I’ve been to 10 wholesalers in NJ over the last few weeks and this was by far the worst experience.
No parking, unhelpful staff on entering - we disturbed their lunch at 230pm. Finally got someone to help us, didn’t know where their slabs were, and ultimately unhelpful.
Save your time and go somewhere else.
NYS delivered poor service and in the end sold us flawed stone. While sourcing the stone, we had good dialog with the salesperson Rami, but Rami did not meet us at the warehouse or arrange for anyone to take us around to look at stone. We found something we liked but had to choose by photos because no one showed us anything when we were in person. Worst of all, the stone was delivered to our fabricator with ring marks on it, I assume from initial transportation. Now the stone is in my kitchen and the rings are all I can see. I asked NYS to help with paying to have the stone polished and they have been unresponsive. Thousands of dollars later, and now we have to fix stone that shouldn’t have been sold to us in this condition in the first place. Disappointing!
Greatest selection of natural stones, you’ll want to redo your entire house after visiting…their staff is very kind and helpful and delivery was prompt and smooth. Highly recommended
We used New York Stone on our recent renovation. Rami Paradise was extremely helpful finding us the perfect stones for our kitchen, butler's pantry, laundry and powder rooms. She was involved throughout the process, responding immediately when we needed her, and making sure everything was taken care of. The guys in the warehouse were also very patient and helpful, as was Rami's manager when we needed to make a change to our order. They got the product to our fabricators on time, and even separated the orders to allow us to work on one section of the house at a time. We will happily use them again and recommend them to friends and family.
I am an interior designer. I ordered stone for the countertop of a built in I designed. They delivered it to the fabricator quickly and my clients are happy with the results. I will definitely use them again!
We worked with Ahmet on finding the perfect slab for our kitchen counters. We visited many different stone suppliers and are generally pretty picky. Ahmet was excellent to work with and I will be recommending him and NY Stone to my friends, family, and clients. Highly recommend!
They have nice things but beware they can send you slabs that you did not choose. Make sure that they don't cheat you and give you the wrong items. Then it will just delay your project.
New York Stone has a wide selection, and I was able to find a particular color of marble tile for two bathrooms. I went to the warehouse in New Jersey, but they also have a showroom in Manhattan. I worked with Dmitri, who was a pleasure to deal with. The tiles arrived quickly and in good condition. For any natural stone tiles or slabs, New York Stone will likely be the first and last place you need to visit.
