Caught a flat while driving …not familiar with the area so used google provided me this location… guys who work there all very friendly and helpful… I un fortunately needed a patch and they only do plugs BUT they put my spare on for me. Would definitely recommend and they’re open later than competitors which came in handy for me
Just stopped by the shop for a quick and rapid oil change along with front brakes/rotors services and I can’t emphasize enough how warm and welcoming the staff was. My vehicle was immediately brought in with a very short wait time and within a hour and a half I was out with the proper services completed. Thank you very much. I walked in needing a new starter. I walked out with a bill and a Jeep I couldn’t even drive.
They told me the repair would take only a few hours — a full week later I had to call and insist on getting my vehicle back. When I finally picked it up, the Jeep started, but the 4×4 driveshaft was completely damaged, making it impossible to drive home because of the loud noise.
When I brought it back, they claimed the driveshaft “was already like that” and told me my only option was to junk the vehicle. This was about a year ago. Fast forward to this week — I took my Jeep to a real, honest local mechanic to replace the starter again. He told me the starter they installed was junk, and the kind of damage to the driveshaft “doesn’t just happen” — which means they likely caused it themselves.
These guys look young and inexperienced, and it shows. Even my AC stopped working after they touched it. To be clear: I came in with a perfectly working Jeep that only needed a starter. I left with a junk starter, a destroyed driveshaft, a broken AC, and a full-price bill.
The same Jeep they told me to “junk”? Still driving fine today — because a competent mechanic fixed their mess.
Avoid this place like the plague. The flood of five-star reviews must be fake, because the quality of their work and service deserves negative stars.
If you ever need work done for your vehicle this is the place! I had an emergency with my car where my axle broke and had to get it towed. The guys were very helpful and figured out what was wrong right away.
Great service for a great price. They were transparent about what they were going to do and walked me through it and answered all my questions. Helped me keep costs down and I was able to watch the work being done.
Had a nail that punctured my tire. Threw the spare on and found this awesome team of guys at Driveworks. They told me to bring it over and within 20 minutes they had the tire plugged and back on the car.
The guys were very friendly, professional, and handled my car with care. Highly recommend them if you have any tire issues! If I ever have any future tire issues, I'll be sure to be back to this shop.

These people are a very sexist they say that was a woman and tried to use that against me. What happened was that I went to go get my light changed I brought bulb and everything. Then he told me he can’t change the bulb but I already paid him. Refused to pay me back and said if I brought my car in again he’d hit it with a baseball bat. Would never tell someone to go to these idiots. DONT GO HERE!
Every other tire shop said it would be 2+ hours to wait. Showed up here and had someone helping within 5 minutes. Awesome service, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, affordable prices. Highly recommend this spot
I had a great experience at Drive works tire And Auto Center. Ahmed and Elias were both very kind and helpful. They provided excellent service and were very professional in their work. The assistance they offered was affordable and of good quality. They were always nice to me and treated me with respect. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good service at a fair price.
I would give Ahmed and Driveworks six stars if I could....Brakes are better than before. Quoted me the lowest price in the area (no haggling) and fit me in for a Same Day fix. Would and will use again; ask for Med
While it's a smaller shop, they're very reasonable with their pricing and have been using them for several years now. Their work has always been good and never had any particular issues.
Only critique is it's a small spot, so there's not a lot of area to park the vehicles so it's a little crowded. Outside of that, if you're local to the area and need serious car service or even just an oil change hit them up theyll work with you.
I went there last month because of a vibration problem. They said there was a problem with the differential and showed the problem and fixed it. I haven't had a problem again. I went there again yesterday to change the brake rotors and pads. Also there were some problems in the tie rod and some parts. They found the problem and fixed it. I haven't had any problems after the procedures. Ahmed is a very nice person. He helped me a lot with all these problems.

I got a blowout on the expressway, and after making my way to another place who did not have the tire size I needed, I came over here.
They immediately attended to me, and they unfortunately did not have the tire size I needed. The gentleman I spoke to you was nice enough to direct me to another place down the road not far away from where I was before they closed for the night.
Overall, it was a good experience, and nice guys were willing to help someone out even though they were not getting the business.
Diagnosed my car when it broke down near Jersey City and helped me find out what was wrong. Was honest with pricing and was recommended by my tow driver. Super responsive and while I went in a different direction made me feel extremely comfortable and trustworthy.
They never changed my oil. I took it there. They lifted it. Walked to auto zone, after over 30 min I came back they gave my car back. Never changed the sticker. Then my oil change light comes on a couple days later when I’m out of town..I call and they said oh my guy never reset the computer. ( not true my oil light was never on when I took it) so paid like 72$ and they never changed it, now here I am again having to get an oil change somewhere else. Not sure if they thought because I was a female but DONT GO.
Had a really positive experience here. We brought out car here because they accept GWC warranty. Previous shops in Brooklyn we've used that accept this have taken advantage of the fact that we were using the warranty and have done a horrible job. Driveworks took care of work that they had previously done poorly and were professional and very communicative while they had and were working on our car. Will certainly continue come here and highly suggest them.
I had got my tire replaced as well as replacement of my brake pads and rotors. The staff was very fast, efficient and kind. They were able to get hard to find parts very quickly and gave me updates about the car as well. The prices they suggested were very considerate given the parts I needed were kinda expensive. So unprofessional and so rude .. service quality is zero .. i went to this place with a flat tire .. the guy didn't want to fix it and offer me 50$ used tire and when i refused he said I can't fix it .. its Sunday night and nobody opens.. i forced to buy a used tire with 45 $ after negotiation ..
Guess what the guy wasted an hour to install a new tire and after I done a asked him to check other tires just in case ..he asked for 5$ check fee that I never heard before in any store in NJ or even in New York although they have a huge post that free tires check ...i don't know the name of that guy but I think he is not the owner ..he alittle white skinny guy speaking Arabic.... i wish owner say my comment....but I am so unset of that place and I will never go back to it
