We passed by on a sunny day and found quite a few empty tennis/soccer courts. There is a decent walking trail around waterside that transitions into a golf course. Though it was a bit short and hard to get to. The view of the bridge was nice There might be a group of foxes hiding nearby, but it was a bit far to confirm

Lincoln Park is a really nice place. It has big green spaces, tall trees, and fresh air. I liked walking around and sitting on the benches. Families come here to relax, and kids play in the open areas. It feels safe and clean. I enjoy my visits

It's huge and very peaceful with lots of parking....get your food and water. There's portable public toilets Pleasant place to spend time with family ?

One of my favorite parks, I enjoy visiting whenever I need a break. It is a large and tranquil place to relax and clear my mind.

It’s a nice big park in congested Jersey City. In addition to the greeneries (extensive lawn, shade trees), picnic areas, pools, fountains and monuments, there are many venues for sporting activities, free to the public. Among those i truly appreciate the velodrome: a 1.8 miles 2-way circuit painted in green and reserved for bikers only. Pedestrians won’t bother you when you cycle laps, they have their own path just next to it. So well conceived and so civilized! Congrats to the people of JC. You have a gem!

Peaceful, scenic, and right by the water — the picnic spot at Lincoln Park is pure calm. Perfect for a quiet escape or a chill hangout. ??

A very nice park on the edge of Jersey City, it has dedicated walking, running and cycling lanes. There are many tennis courts, basketball courts, places to play soccer, football and even baseball. It has good space to have small picnics too. The lawn and pond could have been better managed. The lawn needs to be mowed and ponds needs to be cleaned of Algae’s. Overall a very good park for the community.

On of the bigger parks in this area of New Jersey. Jogging and biking paths are separate and the entire park is smoke free, at least by law. There are tennis and basketball courts peppered around and there is even a park events center or building that one can book for parties and celebrations. Overall a good daytime park. I suggest not going alone into the middle of the park when it's dark but that's for almost any park anywhere.

It's such a spacious park, perfect for taking long, peaceful walks. The cleanliness really adds to the overall experience, making it a pleasant place for everyone to enjoy.

It's one of the best parks in Jersey City! It is a huge county park that is extremely safe and offers many activities. You can access the park from Kennedy Blvd., West Side Ave., Duncan Ave., Communipaw and Mallory Avenues, and Route 1 and 9. There are 3 parking lots throughout the park and also street parking. There are many basketball courts in 3 areas of the park as well as 2 playgrounds, tennis courts, racquet ball courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, volleyball fields, a 400 meter track and a workout station. There are also walking and bike lanes around the whole park. There is also a huge fountain lake to walk around with seating. There is plenty of space available throughout the park. There are also multiple bathrooms and portable toilets. During spring and summer, the park has carnivals, fruit markets, free concerts, and activities. It's a great park for all ages!

Parking? Plenty! Sports facilities? Everywhere! What really stood out for me is how safe and welcoming the whole environment feels — definitely the kind of place where strangers can easily turn into running buddies. Temporary toilets was poor.but all are good. You can enjoy hear ? birds lovers was there with his birds on Sunday morning visit this place 11.05.2025 Sunday.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a great time at Lincoln Park! The morning-to-noon ambiance is just chef’s kiss — peaceful yet buzzing with life. As someone on a post-injury comeback run training, I loved people-watching while doing my own stretches. You’ve got zumba crews dancing their hearts out, couples running side by side, families strolling together, and adorable pups all on leash — no surprise jump scares here! Parking? Plenty! Sports facilities? Everywhere! What really stood out for me is how safe and welcoming the whole environment feels — definitely the kind of place where strangers can easily turn into running buddies. Didn’t spot any water stations this time, but I’ll be back tomorrow to check if there are any. Restrooms? Still on my to-do list — I’ll report back on that too. If you’re looking for a feel-good spot in Jersey City to move, mingle, or just breathe, Lincoln Park is it!

Lincoln Park is a gem. Over 200 acres of walkable land, magnificent and well lit, giving a sense of safety with clear visibility, for someone who needs a place to exercise outdoors at night because the daylight is so brief in the winter! It’s great in daytime too, and in all the other seasons!

I grew up going to this park. My review experience though will be based off the event from last Sunday only. I cant give a higher rating because for a special event you would think the park would be landscaped properly. It just wasn't pretty, so much overgrown grass which made it uncomfortable. Everything else seemed to be well maintained. They had waste baskets clearly labeled for recycling or trash which was helpful and definitely great for our environment. This event has been at this location for several years now, the park maintenance could be way better.

The park is my favorite place to be. I go there all the time because it's just amazing. The people who take care of it do a great job, so everything looks nice and clean. I really enjoy feeling close to nature when I'm there.The park has so many nice things to see and hear. There's a pretty water fountain that makes a soothing sound. Tall trees provide shade and homes for birds. I love listening to the birds sing their happy songs. It's fun to watch kids running around and playing, too.One day, I decided to explore a bit more. I walked deeper into the park and found a special spot that felt perfect for me. It was like finding a needle in a haystack - just what I needed! Now, whenever I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps, I go to this spot. I can sit there for hours, just thinking and relaxing.This park isn't just a place to visit; it's become my home away from home. It helps me feel better when I'm sad and gives me a place to enjoy nature. I'm so glad I found this wonderful park and my special spot within it.

My husband and I frequent Lincoln park a lot and we love it! Even in the cold Jersey city winters, it is great for walking and some really pretty views. I, especially love the lakeside. The park was beautifully decorated during Christmas and we cannot wait to see how it looks during Spring and Fall! They have courts for several games that you can use for free, we frequent the pickleball courts. They have a fun fair set up with great rides and eats during the month of May.

I love this place. It’s beautiful with big trees. The pond has turtles and birds around. I always come here for a morning walk or an evening stroll after work. There’s a back area by the river that is lesser known, so there is less people in that area. It’s a decent size park, to finish the whole thing (including the back area) would take about 1.5 - 2 hours.

I absolutely love this park. So beautiful, so open, many things to do. Track, bicycle/running path, baseball fields, basketball courts, handball courts?, workout areas, tennis courts, a couple of kinda boring dog sections, a new place that looks like it’s gonna be a restaurant & or an event space, multiple kids playgrounds, cricket, soccer fields, a small bbq area & lots of seating. There has been construction going on since winter of 2022 & is still happening as of June 2023. But it’s only in small sections throughout the park & it looks like it’s to help with drainage, so it’s great it’s being done. Can get a bit packed on beautiful days.

Nice and beautiful park in journal square area! Enough space for picnic, sports and just chilling. Has a fountain and river side which is quite pretty. It’s very lively during summer and I always found it safe. Recently there is a carnival ? going on, perfect for a weekend outing and just enjoy some rides and carnival food ?

A gem in Jersey city. The walking path and tennis courts are top-tier. Highly recommend. Sometimes I use my hammock and sit between the trees and read. There are lots of activities too for children and adults. There's also a track, 2 dog parks basketball courts, space for cricket, dancing, softball etc Pics taken Feb 2023.

Lincoln Park center pitch is really good pitch to play cricket. We played match yesterday on this ground and it was not bad at all. Pitch has true bounce means ball will swing and stay low for you to safely drive the ball. Bowling run-up lakes grass and it is full of sand which makes it difficult to run quick and bowl on both ends. Local county Sheriffs are always around and monitors crowds. Parking can be difficult on weekends.

Beautiful clean park. You can do everything at this park. There’s a soccer field, a tennis court, basketball court, workout area, playgrounds for kids, you can also run tracks etc.. it’s awesome. Summertime sunset are the best and there’s a beautiful greenery all around to enjoy nice picnics. It is pet friendly as well and festivals are hosted there often.

Our favorite family park. We are happy to live near it. The park has everything - an amazing playground, bike paths, a green lawn to have a picnic. We are here every day. Now, when my son has summer holidays, I can easily study English here - there is free Wi-Fi and comfortable tables in the park.

One of best in jersey city for walk. Also best place for family and kids. You can also enjoy the fountain and play grounds. You must enjoy this park it's amazing place for anyone & everyone ?.

A really nice park in the middle of the city to enjoy life. The park offers a lot of amenities from track and field, baseball court, soccer, basketball, and tennis. There are also special events such as movie nights, farmer's markets depending on the season and food trucks.

Had some picnic groves, parking, rest rooms (they could afford to spread some ports johns), handbag courts, basketball, track, etc. Ample walking & bike paths. Had water features, beautiful central fountain. Wonder if they have/allow food carts; would be nice. Smart one-way flow of circumferential road, w/ multiple vehicular entry/exit points. Good size (small to medium) park. Ample.

It's a very beautiful place to go to no matter the seasons. It has such beautiful scenery and animals. The nature there is amazing. It's always taken care of. I also took some amazing pictures too
