if I could give zero stars I would. M&O failed to provide a working transmission for my car for 6 months, then continued to cuss out my mom on the phone after she had called and some lady at the front desk completely lied to her about my car even being there. Avoid coming here at all cost unless you want your money to go to low quality products. The owner refuses to give us a refund, even though our money went to legitimately nothing and has left me without a car for half a year.

I wish I could give zero stars. It has been five months, and M&O still has not provided the working transmission I paid $1,500 for. So my daughters car has been out of service for almost half a year. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Originally, I was referred to M&O by Franco’s Transmission, but Franco’s eventually refused to work with them because M&O repeatedly failed to deliver the parts despite being paid months in advance. M&O then claimed they would handle the repair themselves and told us it would take "a few weeks." They increased the price and charged an additional $50 just to pick up the vehicle. We agreed to everything just to get my daughter back on the road. A month later, the car hasn't even reached their shop. No work has been done, yet they have our money. When my wife called for a status update, she was verbally abused by "Junior," who used profanity and told her there would be no refund—despite the total lack of progress or documention where I agreed to his terms. I have been forced to file a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General and am pursuing legal action. I have saved every text, invoice, and call log regarding this transaction. I am more than willing to share the details of my experience and the documentation I’ve provided to the Attorney General with anyone who is skeptical. My goal is simply to ensure this doesn't happen to another family.

Good job trying to lie and save face. But let's take a look at what **REALLY** HAPPENED—I've included **all** the relevant facts here, not just the ones that suit your narrative: "Response from the owner 20 hours ago You waited here about 30-40 minutes. When you looked at it, you never mentioned anything about a cracked housing, and my guys did not notice any cracks either. We have no way of knowing if it was damaged while transporting the unit to your mechanic or if it got broken at your mechanics. " **First of all**, I waited **4 hours** for you to pull the part after you promised it would be ready by 11:00. Not 30-40 minutes. "Even without knowing how the unit got damaged from the time you had looked it over when you were here, up until the time that you notified us it was damaged, we still tried to warranty it for you and get you another unit." **Second**, the plastic housing was covered in thick dirt and grime—as is common with yard parts (see attached photos of typical dirty plastic automotive housings from salvage yards where cracks are hidden under layers of mud and debris until properly cleaned). I immediately brought the part back into the office and showed it to the man behind the counter while he was busy talking to another customer. He barely glanced at it, gave a thumbs-up, and I left—my entire day had already been wasted waiting on you, so I wasn't going to hang around indefinitely. It's **not my job** as the customer to know or enforce your internal inspection policies; that's on your staff to thoroughly check parts before selling them and to follow up properly if something's questionable. All we did was wipe off some surface dirt to inspect it better (see picture of the part after minimal cleaning), and we **never** attempted to install it, never took it to a mechanic for fitting, and never manipulated it in any significant way. You have **zero evidence** it was damaged after leaving your yard—your claim that it "got broken in transport or at the mechanic" is pure speculation with nothing to back it up. "We told you that we had to special order it from California and it would take a few days to get it in. You agreed to that one day, and then the next day you changed your mind after we had already paid for a replacement for you." **Thirdly**: I texted and called the very next day (Friday) and was told he'd know by Monday. There was **no mention whatsoever** of special-ordering from California at that time. When I followed up on Monday, I was told to wait until Wednesday. The story keeps changing—no consistency, just more shifting excuses. "So, yes we offered you full store credit that does not expire until you use it, contingent on you returning the original part. And we are wrong for that?? HOW?? If we didn't care about our customers we would have never taken the time to order a replacement for you, nor would we have offered you store credit after you told us that you bought a new one and didn't need a used one anymore. So the next time you go slandering companies, maybe you should include ALL of the details and not just the ones you want embellish on. Why would we refund you for breaking our merchandise? " This is laughable. Your “details” are a desperate attempt to rewrite events, but they're loaded with fabrications. You claim to care so much about customers, yet you're openly accusing me of fraud, deliberately breaking the part, and refusing a return like it's theft. The crack was there under the dirt when I picked it up—your yard sold a defective part—and we've handled it minimally since then. I've laid out **every key fact** here for full context, including timelines, communications, what actually happened with the inspection (or lack thereof), and photos showing how the dirt concealed the issue. This isn't slander or embellishment—it's a clear buyer-beware warning so others don't get stuck with the same runaround and wasted time/money.

I reached out to find a part for the fuel pump on my car. I drove to the yard from Tucson to pick it up. I had to wait an additional 4 hours for them to pull the part after contacting them the week before. They finally pulled the part, when I return to Tucson my mechanic discovered that there was a crack in the plastic housing. When I requested a refund for a part that could not be used, they said it was electrical, even though the plastic housing was cracked, and will only give me yard credit. After texting them and explaining that I live 200 mi from there and I don't need credit from a scrap yard, they said there's nothing they're going to do and they weren't going to argue with me. I would definitely stay away from these guys. The part was only $150 and they could have easily refunded that especially since they required me to zelle them the money before they would even pull it. Definitely a racket. I will tell everyone that I can about them. Buyer beware. Again, they're in it for the money and they don't really care about their customers.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Integrity & Customer Service I don’t usually leave reviews for junkyards but this experience deserves one. I purchased an engine that later turned out to have an internal issue that couldn’t have been caught ahead of time. Without hesitation, he immediately stepped up, took responsibility, and sourced another replacement engine from a major national supplier. That motor looked amazing and was priced very fairly — no core required. When a problem was later discovered before installation, he handled the situation in a way I’ve never seen in this industry. No arguing, no delays, no excuses. He refunded every dollar exactly as promised and apologized for the inconvenience. I’ve dealt with many salvage yards and parts sellers over the years, and I can honestly say this level of honesty and professionalism is rare. Even though the deal didn’t work out the way either of us wanted, the way he handled it earned my trust for life. I would absolutely do business with him again and recommend him without hesitation. This is a company that stands behind what they sell and treats customers with respect.

The brothers who work there are pretty respectful and nice, will work with you for decent price for items that you're looking for. They do not purchase individual parts however try to sell them three brand new fuel pumps, and they declined because they only buy a whole cars ??

If you are a shop do not waste your time or give them money. They lie to you about part availability times, Junior the managers response was he didnt know the parts were at a different lot. So from the manager himself, they dont infact know where there parts are. They will give you a eta on when the parts arrive so your employee can drive there for no reason. They are absolutly incompetent. On top of that, they lied to us about saying they will give a refund. A guy on the phone with the same exact voice and temperament as *Junior the manager* told me that the manager *Junior* is in a meeting so when he is out he will give us a refund. 5 hours later, no call back from the manager or refund. I know definitely, a terrible junk yard like this doesnt have meetings for 5 hours straight. If they truly had meetings maybe there operation wouldnt be so bad and unreliable.

This is the most scaming junk yard I ever encounter they said they had a used engine for my 2008 nissian frontier 2.5 they where asking 3400.00 they said they needed half the money before they can pull it out so we sent the money every 4 day kept calling but a got nottong but excuses I came to the conclusion they never had the motor I needed 1 month and a half later still no motor no refund 1 class scammer

Rode 3 hrs on my bike for a part for my truck from Yuma, and these guys had EXACTLY what I was looking for, ready to go. Best customer service ive received at any salvage yard. They made sure that every request was followed to a T, and ensured every need was met. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for parts that are hard to find and great service to come with it ! Thank you M&O Auto Parts.

This place went over and beyond to help us. They were getting ready to close and took the time to have someone go pull the part we needed from the vehicle while we waited. Would definitely do business with them again.
