Wish I didn't have to write this review, but when an owner of a business can't back their product and find every excuse in the book not too, it deserves a review. Especially for a customer that has done business with them before. We purchased a transmission based off of a VIN from them and they delivered us a 6 speed automatic versus the CVT we requested. It then took another few days until they got the right transmission, and we had to pick the transmission up. Upon installing the transmission, the vehicle didn't move. We then verified if the transmission had a filter in it by pulling the pan, and found out the transmission has water in the transmission that we received. Explaining to chapin that after we installed it the transmission didn't move, they became very defensive and claimed we didn't give them the core within 7 days. Which we did when we picked up the transmission.
They also tried to say that because it took us longer than 7 days to install, that they weren't going to warranty it. It's sad that a wrecking yard won't back up their product. Be careful with what you buy from here, the run around that they give you. Also be prepared to continue to stay on top of them to get your order done, otherwise you'll never get a call back. This goes for both number 1 and 2 locations.
Well I did not agree that you by a expensive part from this place and they only give you 30 days to exchange. I will not recommend this place to anyone that I know
These guys are clowns. They told me they have a part in stock. When I got there it was something totally different. They didn't even bother to check if they had the right part.
They are ignoring my calls. I called earlier asking for prices and i told them i was going to ask around to see if i could buy it cheaper but now they deny the call after the first ring.
Dude that is towing wrecked vehicle today. 6:19PM here in 347. Secure the wrecked cars. The windshield flew from your tow truck. It almoat hit us and we received the residue. You gave us lot of scratches in our hood. Irresponsible. Secure it!
Decent place. I didn't buy anything, they didn't have what I needed. But they were helpful and even directed me to a location that did have the part I needed
I called and asked if they had a trans they said they did went in for it the next day and they tell me it will be ready tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and nothing i call and they hang up i go in the next day and i have to go to adifferent yard that wants me to wait another 2 days because they haven't pulled it either.
called for a transmission went down there and it was broken , ok stuff happens, they said they had another one but they had to take it out , no problem , i call the next day at noon they were working on it , called again at 3 and they didn't and are not going to take it out , it's saturday 3:30 thanks alot
I called ahead of time and Tyrone sounded very helpful, he did let me know that they did have a upper control arm for my 2000 Dodge Durango. He took my name and number and offered to call me back after he took a look at the condition. Tyrone called me back and let me know that it was in good condition and that I was able to pick it up today. I let him know that I would be there between 11 and 12. I show up and wait over 1hr. A Man comes out with a lower control arm! I let him know that I was waiting for a upper control arm not a lower so he told me to hang on while he gets it. I proceed to wait another 30 minutes. The man comes back with an upper control arm that is cracked and in very bad condition. Tyrone did let me know that the price was still firm and that they would not come down even though I was advised that this was in good condition and even though I waiting 1 1/2hrs for this. I don’t recommend wasting your time.
I just call to see if they have my part for mt car the guy did not understand me. He only speak spanish only. I ask if anyone there speak English and he said no. That is no way to run a business
Very poor customer service second I they you your car will be ready in a week it takes two weeks to get a engine for the car. And they four different engine in the car starting with a v6 & your car is a big before they realize which one they needed and a mechanic's don't like to work fast and they claim they are knowledgeable but they are not. And they like to blame the costumer for not knowing what engine goes in the car and being responsible for there mistakes. And also claim they cant drop the price or give a discount on a engine do to there stupidly on what engine goes in a customers car. And 3rd they do not return calls to any costumers to in firm them on any delays or problems they come across. I do not recommend anyone using these people for anything.
This place sucks every time I call this MF place they leave waiting on the phone or they just hang up at me, it used to be a good place, but now they think they better, but still is just a junk yard....... We are the costumers we go to leave the $$$ to them not them to us......
Outrageous prices. Not that these guys read any of these reviews or care about them. I went in looking for a pair of 350z heads on an engine that was destroyed from the oil pan up. It even had a fist size hole in the front of the block. But nope according to these guys it was a perfect engine so they wouldn't sell anything.
No mechanical knowledge and crooked as hell. Stupid prices. I'm actually surprised anyone put 5 stars. Must be their own guys
Super expensive parts. They are even more expensive than dealer. The guy over the phone had drive 45 minutes to the office and have me look for the part in the yard and the weather was 120 then gave price match dealer price for used part.
Don't buy anything from them. They say they have something and then go out to get it and now its not any good. We call and had them checked on it and now 1.5 hour later the tank isn't any good.
Pros: Huge inventory, many cars are very intact, prices are fair, pulling is reasonably quick. Staff is friendly and will show you around the yard so you can make sure the correct part is pulled for your vehicle. Spanglish is spoken fluently.
Cons: The main office / waiting room / restroom area is filthy and it doesn't have A/C, which is understandable being a scrapyard. However the whole customer experience could be improved with a clean, air conditioned waiting room, with a separate stockroom for pre-pulled parts. Also, parking could be improved. All of these cons are minor, because after all, it is a junkyard. You can always drive down the road and wait at the convenience store in the meantime.
Never go to this PLACE. The guy name jack is an ×××××. He agree on to sale me some parts, but they were only excepting cash to prevent paying the government tax money. I came home got the cash went back. To my surprise he changed his mind about selling me the stuff. Making all sorts of excuses. I had all my kids with me and drove over 50 miles to go and come. He was still yelling on me telling me he will not sale me anything. There are many junk yards and decent people. plz DO NO BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY. HE WILL END UP SCAMMING YOU. HE continuously changes his mind and prices. Please be aware. if you don't want to be scam plz avoid this place all together. Hope this review will help some people. :)
