Justin knows his stuff and is very helpful. I thought they communicated well while I was waiting for the repair and Justin explained everything well. Unlike many places, I did not feel scammed.
I’m looking for a Geek Squad location that would be able to help me fix broken wingtips of the Beats Pro earbuds. I called this location and Jose was super helpful in answering my questions and pointing to the appropriate location to schedule an appointment. I’m deducting a star because the BestBuy phone bot that takes your call initially is absolute trash, even by phone bot standards.
Had a great experience with Geek Squad—they helped me fix a minor issue with my laptop during my appointment time, and it was all handled quickly and professionally. It wasn’t something I could figure out on my own, so I really appreciated their knowledge and efficiency. Highly recommend for tech support you can trust.
Man they are talking so many nonsense. I even called before to confirm they can replace the thermal paste in 30 min. After arrive they said it gonna take 5 days. And after they heard I got couple of time of blue screen they just refuse to take any further. The horrible service ever and only make easy money
The Geek squad here has no idea what they are doing. They tried repairing the back of my phone and completely failed. I don’t really care about what technical terms they use, point is that most ppl who drop off their phone for repairs usually want their phone the same day unless otherwise stated. They messed up my phone and basically told me I was going to be left without a phone. They wasted my time by having me come back to see if they can put it back to how I brought it in. This they did. When I tried upgrading my phone it was too late and close to their closing so they couldn’t do it. It was a complete waste of my time. I even missed a dinner reservation. I will NEVER be using their services again. I think overall Apple/AppleCare have failed with how they provide service ti their customers.
This experience starts off great with Kevin in sales. This young is so knowledgeable about TV’s and soundbars . We only planned on looking, it we left Best Buy after almost spending 2k on a new tv and soundbar, and that’s all because Kevin is great a sales. Now the story gets a little not so great. Basically a damaged wall mount was delivered. And that wall mount was out of stock. So I had to drive to a Best Buy and get a more expensive one m. But Edward the manager at the Secaucus store stepped up. He only changed me for the price of the original wall mount ( the difference was around $120). What great customer service. Best Buy has a customer in me for life. Big ups to Kevin and Edward, they both deserve a raise.
My laptop has a charging problem so I bring it to Geek Squad. The rep didn’t fully look into the problem but just asked me to ship my laptop right away for $85. I was there for around 15 minutes, 80% of the time the rep is talking to someone else. Very bad experience.
Very disappointed by the Spanish people that work at this place they treated me like I was a no body stood on line 29 minutes before all the geeks walked around the store looking for customers to help when they finally got to me they stall the whole process and were speaking in Spanish in a negative way and looking at each other as if signaling to each other lik not to help me they sat me down didn’t took the phone came back to check it out they simply send we gonna send it out it will take 5 days , then that changed to 7 days then that changed for 2 weeks then that changed to a month I think they were simply not wanting to deal with me because I’m black or dark skinned but I’m actually Puerto Rican and I understood everything that they said I speak and understand Spanish very well and will be filing a complaint of discrimination on Best Buy and it’s non geek personals it’s very upsetting...
Good enough. Repairs and queues are somewhat very time consuming but they get the job done with proficient staff. Their plan is pricey but if you take advantage of the plan it's worth it.
I needed a new battery for my iPhone so I did a search for Apple Stores. This place came out as the nearest. I first made a call and was told they had the battery for my phone. So I went there at about 3:30 pm, but was told I need to make an appointment. So I made an appointment for 6:20 pm and went home, glad that I did not live too far away. I went at 6:20 pm sharp but nobody came to take care of me for about 30 minutes. Then a guy asked me what I was there for. I said battery replacement for my iPhone and I was there for already 30 minutes. He said they were backed up with four phones before mine and I had to go there again the second day. I said how come? He said they had an out call this morning. I said my appointment was made at 3:30 pm and how this could have anything to do with what happened this morning? The guy went into the office and came out after 10 minutes, saying that they would replace my battery the same day. Then he gave a lot of stuff on their "policies", basically saying bad things could happen but they won't be responsible. They then checked my phone with their software and I made the payment. When I finally got the phone it was past 9:00 pm. I watched before people change batteries for Android phones at a supermarket front store, it took about 15 minutes. Starting yesterday I found the Internet video and photo loading speeds of the phone have become substantially slower. I called several times today, this Geek Squad does not answer.
I had an excellent experience with the Geek Squad from Jersey City for a TV installation. They were timely and updated me regularly. Ana and Danielle were excellent technicians and when there was a glitch shortly after they left (no fault of theirs!), they returned same-day and fixed. Everything works perfect and I was highly impressed with the work ethic shown. Fantastic customer service and I would use them again!
