Shady shady shady! Do not come here! I gave them a CC for the deposit to bid. You cant get it back until the end of the auction. Which makes no sense because the people who took it and give you your bid number are just sitting around doing nothing until it's over. I wanted to leave right after it basically started. There were only 2 good condition vehicles and they went quick. I didnt want to stick around for the rest of the auction. I went to get my card and give them my bid number to leave. They told me I cant get it back until its over and that I can leave and to come back in an hour. I did just that and people were still leaving out the side gate. However, the main gate was locked. No one around and when you call the number it just rings. They basically stole my CC. Left a message hoping to pick it up another day. No returned calls or anything. They have your contact info when you sign in. Did they have the common courtesy to call and tell you to stop by and get it? Nope! Trashy place, shady people and shady process. I will never go back there.

Don't buy any car from these people they are frauds. The cars are garbage if you have any title issues they ignore you and tell you to deal with it yourself. So if you buy a car and it has title errors you can't put it in your name and they won't fix it.PLEASE STAY AWAY! THESE PEOPLE ARE MEAN AND NASTY BUSINESS THEY DO

I would stay away from there. Get your car towed off while your involved in other matters. Once your car gets towed your at there mercy. Towing company's are today's examples of getting away with robbery. Wait 2 days and have to come back 3 separate times to get my deposit back. Wow was this a mistake

I am so glad that I had read the reviews. I knew something was off. 1. They don't answer or return your calls. 2. They didn't say or state that is was an auction sale. 3. They texted me like the lowest to pay for a car was as cheap as $800, or less. I do not live anywhere near there. I live miles and miles away. I found this auction sale on the website. It said nothing about it as an auction. I will not buy anything from here and I am not going to waste my time and money. Thank you for all the reviews. It saved a lot of time for me.

It's a scam .cars are made to just barely run for show .they hold ur card hostage for two hours and basically trap you.made it seem like it's a dealership through text. yet it's a bidding auction.beware.they have fake bidders who there trying to raise the bid for more profit .better off lighting your money on fire .

It was my first auction experience, everyone was cool and informative and welcoming, I actually made new friends. The vehicle; i was so nervous to pick it up because I thought I would get around the corner and it would stop, it did not. No check engine light, no vehicle issues. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME. I will be back.

Every time you talk to somebody about this place they always tell you that it's a car sales. That is not true it is an auction. They won't tell you that on the phone they make you come here to check it out and then get you trapped when you decide you want to try to bid. They will hold your credit card hostage and your deposit hostage to force you to stay there for 2 hours. Stop the car you're interested in is bought right away, you're stuck.

I would be giving them zero stars if I could. The only contact number that they provide is never available to customers. And the person who should be answering the phone (Carlos), who i personality meant while i was going to tbe office of dv towing. And he rudly told me to make an appointment for him to be able to talk to him. They don't deserve to have any customers with there unprofessional employees and boss. I immediately left the property, and promised myself to never comeback to this location. This is a review from one unsatisfied customer. -5 customer service.

I do not recommend this place. They have too many different numbers, none of them work or the voicemail box is full. They go off the hours of the impound hours. So when I went in they told me that they work with this auction company and their next auction is October 19th. The address is not even right you have to walk around the corner to get to them.

Ok so I had to update after my last review. Before I had posted about the fact I could never get ahold of anyone nor could I ever get a response to my online forms. Recently, I have been absolutely impressed with the response as well as the communication. They are always busy but have still gone above and beyond as far as communicating and answering any and all questions. So I want to Thank them for the outstanding customer service!

If your looking for a decent running car at a great price. This is the place to go. You'll get a car for way below blue book. I've bought 2 cars from them now and I'm sure I'll end up buy another one. Very friendly.

***READ THE REVIEWS*** I saw one of their cars on offer up, called them and the owner Jason called me back(Eventually), essentially just goes on to say to come down, if the car was just listed its going to be there. I told him I live 2 hours away and don't want to have a water trip and kept saying yes yes it's going to be there. Yea it wasn't there, and one of the guys working there said it could have had titling issues or something that's why it wasn't there. But what they also don't tell you and is very hard to get answers from them is that 1. This is an auction not a dealership, so if you see a car with a price online, that's not what you are paying. They are auctioning them off 2. If you go, just go early and look around before getting a number, they make you do a $400 deposit with cash or card, but if you do you have to stay until the very end of the auction and will not give you your card or cash back until then 3. Inspect the cars! The owner claims that he wouldn't sell a piece of junk to families(which is sad, there was families with toddlers looking for reliable cars) and some of the cars were just trash! One Honda was literally flooded and they didn't mention that and someone paid $3.4k for that thing 4. Stay away honestly, waste of time

The only thing I can say is after reading all the reviews this place takes advantage of people who do not know what they are doing. As for the titles, I had a sketchy place not give me a title one and I reported them to the MVD, they take the very serious and they will find and arrest if the title isn't given. Because MVD will assume the vehicle is stolen and they will get the police department as well as federal law enforces involved. If this is something that is constantly happening at this place, it has to be looked into.

Went to this place for the first time with 3k budget. Honestly the car broke down as soon as we got it off their lot right into the street. Walked out with a 98 camry put some work into it and it had bad misfiring and a check engine light on and wouldn't go above 40. Put some more money into it and come to find out they messed with the catalytic converter . Wast of money for sure was so trusting in this place but now I'm out of money and a car. Called a tow company to pick it up for 125$. Worst experience ever taking advantage of people who really need a car and work hard for their money. The tow company has Said he's picked up 6 to 7 cars that were bought from dv auto auction.

This place is one to be weary of. Be very careful doing any sort of business with them. I came in to buy a car when I saw an interaction between them and a paying customer go sour. Long story short they messed up information on a title leaving the customer unable to register the vehicle. They offered a "refund" minus 400 dollars. Basically, they screwed the customer and had the audacity to be belligerent and dodgy with the poor guy. This is just what I saw the first 5 minutes walking into this sketchy place. Like I said, be warned.

This place is a scam, they use some google+ numbers and you get contacted by 3 numbers. The automated texts have no options to opt out, the business has 2 Youtube links are under both DeerValley Auto Auction and Phoenix auto auction. I came across them on OfferUp and from what I can tell they recycle photos so the cars look recent, but if you look the page's inventory you'll see a pattern of cars. I buy from 3 other auctions and this one is strange for a place that's been hosting these auctions for 6+ years. For example, my main auction lists the VIN, miles, and if the box A is valid (odometer reading). They don't let you drive it but you can start it and listen to the engine. Plus they do Saturday auctions, with a Thursday & Friday preview. Plus 1 hour is not enough time to visually and ocularly inspect cars, run codes, or look-up common issues or recalls. The big thing is there is not an accurate inventory cataloging the milage and that's standard because of how it impacts the value of the car. And think, it costs $200-$600 to rekey chipped cars plus it's 30 days before they can sell it so I doubt they're letting a ton of cars go at $600. You'll also notice that many of the 5 star reviews have 1-3 posts and are not as descriptive as the 1-stars. The lack of transparency is enough for me let alone the reviews confirming my misgivings about this place.

Finally attended an auction, had a good time. Bought a running car in decent shape for $1400. It quickly stopped running and had a lot of problems. Remember, you get what you pay for, just do your due diligence. Show up early and look through the cars, write down which ones you wanna bid on. Also, actually paying for the car and getting the keys takes a while, very slow process and lots of people.

Does anyone know if this place is legit? Because I call them and they never answer the phone. No one is never available they never answer text messages. Does anyone know a good auction place that won't screw you around that are in Phoenix or are all of the auctions out here crooked than a politician. Because I have noticed that all people in AZ even car dealerships are liars. Someone please point me into the right direction. And if anyone has been to this so called auction place is it worth it or Run? Because places I have been too don't want my money.

I bid on a car at this auction after paying for it had engine light on I complaint about it to staff they said it’s probably the gas cap. I took it to a mechanic to get the engine light checked paid for o2 sensors and hooked up several hoses that weren’t even hooked up to the car which cost about 500 just to find out through a mechanic that it has a blown head gasket several leaks and radiator needs to be fixed. I bid 1400 which out the door was 1700 I wish I could trade it in. I’m highly disappointed needed reliable transportation.I Wish there were more options in my case they shouldn’t sell cars with engine lights on if a mechanic checked. I shouldn’t be in the auction if that light was on and shaking as bad as it was I questioned the engine light when picking up the keys whoever I spoke with said it’s probably something simple like the gas cap this car which that was not the case this car needs over 4000 worth of work it’s a older 2002 crysler. If they’re is a option to trade in this case please let me know I have documents proving I took this car to a mechanic after leaving the auction.I have 4 kids was looking for reliable mechanic checked transportation. Now it’s just sitting don’t have thousands to invest in this car. On there site all cars say no issues mechanic checked and detailed. Hopefully they can work with me I emailed write this review and texted Jason’s voicemail is full. We will see hopefully they can work with me I need something reliable in good shape full size sedan. That doesn’t needs 1,000’s of repairs done. Update The owner said he would switch out the vehicle under replies and that was not the case he offered my bidding refund back that’s not what I wanted I wanted a reliable car without a engine light one I showed him receipts from repair shops I put too much money in this lemon to get the 1400 back I’ve spent 4000 hard lesson learned. Just be careful if you can drive it and have a mechanic with you don’t get a car auctions like these are a no go for me moving forward.

Tried calling jason about my title but no answer he always ignores me thought he is a man of his word havent seen the title since then tried to return car back he didnt answer after saying he will mail it to me 3 months ago, then went there last week and bought a lexus is 300 which was my dream car and guess what while driving it back up north oil light came on and coolant was low due to radiator leaking out. But not all his cars are lemons as much as his mechanics that "inspect the cars". Are the lemons

If I could give zero stars I would. We went through Offer Up, found a couple of cars to look at. I called for more details. Spoke with Jason who said nothing about it being an auction! I specifically asked if it was an auction and his response was “yes and no. Some things will go for asking price while some will be more.” Then we asked what time is good to check out the cars because we’re coming from an hour’s drive away and he said, “Just come down about 8:30am, there will probably be only 30 people.” We get there right at 8:30am, there’s well over 100 people standing in a long line. You have to register, put $400 down for every car you are interested in. Lest to say, we stood in line for over an hour, get to the register counter to find out this is an auction. This is not explained in the Offer Up ad, and he never said anything in the phone call. Don’t waste your time. They won’t even let you look under the hood of any of the cars. Apparently it’s against their policy. Way to waste 4 hours of my Saturday.

I bought a vehicle for $3600 in November 2020 and I still haven't received the title after 3 months. Took the car to my mechanic and paid an additional $1300 to have it all good to go. I called Jason 30 TIMES for the title and he has not responded. I went by the auction yard twice during the middle of the day to talk to someone and it's closed, their hours are wrong. I finally needed to pay $300 to get a BONDED title, not including title and registration when I get the title in SIX MONTHS. Not worth the hassle AT ALL, it's better to pay more not to have to roll the dice on a car and have the paperwork nightmare later. This dude runs a shitshow and acts like a cheap car salesman took a deuce and put it charge of a junkyard.

I had an experience that was truly sweet and sour. Or something like that. I purchased a car and the transmission went out the same day! It took 2 months and numerous unreturned, mailbox full, unreasonable/unavailable phone calls before something was worked out with me. In the end my $1270.00 was credited for $1200.00 I then bided on a Saturn for $850.00. bided on a 2nd car but after no one bidding what the auction wanted they didn't finalize the deal on that vehicle. After the auction asked if I could switch the Saturn for the other car. Was told no. Then after the Saturn Would not start they exchanged it for the impala I had asked about before..... Or so I thought it was the same one!! Long story longer I ended up paying $74 on top of the $1270.00 I originally paid and ended up with a car I didn't even want. That had over 240,000 miles but a clear title and still running after almost a month. Needed all the fluids. Very important to check all fluids coming out of the auction sometimes I hem card been sitting and the people only make sure the tires are aired enough to pull thru the bidding area and that the battery is charged to start and pull thru as well! Final word GET THERE EARLY AS POSSIBLE AMD DO YOUR OWN VIN CHECKS!

I saw an ad on craigslist of a good truck for 1900 dollars. when I called him he said he was selling the car at 9 30 on Saturday. When I show up to the address I found out it was an auction (which he didn't tell me) and the starting bid is 1900. On top of that there was a 10% "Buyer's fee" I was never told about and sales tax and a "lot removal fee". I didn't bring enough cash to even bid on the car because of all the fees so I had to drive back 2 hours to my house. this place is a complete waste of time.
Oct 05, 2020 -
Had to put down $400 to be able to bid, and wait till end of auction to retrieve the $400. Noted signage that said something to the effect that to "protect the price of some vehicles, they reserve the right to bid on their own cars" so, you might very well have your bid ran up by the proprietors artificially. Shady. No car sold for less than $600 and these were ROUGH looking vehicles. Missing door handles etc.

I bought a 96 Honda Accord for 1100.00. When I was bidding on the car I thought I had bid to 1000.00 I got up to the window to pay and they said no 1100.00! I did not have the funds to pay what they wanted Jayson said he would knock 50.00 off of the price. I was not super happy with my purchase I asked how many miles does the car have on it he said 150 thousand “trust me it’s a great car U got a great deal on it!” So I came up 2 days later with the rest of the $ Jason ended up taking care of 62.00 on the car which was great! I was super appreciative that he did that for us. he had also tried to put us in a more affordable car but it was a worse car in my opinion however he did not have to do that. So the car I bought was a A title car which meant actuall miles on the title. I got the title and it said the car had 180 some thousand miles on it so that was the 1st problem. Was I happy no but the difference between what he told me and what was on that title was not that bad. until I got into the car and it has 240 thousand miles on it!!! So I called Jason and let him know and he pretty much was rude and did not care at all came up with a bs excuse!! So what I’m saying is if u do buy a car from here be careful!! Bring a mechanic with you to check the car over and none of the cars go for 1/2 of their value they go for way over 1/2 that what he says to suck u in!

I have purchased several cars here. It is a gamble, however this last time was a nightmare. I bought a car and was told the title would be ready in 2-3 days and the would call me. 3 days later I had major repairs to the engine, motor mounts and shocks done so the car would be safe to drive. Went in to see about the title and they told me "oh, we are not gonna get that title and we need the car back". I told them of the repairs gave them the receipt, and was told by two employees one the manager or owner Jason that they would reimburse me. Jason said a check would take 48 hours. 4 days later I had to contact him because he doesn't know how to contact customers and he said the repairs were maintenance so they would not pay. I finnaly got the car went to pick it up and they didn't have the title, Jason had just gone to get it. When he got back he walked away gave the paperwork to another, I'm guessing , more competent employee because he is a coward and would not come do the deal himself. Overall you can get lucky gambling on cars here but avoid speaking with management at all costs, he is a liar and does not want to help people. Your better off going to a used dealer they are far less sleazy.

I bought a 95 civic from this auction on the side that says “drivers” which means the cars that are “ running & reliable “ now don’t get me wrong they are pretty cheap cars but don’t believe they are reliable as they say. Your car won’t even last a week or two without something happening & they won’t fix it unless it’s the engine or transmission. They don’t fix minor things as like battery, tires, oil leaks etc. I don’t see how that’s reliable when your transmission is about to go out and you have leaks coming out from the inside of your hood. Yes lol that is my car. Remember I bought the car from the “drivers” side. they had to jump the car to show it for the auction. Is that reliable or even running? I bought the car with a dead battery. 2 poped tires & transmission is about to go out in the next month or so and even though we brought the car back before the 3rd day he told us he won’t help us fix anything & we can’t get our money back. His lot is full of junked cars & They might be running but I promise you they are not reliable. From my experience (A FEMALE) he was zero help. I’m not going to tell you not to go there because you can do what you want but I can say save your money & buy a car that is reliable from someone other than an auction or at least not Jason’s auction lol I’m livid that he could not just do one simple thing for me which fix my oil leaks and he couldn’t even do that. I didn’t even bring up my transmission going out because all he told me was to come & pick up my car because he is not going to work on it. It’s up to you if you want to go through what I went through. Jason is not honest & no help & pick & chooses what he wants to do with the broken down cars he sells to the public. The cars are not 100% perfect but also not 100% reliable and he needs to post that somewhere on his website because this is ridiculous.

Went here a few weeks ago and bought a great car. The staff was helpful and considerate. Advised me that if i had any issues to come back and see them and they would help/fix. No problems with my 1999 Honda Civic. Very pleased and happy with the service.

I bought a 2005 PT cruiser from 3 weeks ago. After driving it a few feet the engine light comes on. Took it to our mechanic here is the list. Head gasket leaking, water pump not working, both motor mounts and torque struts and 2 bolts missing, timing belt shot, rear shocks leaking, lower control arms, coolant temp sensor, oil sender. The car had not gone through emission sense 2014. They claim they do not have to go through emission because they are a private sales yet they charge sales tax. The whole thing is JASON had assured me that his running vehicles are check out by there mechanic to make sure they are in safe and good running condition. Quote from JASON "I would not want to sell you a car that you would not be happy with" I have tried to call him several times with no answer. No call back. I am now working with 3 on your side to try to dispose of this dishonest company. Also turned him into the Attorney General.
