Horrible! The ladies that work there are useless. They have extreme attitude and are extremely unprofessional. As a business, they need to do better. Would never recommend this business and will never use them again. Such a waste of time.
Feb 02, 2026 -
Update: The owner is now making things up. I have left many positive reviews for other businesses, which anyone can easily verify. Even if I hadn’t, a customer’s review history is irrelevant to how they are treated in a store. Instead of addressing their own behavior, the owner keeps deflecting, exaggerating, and personally attacking customers. This pattern of denial and hostility only further confirms the lack of professionalism described above. Again, I strongly suggest reading the owner’s replies before visiting — they speak for themselves. —————— Update after owner’s reply: The response from the owner says more than I ever could. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, they chose insults and aggressive language. More importantly, they openly admitted to reviewing surveillance footage after a negative review was posted to analyze customer behavior. That alone explains why the heavy surveillance feels uncomfortable. Their reaction, tone, and behavior only reinforce doubts about professionalism. I encourage anyone considering this place to read the owner’s replies carefully before visiting. ——— The most noticeable thing about this place is the attitude. The woman at the front is rude, impatient, and clearly annoyed by customers. Instead of feeling helped, you feel like you are bothering her just by being there. This is a strange way to treat people in a customer-facing job. This attitude also shows up online. The business seems obsessed with replying to negative reviews, often in a defensive and aggressive tone. Rather than trying to improve, the replies sound thin-skinned and hostile. Reading those responses makes it easy to understand why so many people had bad experiences. The environment itself is uncomfortable. There is heavy and obvious surveillance, and the staff seems overly focused on watching customers rather than providing service. Based on how quickly and personally they reply to negative reviews, it feels like footage is reviewed to figure out who left what review after they leave. On the bright side, I hope they continue keeping all that footage — detailed records can be useful if repeated patterns of behavior ever need to be reviewed or exposed. Another concern came up after my visit. I logged into my email on their computer only to print documents and logged out properly. Shortly after leaving, I received a scam call related to that email account. This may be a coincidence, but the timing is concerning. No harm was done because it was clearly a scam, but it raises questions about basic data safety and professionalism. Overall, the attitude alone ruins the experience. If you enjoy being treated with disrespect and passive-aggressive behavior, this might be the place for you. If not, there are many better options run by people who actually seem to want customers.

Post Net is a pillar of unflappable help to Jersey City. Rich and Isa go above and beyond everytime. They are my go to for printing special projects to shipping the most diffcult packages. Photo attached of large custom hand made glass neon sign that Rich packaged and shipped to LA. Made it in perfect conditions!!

I went into the store to ask if they could staple my documents, but neither of the two employees seemed concerned about my request. I understand it’s not the main role of the stor to just stample but I said I was willing to pay for it. I was the only customer there, so they could have easily taken the time to help. They first told me they couldn’t do it, and then said they didn’t have a stapler, even though I clearly saw one. It’s a shame to see a business so poorly customer-oriented. And after checking the recent reviews (almost all one-star), it seems I’m not the only one.

One of the worst service I ever had in USA ….. only aim is not making money they have to understand the customer situation also …..that lady is terrible behavior….?

This place is useless. The staff is rude and every time I go in it feels like they change what they can / can’t do. Don’t even bother wasting your time, higher probability to be disappointed than complete your transaction. Side note: upon sifting through their reviews the owner is the type to go back and fourth with unsatisfied customers with petty remarks and digs. Not the type of business or business owner that I’d want to give my money to. EDIT: Case in point, please refer to the business owners response. Rest assured I’ll never be stepping foot again. Your ratings and reviews speaks volumes on the kind of environment this place has: rude, combative, and immature. Seeing a business owner respond to reviews like a Reddit troll shows the kind of customer service this place provides.

I called to inquire about what turn around time normally is on a large print job. All I wanted to know was if it was possible for them to get 5 large posters printed in 4 days time. They dismissively said to email for a quote. Neither people I talked to could answer my very simple question and were incredibly rude saying they had customers in store to deal with. Then why have a phone number to call?! The woman I talked to was incredibly presumptuous and dismissive instead of actually listening to what I was asking. All they needed to do to answer my question and get my business was to say “yes that’s possible”. I Just read through some of the other reviews on here and seeing the owners defensive, childish, and bully like responses tells me so much about and confirms their terrible customer service. I later called a print shop, Unique Print NY, who happily answered my simple question about turn around times, kindly requested an email for a quote, and so helpfully walked me through the process. So they will be getting my business now! Btw, I never go out of my way to write reviews, but this situation felt deserving of one.

This place doesn't offer receipt upon receiving my packages nor provide label-printing service. So you are 100% on your own when you don't have label already printed and put on the package. And you are running at your own risk of losing the package if the staff receive them in front of you. I am very surprised this business has last for this long without improving the necessity to keep customers' packages safe.

thank god this is here, very few options in the area for these services. Treat the staff with the basic respect they deserve, and you will get it back.

Have never had a pleasant experience in this store living in Jersey City for over 10 years. I will drive or walk anywhere to avoid the staff here which simply radiate unpleasantness. They approach every customer interaction as though they can’t wait to be dismissive. Weird. Why buy a service oriented customer facing business if you hate your customers before they do business with you???

I’ve been here several times to mail and notarize things. They’re the friendliest folks ever and super helpful. They helped me find package mailing options that were the most cost effective while arriving in a timely manner. Thank you!

Hi, I popped on to get their hours and happened to notice the low review which took me aback. So I felt compelled to write a review. I have shipped internationally, have packages shipped their due to theft in my building. (Thank goodness for this service.) The staff has always been lovely and so helpful. I think a big issue can be that people do not know the difference between an independent shipping center VERSUS, fedex/ups and Amazon drop centers. Which explains why people expect things for free/printed confirmation return labels etc.

I strongly advise against using this business for any mail services. Over two years, I paid for a mailbox but never received notifications or scans of my mail. Instead, my correspondence including financial statements was opened without my consent and simply kept in a folder. When I finally requested to pick up my mail, a courteous staff member initially tried to setup a mail forward but was met with resistance by the owner/manager they were extremely rude, refused to address my concerns, and ultimately canceled my mailbox without warning. I was shocked because I didn't understand what their attitude was all about. It was the first time I spoke with them. Talk about deranged? As someone with a physical disability who cannot stand or walk for long periods, this treatment was especially insensitive. I believe their actions are not only unethical and potentially fraudulent, but also discriminatory. I have since contacted the authorities regarding the handling of my mail. In my experience, this owner has shown disrespectful, unprofessional, and possibly biased behavior. Consider taking your business elsewhere for a more trustworthy and accommodating service. Response to the Owner: Your refusal to provide my mail, coupled with abrupt cancellation of my mailbox after I voiced legitimate concerns, demonstrates unprofessional conduct. I believe your actions toward me were discriminatory, and your staff’s behavior reflects the same lack of respect. Thankfully I involved the authorities to ensure my mail was returned and my rights are protected. I received a full refund but my stolen and/or misplaced information cannot be recovered.

I have been going here for years. Always easy no matter what i need to do, staff is unformed and i do not have to deal with the post office. I am very happy to pay more, the knowlegable, courteous service.

bad attitude. My friend thought it was a free dropping place because he had the shipping label. He did not realize it would cost the plastic pouch fee. The guy replied” do you work for free?”It would be fine if he explained it in a nice way. But his facial expression and words made my friend uncomfortable

They “misplaced” my package and it never left their facility. The worker said she was going to take my self-addressed usps package and put it in standard mail even though that was not something they normally do to save me a trip to the post office and of course the package never made it to the destination. Not trust worthy.

Just had the smoothest experience printing out some documents/notarizing a few things. Unsure of the hate in the reviews but I’d rather go here instead of Staples because it’s convenient and the staff was super helpful and nice. Some folks may feel entitled to have things their exact way bc that’s how they grew up but they’re a small business and not a post office/corporation. I am happy to support them and will be going to them for future needs!

I recently was looking for a reliable place to handle all my printing/shipping needs for work, and heard of PostNet through positive word of mouth. I went there during a busy work week and from the very moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed with a huge smile and pleasantries. There was a kind young lady working behind the counter who helped me with all my needs. My packages were shipped with zero hassle, all documents printed quickly, and pricing was very cost friendly. They also have any supply needed for school, business, or packaging needs for purchase on site. I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service provided, and for that, have definitely won me over for all of my future business needs. Thanks you!

I've had a few large items printed here and the experience was always SEAMLESS! Very organized, always pleasant, and an extremely kind staff. Went above and beyond for a rush order to ensure it was completed on time for me. Definitely highly recommend using PostNet for all your printing needs!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Post Net on Grove Street, and I must say, the customer service was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the two girls working the front desk area. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to help made my experience truly enjoyable. I had a last minute package to send and they helped me immediately. Their patience and positive attitude were greatly appreciated. It's rare to find such dedicated and enthusiastic customer service nowadays, and Isa and Casey truly set a high standard. Thanks to them, I'll definitely be returning to Post Net for any of my shipping needs!!

7/30 ORIGINAL REVIEW This is probably the rudest service I ever got. I truly recommend to stay away from this place. 7/31 EDITS FOLLOWING OWNER RESPONSE The only reason my wife kept coming to the store was because you are the only drop-off point close to our house - Don't worry - we won't make that mistake again. And for the record - it was *your staff* that was rude and disrespectful, not my wife. But don't take my word for it - just scroll down and see the dozens of customer responses below. Here are a couple of quotes from the last few months alone: "...to top it off they r so incredibly rude." "...Rude staff!" "..The least helpful staff, and exceptionally rude owner. "

Before patronizing this business, go look at the reviews from other customers, and how the owner of the business responds to negative reviews. The owner acts as though he is under siege by his own customers, striking back at anyone who complains, often in personal terms. Update: As expected, the owner has responded, calling me “entitled” and saying that I’ve never been to his store. But, in fact, I have been to the store and have spent money there. But only when I had no other options. The owner seems to approach his business with an enormous chip on his shoulder and a suspicion that everyone who walks into the store is a freeloader. It’s not a very customer-focused attitude, to say the least.

Update, still 5 stars! Just got a photo from notarized by one of owner's daughter. Banks in NJ will not notarize any forms with a photo that needs verification but they can do it here. Only $5 for first form and $2.50 for each additional form. Thank you for providing great service! Update; still 5 stars! The owner was very nice and fun to talk to. He gave a good price for passport photos - $16.99 for 1st set and only $7.99 for a 2nd set. He has photos of his own dog on the wall so people giving bad reviews stating he hates dogs doesn't make any sense. He also explained that he has an incident when he allowed a customer to come into the back with her dog on a leash and another customer tripped on the leash and fell down. He still allows dogs inside the front of the store where customers can see dogs easily and won't trip over them. Previous review: My own experience here was really positive (5 stars). The man at the desk was in the middle of helping another customer when I arrived. He still took the time to greet me and help me a little while he was with the other customer by telling me to fill out a shipping address for my package while I was waiting for him to finish. After he took my package to be shipped via USPS, I asked if it was still possible for them to do passport photos given the Covid pandemic and I would have to take my mask off for the photo. He said they could do it. I told him to help the next customer waiting behind me so she didn't have to wait even longer because of my passport photo taking extra time. During the passport photo service, he was both nice and funny. Overall, the man working there (who might be the owner Jeff people refer to in their reviews) was efficient, helpful and pleasant. I personally didn't witness any rude or unpleasant attitude from him like many of the 1 star reviews mentioned. When I was there a customer came in carrying a very cute dog. Another employee working there told her that they don't allow dogs in their store which looked like it upset the customer. It was then that I remembered there were people who gave a 1 star review only because they brought a dog into the store and were told dogs were not allowed. I personally love dogs but I can understand if pet dogs aren't allowed in the store if an employee or customers have a dog allergy. I was curious about the NY state and federal law regarding dogs in public places and was surprised that it states even emotional support dogs are not required to be allowed in public places. The only type of dogs that must be allowed by law are official service dogs. Many 1 star reviews also complained about the prices of things or that they didn't accept packages with shipping labels already placed on them for just drop off. I personally don't like paying more for something but I understand I am maybe paying more because of convenience. I am paying extra for being able to go to a closer location or to a place that provides a lot of different services all in one location. It doesn't upset me because I would only use this place once in a while when I am stuck and need it for the convenience. I can understand why it is better to have them print their own shipping labels to be scanned to ensure that if the package gets lost by USPS, UPS or FedEx then they can't blame the store who has scanned label proof that the store did not lose the package before dropping it off to them. One thing I did notice is my USPS package I arranged to be shipped 2 days ago is still in "the shipping label has been prepared and USPS facility is still waiting for its arrival" status. I guess I should have realized it would be a little quicker to mail a USPS package if I went to the post office directly. It's OK because there is no rush needed ( I paid for the cheapest way to get there). In the future if I want to save time by having a package to be sent directly from the post office instead of waiting for the package to be dropped off to the post office first, I will just remember to go to the post office instead.

GO SEE ISABEL!!!! This was the most seamless, smooth and easy printing experience I ever had. I was looking for quality prints, fast turn around time and clear legible pages. I actually got beyond that. Seriously, the best printing place for any all all needs.

The least helpful staff, and exceptionally rude owner. I had a question about the cost to ship items and they not only didn’t answer but were exceptionally dismissive. Bizarre behavior considering their prices are 30% higher than everywhere els in the neighborhood. I’m all for supporting small business but I’m not fully convinced they aren’t scammers. Save your energy and go to USPS/ FedEx / UPS directly.

Have been here a few times, and usually, my experiences are fine. This time, my partner and I walked in hurriedly 15 min before closing time after a busy day ourselves. Thinking we were being considerate of both the nearing closing time and our need to send out a few packages, we came fully prepared with our own tape, boxes in hand, and printed labels. To my surprise, we were met with judgment and assumption that we were just plainly inconsiderate for not having our packages fully prepared beforehand. We were told we would be "allowed this time" but not next time to box up on site. I don't appreciate either judgment or assumption. Especially considering there was literally no other customer there, which didn't warrant any kind of "warning." Also, it's a postal office where boxes are sold, labels can be printed, and envelopes sold. Why wouldn't people be allowed to pack/box up there if need be? Have some compassion for other people's situations/busy days/deadlines/unseen efforts, maybe?

Not sure about the negative reviews I see, I had a decent experience to get something printed up real quick. He did express disappointment in taking a credit card for a service that was only a couple of bucks (I didn't have cash), and charged me a little extra to do it (against merchant agreement with Visa/MC I believe). That's no different than a lot of small businesses, but it was an easy in and out to print something up when I didn't have a printer at home.
