Omg! This auto repair shop saved me much heartache and distress. I'm an old lady but I've always driven a leased vehicle and this was my first time going to an auto repair shop for something that I actually owned. I was very pleased with their their comparable prices and extraordinary services.

Great experience with taking my truck here. Were very quick to get he job done as well and very honest. Would recommend 100% to whomever is in need of car repair.

I take my car to M&R for everything. These guys are honest, respectful and they work really hard. In the blistering cold or sweltering heat, I’m been able to depend on M&R for both my vehicle maintenance and repairs. The owners Mickey & Ricky are easy to talk to and they listen and show sincere concern for your needs. Their prices are beyond reasonable, they use well established and reputable part brands, so no need to worry, the replacement part will meet or exceed the original performance. When I pull up to M&R I know that I’m going to be well taken care of. For most shops, you can’t say that. When I’m here I don’t get the dreadful “they’re going to take advantage of me because I don’t know….,” or the “they’re out to get me” feeling, that you get at most mechanic shops. The communication is awesome and when they find things, they bring it to your attention. If you’re there, they’ll take you in the shop, show you the car and explain. Times that I weren’t there, they’ve sent me video or photos and then called to explain. No need to guess at what’s being done to your car and/or why, they will show and tell. When I’m at M&R I get that old school, “we’re neighbors, we take care of each other” vibe. I send all my friends and family here. Great job M&R, I’ll be seeing you guys soon, time to get my cars winterized.

I got a oil change done recently, and they are nice and professional. I would definitely recommend. I called in beforehand, and as I went in they did the oil change for me. They were even very nice and backed my car out to be easy to drive right out since this is a very busy street. Rickey was the one I dealt with in regards to my oil change, and I highly recommend them, very professional!

Excellent customer service and work and really explains things to know about your vehicle. Will recommend more people to come.

I was grateful for their experience and courtesy! Even when I had a problem, they had me towed in. I know if I have any problems I can take it to them!!

Great place to get any work done on your vehicle. I brought my Mercedes in and they took care of me. If they cannot resolve the issue they refer you to a reputable reasonably priced shop to finish the work. Knowledgeable, honest, and helpful mechanics; you cannot go wrong with them. I would 100% recommend to my peers.

I'll tell you..after searching around for a honest mechanic..I really found my guy after bringing him my 2011 honda accord..the job was done perfect..once I explained the problem..he already knew what the issue was and fixed it to the honda standards..if you want a mechanic you can trust..this is the guy's too go to..I highly recommend them facts..

Such a great experience with these guys. Needed a new battery and they got one ordered and delivered same day. Also helped with getting my inspection booked. And helped get my baby back in the car when it was rained. Great family run business that are hard working and generally care and want to help. Couldn't recommend more. Thanks guys

Been to M & R Establishment for the 2nd time. First time was for struts and suspension repairs Ricky & Mickey showed me exactly what the problem was as my car was on the lift. Also gave me different options on price and parts. Very fair and direct to pinpoint and resolve the repair. The job was completed in one day as requested by me. Thankful to have M & R for my go to repair shop they are highly recommended. 2nd repair is in the midst of being taken care of now as I type. Once this job is completed I will give my 2nd review. I have been to a number of auto mechanics throughout the years. M&R is the best one I have dealt with. On multiple occasions, Rick actually saved me money by working along with my budget. It’s been my observation that most mechanics will go with whatever the book says on how much they can charge for labor. However, when Rick completed the repair of my suspension system in less time, he actually charged me less. Now, maybe there are other mechanics that do that but this is a first for me. I know, I found a mechanic I can trust, and the work performed is first rate. Needless to say he will be getting all my business.

I am new in Jersey city. I brought my car to the shop and had a good experience. Mickey is the guy who replaced my spark plugs. A guy easy to talk and acts professional and transparent. Recommend this place to go.

If you are looking for best and professional mechanic, your search can stop here. My car has a flashing airbag sign and I went to Atleast 3-4 auto shops in Nj and NY but no one knows what’s the problem was. Glad I stop here and they fixed it in 1 hour and very reasonable price. I will always bring my car to them.

Went in to get new headlights installed on my Nissan Altima. The service was super quick and professional. Really appreciated the friendly service and smooth experience!!

i brought my 2015 mercedes here a few weeks ago for some noise going on in the rear. for what i thought was gonna be a costly fix turns out it wasn’t. the guys here are extremely knowledgeable and very nice and professional. they are honest and will let you know up front about cost and what you should or should not do. ultimately they leave the ball in your court which is a blessing. long story short it is hard to find a good mechanic and those guys are the very best. thank you again and would highly recommend 10/10. will return for future work!!

Amazing service! Honest, helpful, friendly staff! I drove up early on a Saturday morning needing to get an oil change and have a rattling noise checked out on my Toyota RAV4. They changed the oil and fixed the rattle in under and hour and at a great price. They also let me know about a brake issue that I wasn't even aware of! I will definitely be going back for all my future auto service needs. Highly recommended!

Honest and reliable! Went in for a water pump and thermostat replacement and the car was pulled in as soon as I got there. The labor cost is always worth it when it’s done correctly. Car is now running smooth and there is no coolant leak. Highly recommend

Need to change my brake pads and rotors for my mazda. Was able to buy the parts myself and they were able to install it and charge for only the labor for a decent price (Service warranty isn't included if you bring you own parts). They also changed my differential fluid and charged a decent price compared to a Mazda dealership which they charge much more. Dropped my car off at around 9:00 AM and was able to pickup my car the same day around 1:30 -2:00 PM. Super fast service and reasonable prices, plan on bring my car and family's car in the future for regular maintenance or any vehicles problems. Its been a week and half so far and my car is running smooth with no issues.

You can’t go wrong with this place. They helped me on installing a custom steering wheel. They are professional and nice. The most importantly, they treat your car as their own. They also share knowledge with you, explain things in detail without trying to cover things up.

I replaced the rear bearing of my Subaru Outback here and the process was efficient and professional. Mickey and I talked a lot about car knowledge and maintenance tips. M&R is the best auto services center that I have ever used. The mechanics are knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. They're never just standing around; when you drive up, they get to work immediately, and every mechanic there is 100% professional and capable. I trust them all. I've used them many times, and they have never been wrong about what's happening with my car. Once, I kept having to get jump starts for my CR-V. I went everywhere looking for a solution, and everywhere they said it was either my alternator or an electrical issue. I was told three times that it was electrical and would cost thousands to fix. Then I found M&R. They brought out a little machine and had me turn on the car and activate everything that draws power from the battery. The machine showed definitively that it was simply the battery. Fifteen minutes and a few dollars (for a new battery) later, and I was driving away. Also, they never talk down to you, and they don't try to upsell you. They understand that if you had the knowledge that they do, you would take care of the problem yourself. And, they tell you when you have an issue that can wait. Their transparency is so refreshing. I get everything done there--from a lightbulb change to an oil change to brake repair. Oh, and they have a free service warranty that's good both in-state and out-of-state! I'm a client for life. Thanks Mickey and Rickey.

I had an outstanding experience at this car repair store, thanks to Ricky, the owner. I came in with some concerns about my brakes, and Ricky immediately identified the issue. He took the time to patiently explain what was wrong and how it would be fixed, which I really appreciated. The repair was completed quickly and efficiently, and Ricky charged me a very fair price. To top it all off, he even gave me a discount, which was a pleasant surprise. I was drawn to this shop by the numerous 5-star reviews, and after seeing them, I made sure to check the timing to ensure they weren’t posted in a suspicious pattern. After experiencing Ricky's excellent service firsthand, I can confidently say that these reviews are genuine. Ricky’s professionalism and honesty have won me over completely. So I have a 2012 accord stick shift. I took this car to Metro Honda they couldn't find what's wrong with my car. I took it to Mavis tire, a gentleman told me about these guys at M&R auto on Kennedy Blvd in Jersey City. From the moment I pulled into the driveway, the owner already knew what's wrong with my car. They worked in my car very professionally . They are amazing on the price and very good environment. Very friendly people. I recommend any body and all my family to go to this place because they do beyong an amazing job. These people are very amazing because they got me back on the road the next day, which I had a big issue with my vehicle. These guys are amazing and I fully recommend every one to try them out. I had brand new oil pan replacement, had steering pump, wheel alignment also a really bad humming noise from one of my wheel. They took very good care of me and my vehicle there. If I have any future issues with my vehicle I now have a place where it will always be fix. They are amazing people. God bless them.

Took my 14 year old car in for some needed attention. I was told to come at 9a, I did and the shop was open and ready to help. (I’ve been to places that told me a time and opened late) At drop off they asked me to stay a few minutes while they checked the car. They brought me to the car, showed me the issues and explained the recommended solution. Mickey doesn’t do shortcuts. There are things I recommended and he said he doesn’t do shortcuts, I appreciate his honesty. I’ve been to places that have taken advantage of my lack of car knowledge. I didn’t feel that way here. The car was in and out on the same day. They communicated well and very professional. No surprises when I picked up the car. I thought it was a little pricey BUT I understand that the cost of parts and labor is high.
