all over my kitchen floor that was damaged by maintenance when they were attempting to fix my freezer. My faucets were loose and I could just pull the hot or cold faucet completely off. I had a leak under my kitchen sink...On top of this my kitchen light was broken as well. I had paint all over the bathroom floors. I am very professional and have sent emails about all of these issues, and I have been extremely patient as well. I originally put these requests through when I moved in on my move in checklist sheet. After no response from maintenance, I sent an email the week of May 8, and sent another 3 emails with pictures and videos showing the issues with the apartment I JUST moved into. I never got a response, still to this date. I've had to call in regards to following up and getting maintenance to fix these issues. This is what my newly renovated apartment looked like when I got my keys to my apartment. I posted a few pictures. I have videos of my sink leaking, and the toilet being broken but it won’t allow me to attach those here. I am upset I even had to leave this review. I tried to contact the front office plenty of times to get these issues resolved, (even though they should have been fixed when I moved in)... The front office won't work with me on rent or my water bill, even though they moved me into a tenant that doesn't have proper working appliances. I had to wash my dishes by hand for the first month, and my toilet was broken for a month, which caused my water to constantly be running all day and night. Please before you move in ask to see your unit and ensure everything is fixed. This is the first apartment in my 32 years where I have experienced something to this extent. It's been a horrible , distraught, and frustrating experience.

This beautiful apartment complex shares a street with an incredible resort. It's directly across the street from the golf course and well maintained! There are walkways close by and the complex has a beautiful pool near the office. The staff were somewhat kind and informative but could've been a bit more helpful. The tenant in front of me had mentioned a family emergency and a need to move out. Overall, they seemed accommodating in his situation and mentioned working with him in regard to finances. I was unable to squeeze in a tour but am looking forward to returning. The location is incredible!

horrible apartments. after move out, they kept our entire deposit and charged us $1,300 for repairs, the apartment was clean and no major repairs were needed. this place is clearly going broke and charge so many fees for nothing. no amenities, maintenance is nonexistent we had a broken dryer for months and then got it replaced with another broken dryer. there was so many holes that ants were coming in constantly, took maintenance months to show up for that too. my car also got tipped over by a truck because of how small the parking lot is. don’t move here they will take all your money with nothing to give back in return.

STAY AWAY! Unsafe environment with multiple shootings, a crack head (not a guess here- he had his crack pipe sitting next to him as he yelled at nothing) frequenting the dog park at all odd hours of the night, and the worst management in history. The management will tell you one thing, and then go against what they previously said. We’ve had numerous issues with the staff who do not know protocol, and management has had to come in and correct their wrong information, making us pay certain fines as the outcome. We’re dealing with multiple fines we were promised not to encounter that we’re now having to dispute. We’ve also had multiple car break-ins and we even had a truck get “bricked” in the parking lot. Please, for the sake of your safety and sanity, do not live here. It’s simply not worth it. Save yourself the headache and protect your family (and your wallet from random fees). I sure wish we did.

I never write reviews, but I really do not want anyone to go through what I have with this complex. Management does not handle issues. This has been my biggest issue. There are bugs and rat traps everywhere. Rats have been living in the engine of my car and chewing on the wires. Management just puts out more traps. AC does not work properly and needs to be looked at by maintenance twice a month. This also leads to extremely high electric bills from hot air pumping out of the unit. There was a flood in my apartment and emergency maintenance did not come until almost 10 hours after I had called regarding the 3-4 inches of water throughout my apartment and all they did was replace the pipe. There was no follow up from anyone. I was left to remove the water myself. There was also damage to the unit below mine that wasn't fixed for several days. There is a drug problem that management pretends does not exist. In addition, do not bother reaching out to the manager. She will dodge your phone calls, office visits, and emails like the plague. I tried to break my lease without being charged the move out fee and the manager failed to make it happen despite everything listed. After reaching out multiple times regarding apartment issues (with no response at all from the manager), the complex attorney emailed me and told me to discuss any additional issues with him. The manager is incapable of handling any issues and will not respond to residents. My move out date cannot come soon enough. I have attached images of the flood, rat traps, and constant garbage of others that becomes a part of where you live. Do not let the beautiful surroundings fool you. This complex is far from luxurious.
