I've been dealing with AAS for several years, and they seem to get the part that I can use, l can trust they can find them when l needed the hard to get parts.
I recently purchased some Luscombe lift struts from Arizona Air Salvage and they were spot on. I was a bit nervous about getting them to the UK from the US but it worked fine and having them inspected before purchase was well worth the peace of mind. I would have no hesitation about buying from Arizona Air Salvage again.
I bought a 172 elevator and a shimmy dampner . When the elevator arrived it was totally damaged . According to Johnny it arrived in a different crate than when they shipped it. Which turned out to be false after receiving pictures from shipping company. AAS also charged 500$ for the crate. Shimmy dampner was not in crate. With over $2000 dollars paid out and no help or refund from Arizona Air Salvage, I went to another supplier and got the parts and great service. Bought Aspen from them, and it came without necessary paperwork, even they told me they would do it for a fee but after I bought , they told me I have to do on my own and it would cost me more them new one, we lost money on shipping back ( return). PS: they encouraged me to buy outside of Ebay, I wish I would have purchased through Ebay, than we would not pay for return. Make sure you get all the info if you buy and double check with them, after you get it might not be as you think. For people like us we just want item with all legal paperwork, so we don’t have to face any problem. Never will buy used item again !
I have purchased a few items from these guys and they have been excellent to work with. The most recent purchase was a gauge that did not work when I installed it. Without any questions or hassle whatsoever, Johnny was able to go out and find another one for me. If he hadn’t been able to find one, I feel confident he would have refunded my money. I look forward to working with them again!
Received a damaged engine purchased from company suppose to be in working condition. After dealing with shipping company ARIZONA AIR SALVAGE made it right by paying for replacement parts.
Service is great, the crew there were extremely helpful and had all the parts I needed. Definitely recommend checking with this business for your aircraft parts.
I emailed and asked some questions and went by their location. Really helpful guys and went and found whatever I needed, even late on a Friday afternoon they had to check some aircraft for fuses and found them. They were great. Johnny is awesome. Thanks guys! Kevin
Not a good experience. Bought some gear struts because they told me they were good, did not work, shipped them back and they never gave my money back. Over a year now, they are always telling me next week.
1 starI purchased a door for a Beechcraft in the webshop, never received the door nor the promised refund. Very poor customer service. Hope somebody at air salvage will pick this up!
