About a week later, I returned with another vehicle to have a rear brake light repaired and a sensor reinstalled in the bumper (thanks to a determined two-year-old!). Went to get my clutch worked on Ashton and his team were very friendly and informative they let me know what they were doing every step of the way and worked with me to keep everything budget friendly but also making sure I was able to drive safe. I had my tires serviced at Discount Tire. During the process, two wheel studs were broken. It happens. They referred me to Half Price Auto on 19th Ave and said they would take care of it at no cost to me.

I first spoke with Ashton, who said the repair could take as little as 30 minutes or up to three hours. I left the car and walked back to work. Ryan later called to let me know the car was ready and even offered to bring it to me.

Had an awesome experience with Ryan and his team! Was referred to them to get a stud replacement on my wheel. They didn't charge extra for the hub removal and stayed after hours to make sure I got my truck back. Added an oil change too cause their pricing was so great! Highly recommend them. This shop is outstanding! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I had a challenging situation that another shop wasn't addressing for us. Half Price got the (major) issue resolved in just a couple of days, when the first place we took it to had it for a month with no results. Our car drives like it's brand new again. I’m so happy to have found this hidden gem! They were helpful throughout the whole process and were not only kind and honest but also very knowledgeable and communicated well. I felt comfortable and never felt pressured to fix the issues they found. They have earned my trust, which is hard to find in auto shops. Although I opted to not keep the vehicle I got inspected, I’m glad to have found this place at least and will be going to them from here on out.

I originally went to Walmart for a routine engine oil change, but an hour later they canceled my order, claiming the oil filter was over-torqued and needed a mechanic’s attention. Thankfully, I headed straight to Half Price Auto Repair & Fleet — I’d done my pre-purchase inspection there before and trusted their team.

After a quick inspection, Half Price told me the oil filter could actually be loosened by hand. More importantly, they discovered that Walmart had left my drain plug only finger-tight and slightly leaking. If I hadn’t had time to follow up immediately, this could’ve turned into a much bigger issue.
