The people who work here were cool and helped me with my tires. It took a little while, but I told them I wasn't in a rush and they were having a busy day. It was a little more expensive than local tire shops I've been to, but I liked that the tires had a low-cost warranty, and Firestone is nationwide. I usually don't spring for warranties, but there is a lot of construction going on in this area, and they will do free patches in the future if I run into more nails. I also liked being able to pay with a card, as some of the other local shops I was looking at were cash only.
Called for estimate, guy asking me 1000 questions, all personal details. Why you drove away customers, just give them rough approximate. You might have done 1000 of car services. Don’t you know how much it might cost. You don’t need to give exact figure. Just give them rough between this to this. Called another auto service, in a minute they gave an estimate. Now I am going to that auto service. I have positive opinion on Firestone company, because I previously got car fixed. That’s why giving 3 star. But these small things just drove away customers.
Anderson and the team at Firestone are the kind of crew you hope to find but rarely do. I brought in my 2012 Kia Soul after a bizarre limp mode episode — engine wouldn’t rev, dashboard lit up like Times Square. Turns out it was a crank position sensor issue. Not only did they diagnose it quickly and get me back on the road, they replaced it free of charge.
In a world where most places will charge you just to breathe near a diagnostic machine, that kind of integrity stands out. Anderson has always been thoughtful, clear, and honest every time I’ve worked with him — and the mechanics behind the scenes clearly know what they’re doing.
The car runs better than ever. Shoutout to the whole crew — solid humans, solid work. Highly recommend.
I’m only giving 2 stars to prevent Google to hide this review. I would give negative 100 stars if I could. Did a through inspection 3 weeks ago and they told me it’s all good and good for a road trip. The battery died then. Anderson is the supervisor of this inspection and the inspection report he provided says “visual ok”. Does this look like “visual ok”? And when he handles my complaint, first no one contacted me in 7 days, then I sent a second email, then he sounds irritated and blamed me for “why only file a complaint on him”. Unprofessional!!! Just reevaluate your staff! Worst mechanic experience ever.
We had a great experience at this Firestone location. We needed a tire replaced on our rental, and the manager, Anderson, went above and beyond to explain what was best for our safety. He even helped us get another rental so we wouldn’t have to drive a damaged and dangerous vehicle.

Absolutely the worst Firestone I have ever been to. Manager & staff are rude and try to over sell you on services you do not need. It’s unfortunate that you cannot trust anything they tell you. Terrible attitude from staff. Do not go here!
I came in on a Sunday afternoon without an appointment. They moved quickly, were honest about wait times, fixed my car with a $7 part, changed the oil, and it was done within a couple hours. I have never had that easy of a time in a same day scenario. If I could give you an 11 I would.
Customer since 2015. Went there for a wheel alignment but was sold on the 9.99 vehicle inspection. Checking the battery and brakes as well. Was told that my rear breaks were metal to metal and it was dangerous to even leave driving the car away. Was quoted for rear rotors, brakes, and new battery. It was also said my battery was about to die. The man said it was serious and leaving would dangerous to do so with the conditions of the brakes. I got all 4 rotors and front and rear brakes replaced exactly 1 year ago. I took the car to my personal mechanic to verify the condition of the brakes. The brakes were perfectly fine. The battery is also not about to die. Trying to take advantage of women who the workers think know nothing about vehicles is disheartening. Firestone scammers. Please reevaluate your workers and their practices. We're not all idiots. Your money empire shouldn't be made on scamming your customers into services they don't need. Avoid at all costs.
I went to get my two front tires replaced, but in the process, they scratched the rims. I only noticed the damage when I got home. Fortunately, I had taken pictures before and after the replacement, so I immediately called and informed them. They asked me to bring the vehicle in so they could inspect it, and I agreed.
The next day, I went back and showed them the pictures. To my surprise, they dismissed my concern, saying that scratches are common when replacing tires. They even asked me how else they were supposed to remove the tires without causing scratches. In the end, they offered to send the rims to a shop for repainting but insisted that I pay 50% of the cost. I refused, as all I had asked for was a simple touch-up, which they declined to do.
You failed to do the job properly and yet have the audacity to question me in return. Thanks for your service.
Anderson and the enitre lcoal team have been EXCELLENT in taking care of both my Tesla Model Y most recently and also FJ cruzer when i had it. They have always been attentive and deligent in addressing the things impacting the performance of my vehicles on the busted streets of NYC and NJ.
This Firestone is a trustworthy place to bring your car. Store Manager Anderson, helped me uncover some bad work done to my car by another location. He took time to listen to the issue, test it, and explain in detail to me what was going on. They fixed the issue and helped me get my car safe again. I have never been treated better or had better service and I’m incredibly grateful to feel I have a place to go that I trust.
I made an appointment today (01/10/2025) at 10.00 AM for 2017 Toyota Sienna tire change and I was inside by 9.58 AM.
But I was waiting for the quote until 10.45 AM, since their computer was not working and I left the store without installing.
Anderson is the best! He's incredible at what he does and is so quick to answer questions and look at my Bronco when anything is wrong. He always does his best to fit you in. Thanks Anderson!

Ok here are the details as you have asked for them:
- I have been coming to this place to do wheel alignments for years.. lately I moved but decided to keep coming to this place as they did the decent job before. not the best, but decent.
- I had an appointment at 2pm till 3pm (as another advisor told me on the phone). came back to pick the car at 4:45pm. It still was not done, ended up holding it till 5:30. My guess they give lift whoever they find more important.
- you can take app at any time and will never be kept
- most importtaintly they even screwed up the alignment!
Stayed 30min in the office waiting for someone to talk to me and even though there were 3 staff members in there nobody even acknowledged me or the other person that was waiting too. I’m not the type of person that likes to give bad reviews. But the owner should be aware the lack of customer service of his business. No wonder this place has 3.6 stars… I ended up leaving still with no acknowledgement. Went to the next auto service down the road. I got immediately greeted by someone and solved my car problem.
Review: The Worst Tire Service Experience Ever!
I purchased 4 tires and paid $109 for installation through eBay. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM this morning at this location, expecting professional and timely service. Unfortunately, my experience was far from that.
I arrived at 8:50 AM, checked in with Emilio as instructed, and immediately completed the CarAdvise check-in process. While the CarAdvise app confirmed the approval, Emilio repeatedly claimed they hadn’t received it. Despite my requests to refresh or check again, he ignored me, forcing me to contact CarAdvise support myself. After over 30 minutes of back-and-forth, CarAdvise had to call Firestone directly to explain how incompetent their staff was (see photo).
Before the approval was acknowledged, Emilio told me I might have to wait longer because the installation was supposedly “free,” even though I had already paid $109 upfront on eBay. He then informed me the installation would take up to 2.5 hours.
To make matters worse, instead of starting the job immediately, Emilio and his coworker (possibly Jose) decided to have breakfast in front of me! This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customers is unacceptable.
Finally, when the installation was done, I discovered they had replaced my tire caps with broken ones. See the attached photo for proof.
Bottom line: The most unprofessional, disrespectful staff I have ever encountered. Emilio and his team lack both competence and customer service skills. Avoid this place at all costs!
I followed Anderson from the Bayonne store to Jersey City. He's been working with me since approximately 2018. Anderson makes you comfortable while explaining in depth what needs to be done. I came in a few weeks ago to get tires and my brakes done. They were professional and knowledgeable. He recommended having the serp belt done. Although Anderson explained that the belt didn't need to be done right away. I'm here today to have the belt done.
These guys are professional, knowledgeable and just all around great individuals.

I should have had my 8 year old son change the wheel bearings in my car, because maybe then I wouldn’t have the horrible experience that I’ve had at Firestone. I originally took my bmw X2 here because of a sound that I was hearing. They told me that I needed to change the wheel bearings which cost almost $900 and my brakes $1300. My warranty covered the wheel bearings. I told them I’ll change the brakes at another time. A few days after bringing my car here my car started making sounds again. I then took the car to bmw, which told me that a very important bolt was missing, and that the last place I took the car, had to forget to put it back. After this incident my car basically fell apart, I mean axel on the floor. I went back to the manager Anderson Cruz, and he flat out told me he is not fixing the issue! BMW also said that the brakes were 90% new in the front , and brand new in the back. I didn’t even need brakes. They also told me they couldn’t do a wheel alignment even though it was necessary after changing the bearings. My next step is to take them to court as this issues caused over $5000 in damages. Stay away from this horrible place! If I could give negative 5 stars I will! Liars , scammers and don’t care about their customers.

I should have taken my car to a kindergarten class for what I got.
Booked an appointment online for drop-off Friday morning at 7AM (2013 Volvo S60). It's my daughter's car, so trying to do some work before taking it back to her at college.
So.....Dropped off at 706 AM. Verbally asked for tune-up, oil change and to assess why my check-engine light was on. At 717 AM, I received the emailed work order. OK....I would like to say, I did not thoroughly review the work order. That will come into play later. BUT having heard nothing around lunchtime. I called at 1:02 PM to ask what the deal was, I had gotten no call to understand my diagnostics and align on a plan. They said it was JUST being hooked up for Diagnostics. 😡😡
Having heard nothing yet again, I called back at 5:07 PM only to be told, I needed to take it to a Volvo dealership because it was an electrical issue. I said OK well what about my oil change????!!!! They were like you didn't ask for an oil change. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. Which I did verbally when I dropped it off. They said well you didn't in the online appt request. 🙁🙁. Right, but I asked for it when I dropped the car off.
I'm like...so it took you all day to tell me you couldn't help me???? Pls just change my oil.
Then I got in the car, no oil change sticker. I go back in like where is my sticker???? Instead of removing the OLD one, they just put the new one up.
Like the service and attention to detail is zero.
I take responsibility for not seeing that the oil change was missing from the work order. Nonetheless, this was not an All Day service.
Always professional and accommodating. Easy access if you Stay to the right on rt between Central and off 139 w. Minutes from Holland Tunnel.Knowledgeable sales people, good job done and the service was completed and within 2 hours. Again, they were very courteous, it's clean and they do have restrooms and a vending machine.
The manager, Anderson Cruz, was exceptionally helpful, courteous, and professional. I was traveling from out of state and needed to have the front end of my 2011 Mazda inspection for a potential front suspension issue. They took the car right on time, explained everything that the mechanic had done to alleviate the issue, reviewed my repair history from local Massachusetts Firestone service center, and honored the warranty without any labor charge! When does that happen!!!! Definitely a more than 5 star experience.
Anderson and his team at Firestone always go above and beyond to provide excellent service to everyone who walks through their doors. Traveling on business, your worst nightmare is getting a flat tire in your rental car. When this happened, Anderson went above and beyond to help resolve the situation. He and his team are kind, timely, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone!!

While I had poor experience here +5 years ago, the current team led by Eddie/Eduardo is top notch and aces! I cannot begin to praise this team enough for their incredible professionalism, quality service, and customer-first mindset.
Sept 19, 2022 - I picked up a screw on my interstate trip, and despite the shop being absolutely slammed, Eddie and his tech were able to get my tired repaired and back on the road within 90 mins.
Oct 9, 2022 - I picked up a nail (gotta love NYC roads) and didn’t have an appointment until 12 noon, but Eddie and his team got it repaired within 30 mins before noon.
I will be loyal to this shop, because of their honesty and dedication to their customers. Cannot say enough about how grateful I am for Eddie and his team - They truly set the bar!
This place has the most absolute worst customer service skills that I have ever experienced. Dropped my car off and it took one week of continuous back and forth for an oil change and inspection of my loud exhaust and wobbly brakes.
When I come in today to pick it up I asked the customer service rep hey can you let me know what works been done and the charges. He replies “Yeah exactly what I told you the last two times you called.”
Well silly me I thought as a customer I’d be able to ask him What work was done before I paid hey $600 bill.
And the kicker is as I get in the car to drive away look up and realize they couldn’t even be bothered with updating the oil change sticker.
This place is a joke. Never coming back here.
The place is busy, so plan ahead to saty for at least 1 hour per car.
The staff is courteous, but it appears that they are always short staffed.
The place does need some cleanup. The restrooms are filthy and there are weeds growing everywhere outside. The parking is haphazard. If they can have a makeover with proper staffing, it is a good place to get your cars serviced.
