The team here is fantastic! They fixed the damage to my car in no time and made sure everything was perfect. I’m really pleased with the results.

I was a cash customer and they messed up my car. They made it seem like they were doing me a favor with the lady saying they didn't normally except cash customers. They disabled the alert on my driver side door that would tell me that it wasn't closed. Rain would literally come through my driver side door and the window stopped working. It was a waste of money because I had to go to a different body shop to fix their mistakes.

Friendly, easy to deal with, and appears to be a family-run business. Unfortunately, the quality of the initial repair was disappointing. Panels were misaligned, paint damage from incorrect hardware being used, which required a follow-up visit after an accident where I was not at fault. I ended up covering rental car costs due to errors from the original repair, and some agreed-upon issues were still not corrected at the follow-up. I would have preferred the work to be done right the first time. Better quality control is needed.

My car got hit a parking lot while I was grocery shopping and took my car here as it was on Geico’s list of places to go. They are wonderful. They explained everything to me and my car looks good as new! I highly recommend.

The damage wasn’t major, but it was enough to require a body shop. I was extremely upset and, to be honest, very hesitant about trusting any repair shop. I had a few sleepless nights worrying that my car would never be the same again. Since I live in Jersey City, we drove the car (it was still drivable) to East Coast Collision, and from the moment we arrived, my anxiety started to ease. The first gentleman who assessed the vehicle—later I learned his name is Chris—was professional, calm, and thorough. The shop itself immediately impressed me: clean, well-lit, organized, and extremely professional. I’m 56 years old and have been around long enough to know when a business is legitimate. This place is the real deal. While sitting in the passenger seat, another gentleman came down the ramp, introduced himself, shook my hand, and personally moved my car. I don’t know his name, but he carried himself like an owner or senior leader—polite, confident, and clearly someone who takes pride in the business. The whole interaction felt respectful and reassuring. When my car was pulled inside the shop, I saw the interior—and honestly, I was blown away. The place was lit up like a stadium. You could see every detail. There were several high-end vehicles being repaired, and everything looked precise and professional. This was not one of those shady, insurance-shortcut shops. This was top-tier, legit work. They sat me down, explained the entire process, and even coordinated an Enterprise rental seamlessly. At that point, I felt confident leaving my “baby” in their care. About a week later, I got devastating news from the insurance company: my car was declared a total loss. I was crushed. It felt like losing a family member. From what looked like minor damage—a scrape, a busted light, a bumper—the car was suddenly gone. I was in disbelief and honestly depressed. When we returned to the shop, we spoke with Chris and Marissa Riccardi, who I later learned are siblings and part of the family that owns East Coast Collision. Marissa stepped right up, took charge, and patiently answered every question we had. She and Chris explained everything in detail and made thoughtful recommendations—never rushed, never dismissive. I was stubborn and emotional. I wasn’t ready to let go of a car that had taken me everywhere—Florida, Virginia, Washington D.C., Vermont, Lake George, Pennsylvania, Boston, and countless trips throughout the tri-state area. That car was part of my life. Chris and Marissa showed genuine care and empathy. They helped me understand the situation and made an incredibly difficult transition much easier. They even allowed me time to remove my personal belongings, knowing how hard this was for me. Because of East Coast Collision, I can now move forward and eventually purchase my next vehicle—something I honestly couldn’t imagine doing at first. I recommend this location to get your car repaired. Great customer service and honest about everything. I open my insurance claim with my Acura MDX. These guys did a really good job on my Rear bumper especially with the paint match. Happy customer all around!

Will never go back. This was a couple of years ago and is now just getting into writing this review. My car was involved in a hit and run. Mind you my car has never been in an accident before., damaged driver side fender and door because it was side swiped. When I brought it to their shop, they reported to my insurance that only the fender was damaged from the accident and the door was not part of it. I tried to tell the inspector from their shop that the door and fender was hit and even showed them the same paint transfer from the other car. The declined and insisted that it was not part of the accident. Will never go back!!! Ended up paying for the door repair myself.

After someone decided a red light was optional because they didn't see any cars coming Progressive suggested East Coast Collision for repairs and I'm glad they did! Everything was seamless, from reporting the claim, to the car rental right on the premises. Everyone was helpful and polite. They could do alittle better in the communication category, providing updates specifically; but all in all my car looked brand new when they were done and they even fixed something I wasn't expecting them to. I took my 2014 Ford Fusion to this shop in late January to repair the right side skirt. After they returned the car, the side skirt was partially detached, and several clips inside were damaged or missing. When I went back to the shop, they simply glued it back instead of fixing it properly, and it loose again right after. A few days later, the check engine light came on. I returned to the shop and they only reset the warning without addressing the root cause. Eventually, I found out that two sensors had failed, and I had to replace them at another shop. The backup camera also frequently disconnects. Overall, I had a very poor experience and do NOT recommend this shop at all.

Highly Recommend East Coast Collision. They have worked on my vehicle multiple times and every time they are supper informative, pleasant and honest. They always are super detailed with updates and the ladies at the front desk are very knowledgeable & making things happen! I truly appreciate this family owned business! Thank you all!

Upon visiting the shop for an estimate, Chris provided some solid advise after being hit by someone who didn't want to use their insurance. He made sure I understood the consequences of relying on a random person to pay the bill, despite only being a fende bender. With that said, once reported to my insurance company, the repair process was seamless. A rental car was waiting on site and my vehicle was completely repaired in under a week! This is an honest family run business that does quality work with excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

When I needed a body shop after an accident a couple weeks ago, Progressive mentioned that this place was in their network, so I checked them out and was blown away by the reviews. Let me tell you- everything here is absolutely true. Just got the car back today and it literally looks like it’s brand new again. Cannot recommend them enough!

This place has been a pleasant surprise. We found it by accident in our search for information on how to fix our car at the best possible price and in an easy and practical way. With great patience they attended to us, answered all our questions, clarified all our doubts and took care of all the procedures and paperwork necessary to work with our insurance. And most importantly, they gave us peace of mind that everything was going to be fine and they would take care of any problems that might arise. Really appreciated. So far it's definitely a 5 star experience. I'll keep posting. They finished my car in record time (4 days) and the communications have been constant and very attentive. The quality of the job was very satisfying, even when a little detail araised they solved in a blink. All the staff put a lot of effort in a quality job and a satisfactory experience for us. The reviews and the fact that it was right around the corner from the accident got me here. This place is awesome! From the reception, to the process, to the follow up and the general respect given to their customers, East Coast Collision excels as a body shop. My baby was struck while it was parked at around 5 am. Insurance informed there were no in networks body shops though East Coast Collision was able to make it happen! I’m very impressed with the customer service East Coast Collision has. The staff here are very nice and patient. I brought my car here after an accident. In almost 2 weeks it was done. I had called a few times to get an update and the person who answered the phone was always pleasant. I had minor damage but my car came out looking new. I def recommend East Coast Collision.

I couldn't be more pleased with the shop and the experience. Beyond the extremely detailed and professional work done on my car (see the before and after photos), the shop staff is so pleasant, kind, and accommodating. They worked with the insurance company directly and took care of everything. In addition, I asked them to work on other body issues with my car (regardless of my insurance claim) and they also did a fantastic job with a fair price tag. I hope I won't need any more car repairs in the future, but if I do, I'm just happy I can come back again to a place I can trust.
