This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
Based on recent reviews, Goddess scrap L.L.C in Phoenix, AZ earns an overall 82/100: generally high marks for friendly, respectful staff, quick processing, competitive payouts—some cite the best prices—and a tidy, easy-to-navigate scale/drop setup. Strengths: consistency with longtime customers, fair weighing, and speedy service. Common complaints: poor phone responsiveness, no copper quotes by phone, occasional price mismatches, mailed checks over $300 causing delays, wait times when busy, and mixed views on yard organization. Parts requests see uneven callbacks and hit-or-miss inventory.
What clients say about Goddess scrap L.L.C in Phoenix (AZ)
Great people. They were very helpful and gave me a very fair price for what I brought in. Will definitely be returning to them for my next scrap drop. Thank You!!!
I was looking for a yard to sell my copper. I found this place on Google & read their story. They are a women owned business & treated me with respect & not like a suckered to scam. They paid me VERY well, unlike the previous place I went to. This is my yard from now on. Thank you for a great experience & many more to come.
Got ripped off. Brought in and separated my own copper (clean vs dirty) and they did not accept my clean copper PLUS forgot to include a small square bucket I had w brass. Coming from the East side of Phoenix to this disappointing of service AND pay out.
The sharks of Grand ave, good for a quick buck but not returning business.
I have been scrapping metal about 20 years and over the years I have gone to several scrap yards around the valley but Goddess Scrap has been my go to for many years. The prices are important but being a woman they way I am treated it just as important and I have aways left feeling like I wasn't taken advantage of and many times I gain knowledge. They are not a fly by not company, they have been in business for years and being a family business you see familiar faces every time. Thank you guys for treating me right and you will continue to get my business!
Wonderful people. They are fast and the scrap yard is always clean. They dont bullshit around that's for sure. My husband loves going to them he goes often.great customer service
100% recommendation , Especially Riena for being helpful and honest. All employees are great workers ,and helpful .over all 100% and treat people how you want to be treated.
"we don't quote copper over the phone, but will price match when you out here."
just called to get the price pay out for copper by the pound and that's what they said. I like this place but that's what hot them only two stars.
I come here maybe once a year. They are always so helpful and fast. They have now gotten more sophisticated with technology in the office for checking out. That might have been awhile back like I said it's been a bit since my last visit. I believe they pay very competitively. Everyone is helpful and professional. In my opinion best place to take your recyclables in the valley. See you next year people.
I LOVE THIS PLACE THEY ARE FAIR AND HONEST THEY MISSED ONE OF MY WEIGHTS AND WHEN I TOLD THEM ABOUT IT SHE WENT BACK LOOKED ON HER CAMERAS AND CASH APP ME WHAT WAS OWED NO OTHER SCRAP YARD WOULD OF DONE THAT THEY WOULD OF SAID THEY DIDNT SEE NOTHING THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO 5 STARS FROM ME
Very unprofessional and dishonest employees. I called to inquire about current prices of steel and was given a price for ton. The price was a bit higher than the regular place I go to. When I arrived this location is always cluttered, unsafe and not well organized. I had to wait about 10 minutes just to be able to unload just to be rushed to hurry up and unload my truck. They don't offer any help and long waits but they expect me to hurry up. After unloading I had to wait another 15 minutes just to be told small scale to sell non ferrous items has new system and it's slow. Finally got done went to get paid and I noticed my receipt stated a lesser value of steel per ton than what I was told over the phone. Not only was I lied to about current prices but the long waits, unprofessional employees and overall bad experience I don't recommend this place.
The customer service was amazing and the friendly smiles were very welcoming and a special thanks to the cashier who took very good care of us. The perfect place to drop off your scraps. Happy New Years!!
Always have such a pleasant experience, all the workers are very frienfdly honest and very helpful!!! Been going here for years i come all the way from surprise just because the workers are all wonderful!!!!
Have recycled over the years and I must say the Goddess was the best experience by far. Very easy method to get to the scale and payout window. The hundred dollar bills were new and crisp too.
Chatting with one of the Goddesses at the scale was the highlights of my morning. What incredible attitudes and demeanor displayed around there.
Been doing business here for about 2 years, Johnny always makes sure I'm taken care of. The scale lines up with the drop point so you don't have to do a bunch of jockeying your trailer around (which is my favorite part) they also have the best payouts for your materials in town.
First off I’ll say that the owner of this place is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. She also pays the fairest prices on scrap in the state. This is the only place I go. The staff is the best. Reyna is the lady who normally works the scale and is very knowledgeable and doesn’t try to short you on anything like many other places in the area do. This last visit I made Jose Luis on the forklift saw struggling to push a flat cart with batteries and wire loaded up and hollered at me to hold tight so he could come help with the forklift. I’m glad he did cause the cart was 1130lbs once we got it on the scale and was kicking my butt. The staff at Goddess scrap is typically the same people for years now and they always have a good attitude and go above and beyond to help no matter whom I’ve had the pleasure to work with any time I’ve gone. Best prices in town, and staff that’s there for years who are always willing to help and have great attitudes says something about the owner and how amazing the owner is.
I have been a customer for years now and the whole operation as well as the employees are the best. I would like to extend my sincere thank you to Reyna for always being prompt and courteous with my crew. Rita the owner is always there working above and beyond to make every client feel welcomed. Bring your metal, copper, and all your recycles to them. You won't be disappointed as they also price match with any of their competitors. Thanks.
Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. They have the best prices I've seen anywhere in town. I drive all the way from Buckeye to go here. Although the yard is small, it is very accessible, even with a large trailer. I had a great experience with them and I will definitely be returning.
From what I see they try to keep their prices as high, or higher than most others. They are friendly and efficient. They won't pencil whip you either-they pay you for what u bring in. Compared to some other yards I've been to, I give Goddess a 5 star rating.
