Good service, bad food

The security guard that works there is a grumpy power tripping weirdo he told me I couldn’t not kiss my own wife after she was excited to eat and said thanks to me followed by I quick peck we weren’t making out nothing like that it was a 1 second kiss and we are adults and it felt like our constitutional rights were violated and he embarrassed us by screaming “ hey none of that in here!!!!” After I asked what he was speaking about he got angrier and he says “ matter of fact y’all gotta go!!” He proceeded to escort us out with our food that I just paid close to 30$ for never going there again I wish it would have been recorded so that I could sue him and the establishment for not stopping him abusing his job title.

Amazing workers. They worked very fast I always come here after school and everything is hot and crispy

You should stay open until 1am on Saturdays. Good place and location in a nice neighborhood so no need to worry about crime. I live in the area I work Saturday nights and get there right around 12am. People are still trying to get in thinking they are open I see it all the time. Popeyes is open until 2am just a few blocks away. Consider staying open late on weekends

I used to go this McDonald’s all the time because it had an Actor’s Federal Credit Union ATM. And it was free to withdraw money because they are in-Network Atm with my bank. Also if they charged you it was only 99 cent Atm fee. Of course I would always buy a snack when I go there too. Now their Atm is not free and expensive. So many McDonalds in the New York/ New Jersey area have Actor’s Federal Credit Union ATMs. They are just like the ATM’s at Wawa, Quickchek, and 7-11. They are free and very low cost for so many people. I wish you this McDonald’s would get back the Actor’s Federal Credit Union Atm. You will get more business guaranteed.

A worker came and offered us sauce while we were eating, and the food was good, The fries were filled to the brim

I went at night to pick up an order, they were preparing for closing which means that they were tired of their long working hours and yet their good sense of humor and friendly service was amazing. The lady who helped me deserves an A+

If I would of known with a postage sign before ordering that soda wasn't refillable, I could have taken my business somewhere else. I normally get my coffee in the mornings. Never noticed till I came to eat with the family. Plz add a postage sign by the cashier or in the front windows, acknowledging that this, in particular, McDonald's does not give refills. Customers aren't aware of this, and we should be. We shouldn't have to wait to go up to the cashier and ask for a refill, and then find out. Thank you, hoping to see a sign posted sorry no refills.

Ordered hotcakes to go and they gave me absolutely nothing with it. No utensils, no syrup, no butter. They forgot my apple slices as well, so I had to return for them. Inexperienced and forgetful staff.

Bad service and only gives 3 napkins then i asked for more she gave me 3 more like what McDonald's its on a budget like why pay 40 of food for 3 napkins smh will not be coming back its a shame cause my kids liked it here but your lost ill go elsewhere -10 and it say no pickles in the burgers guess what it has pickles in the burger like I don't understand how hard is it to read English

I have went here like thousand times, cutting 1 star for bad service. If I ask them about my order even if its right on their shelfs they don’t give it. I have to wait n after 5-10 mins they give me. Got to have patience.

After the renovation, the restaurant feels more open. There is more than enough space. We always use the mobile out of convenience. The food is always hot and tasty. This is the only place where the food actually looks like the pictures! The staff is always friendly (I always smile when I go into this place). Compared to other McDs in Jersey City, there is plenty of parking in the strip mall that it’s located in. It’s safe early in the mornings. I’m sure the rest of the day is the same. Traffic can get congested in the neighborhood. It’s Jersey City - what do you expect.

This is a great McDonald’s! They just renovated it so it’s new and clean. They decorate for holidays. The people seem happy to work here. And the food is what you expect from a McDonald’s, which is a good thing!

This Mckdonalds don't offer free refills so don't even ask for it. Tha's why is not busy

Its quick, good breakfast and the staff is overall as good as they get. However the hours are wrong. The place does not in fact open at 5am like it says on maps. Even on the door it says 6am. Hoping that will be fixed so that its no longer misleading

Mcdonalds is mcdonalds. I guess it's more about the service & the actual establishment than the food. Staff is nice & does their job well. Never had an issue with wrong items or rude service. The store itself is amazing tbh. For Xmas, it was decked out!! Tress/lights/gifts everywhere. Was beautiful, really. Now for vday same thing. Balloon hearts/red&pink lights/candy cutouts. They go all out for holidays. Always decorated like no McDonald's I've ever seen before! (**PS: My only & biggest issue with this particular mdcondqls is ... Don't order a regular. Burger/cheeseburger here. Idk why, but there is always a chunk or two in them of idk what. But it's not yummy!**bigmacs/mcdouble are fine it's always only the single cheese/burgers.**)

Charging 25 per ketchup sauce u only allowed, to have 1 ketchup per 6 pieces so u gotta eat your fries dry no sauce or u gotta pay 25$ each

No one speaks English why ?? All Spanish restaurant ?I don't know I always have trouble ordering food and I order the same thing from the same person every weekend? I don't know Spanish so maybe it's my fault. Getting my food is just as hard would love to talk to someone about this further if problems can't be resolved I have to go somewhere else I used to like McDonald's. They should hire at least one person that speaks English. I don't know

Don’t use to app to pick up especially for breakfast. I found out the order will not be put through unless you’re in the location. They had the order but it was not made, unfortunately I arrived at 11am. Placed the order 20 minutes before 11. Manager refused to make it or accommodate with other options.

A one star experience because of the rude manager became a five star experience due to the warm and kind hospitality shown by Mu the security guard. He welcomed us when we entered for us and opened the bathroom doors for us and replenished the diet coke fountain soda dispenser when it was not* working.

Hey, it's a McDonald's, so you know what you're getting as far as the menu is concerned. What we really want to know is what we're getting as far as the freshness of the menu and quality of workers. Nine times out of ten the food is great at this location, but I work in the food industry so i also know the best times to go to fast food places to get the fresh cooked fries! The workers have always been attentive and friendly at this location in my personal experience. I find myself skipping other McDonald's locations to go to this one instead because they have everything i appreciate from fresh cooked food to good employees to a very very clean dining room and a security guard who is very friendly but very firm in keeping out trouble makers.

I can't say enough positive things about the staff at this location. Without fail over the last few years my kids and wife have wanted happy meal toys for collecting. This staff NEVER refuses to go above and beyond to help the collecting. On top of that, the food surpasses our Hoboken location everyday of the week and twice on Sundays. I don't visit fast food often, but when I do, it's this location.

McDonald's is getting better good location clean place

The McDonald's is spacious, has very clean eating area and serves customers in a steadily manner most of the time. Around night time service usually slows down and if they're busy it will be a while before you get your order. They have a kiosk and accept mobile orders, which is a good alternative if you're on the go. The bathroom is only available if you make an order, in which case you talk to one of the employees to let you in. The male bathroom is often not the cleanest, so I would only recommend going if you really got to go.

The place & new design is nice! I was amazed when I ordered my food, the cashier gave me the option to wait my food at the table. He gave me a number. My children and I were waiting for our food for about 20 minutes and we never got our food. I had to pick up my food as usual. I think they need to organize better if they want to offer new services. Besides that, everything is good.
