Not very busy. Like all retail these days, struggling and closing locations. Thankfully ours is a newer store and the one corporate uses for its holiday setup showcase store model for others to follow Shoppers please comeback though. I hate online shopping. But retailers need to staff and retrain staff to interact with customers and not be invisible and hiding somewhere behind a checkout. Walk the floor. Do you need any help sorta thing.

Staff is very helpful and friendly, selections are organized and easy to find, cleaning is consistent but hard to keep up with due to crowding.

Jose’s attention was excellent, he gave me a very complete tour of the shoe area, I found what I was looking for and I was satisfied, I will definitely go again!!!

First and foremost macys is awesome. I went today to get a dress outfit for my 13 year old son and got helped by a wonderful associate named julieta. She went above and beyond to Mae sure I had the right sizes at the most amazing price. She is at the men’s department and she was very professional and helpful and courteous. Its a big, classic department store. I'm an old lady. There are nowhere near enough places for a person to take a rest, sit down, in between shopping. When I left tge building someone had kindley placed chairs and tables outside. I sat there to recover. Obviously inside is a fascinating, da t Ed shopping experience. Strange that it still exists without evolving. The wooden escalators took me back!

First time I went today. I spent lot of time there. But There is a lady ,I think name was zeba.she is a very nice person and very co-operative with customer.Her behavior also very good.I hope when I will go again I will buy perfume after consulting with her.

Needed help in the home department and asked the associate name Jessica, she had glasses and was in the bedding section, she ignored me and rushed by, she just pointed in a direction, she didn't even look or talk to me because she had her phone in her face. Can't believe the rudeness in some of the employees at this location

As a visitor from the UK I very much regret the demise of the department store. I rarely shop for clothes these days but Maceys have all the major brands and more under one roof. We visited during the sales and some of the deals are amazing. I did find that the changing rooms were not well signposted. Other than that top marks!

I bought sunglasses and I retuned them to the store in less than 30 days period. Instead of 171$ they return to me 155$ I spoke with Ben in sunglasses department and he was triennial to convince me that it’s correct. I’m disappointed awfully

Just visited this location of Macy’s today at Newport mall. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything good to say. The seasonal workers are very overwhelming. They have a bunch of them all lined up together around the fragrance area, trying to get you to buy or smell a fragrance. As someone who does not like being approached unless asked, this experience was very irritable inducing. You’ll have workers (a lot of men) walking around and greeting/watching you. It is very uncomfortable and overwhelming as a shopper who prefers to shop in peace. If I have a question or need assistance, I will approach. I do not need 8 people at a time asking if I want to smell a new scent. Please, rework the duties of your sales associates.

Bhupinder was extremely helpful today. I wanted a Jasmine perfume and she went out of the way to help me. I knew for a fact that Macy's employees rely on the vendors to explain their perfumes but she immediately knew what I wanted and got me exact the perfume! She's going to be my new perfume lady now! I am not going anywhere else for perfumes. Absolutely loved the way she had immense knowledge about what she was doing.

Subject: Commendation for Outstanding Customer Service – Cesar Saarvedra I would like to commend employee Cesar Saarvedra for going above and beyond with the exceptional customer service I received today. After attempting to contact several Macy’s stores in Pennsylvania—with no luck and no one answering the phone regardless of the extension—I reached out to the Corporate Office. They informed me that the item I needed was available at the Newport Mall location. When I called, Cesar answered. Although the item was not in his department, he kindly told me that the store had two in stock. He assured me that if I didn’t hear back from the correct department, I could call him again and he would personally walk over and take care of it. The department never returned my call, so I reached back out to Cesar as instructed. True to his word, he told me not to worry—he would handle everything. And he did. My order has now been shipped, and thanks to Cesar’s dedication and follow-through, my 9-year-old granddaughter will soon be a very happy little girl. Cesar provided the kind of thoughtful, proactive customer service that truly makes a difference. He deserves to be recognized and appreciated for his outstanding support.

Whenever I want to buy perfume I come to Macy's but my opinion has changed due to this recent incident. I was looking for buying perfume this Saturday with my boyfriend and an Indian lady at the counter was helping us, she was showing us D&G perfume which I had planned to buy. We told her we would look around and come back. Then we proceeded to check out Mugler Angel perfume. I asked another lady standing there about it's price. She was extremely nasty and vile, she made a face and told us to ask the one who showed us previously. Her badge read Maxine and I was surprised with the hostility and aggressive behavior. We left without buying anything and plan to never come back! I mean why should I tolerate anything nasty even though I am spending my money.

I needed help with a coat and this girl Natalie stated that she couldn’t help me because she’s from fulfillment she was extremely rude if she didn’t want to help me she could’ve directed me to someone who can help me. She was unprofessional. Talking on her phone the whole time maybe that’s why she didn’t want to help. Macys do better on who you hire.

Black Friday promotions are in full swing, with many items at attractive discounts. Macy’s members also receive an extra 30% off! As an overseas visitor, I was fortunate to be assisted by Kevin from the men’s department. He showed exceptional patience and dedication while guiding me through the registration process. His professionalism and genuine helpfulness truly deserve special recognition.

Andrea was incredibly helpful during my shopping trip today. She took the time to ask what I was looking for and made the whole experience smooth and easy. Her product knowledge really stood out. She helped me find exactly what I wanted, including some great Polo Ralph Lauren items. Thanks to her, I saved time and actually enjoyed the shopping process. She was friendly, efficient, and very on point. I really appreciated her help and would definitely recommend asking for her if you’re shopping at Macy’s.

Huge shoutout to Trevor at the Macy’s cologne department for delivering one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. At first, he probably thought I was just browsing, but he built up the confidence to approach me and offer help, and I’m so glad he did. Trevor went above and beyond assisting me in finding Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, and Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances. He didn’t just point me in the right direction; he took the time to go through each line, explaining the notes, differences, and giving his personal recommendations with genuine passion and knowledge. His professionalism, patience, and positive attitude made the entire experience enjoyable. Because of him, I ended up purchasing three colognes that I absolutely love. To the Macy’s store manager, shift leader, and team leader, please recognize this man. Trevor truly deserves acknowledgment for going above and beyond!

Very good store. Not as big as the famous store in manhattan but to my opinion even better because you can be more focused. When we arrived there was a great discount basically most of the store. The cleaners section a bit out of order between sizes but I found there some great stuff. And of course no tax store.

As always to look around and shop for a sale. The place is packed due to all the customers. The sales clerk seemed to have a little attitudes. Some sale clerks seemed they didn't want tot be bothered. Overall I enjoyed my trip and ignore the bad sales reps.

This is a gorgeous Macy’s store that spreads over 3 floors. It’s bright, clean and looks so glossy. There’s a passageway that connects the parking lot. Lots of people walk thru this store to enter the mall. They have apparel, accessories, cosmetics, shoes, home goods, toys and so much more. Prices are similar to other Macy’s and the website. Throughout the year they have promotional sales and discounts on different products. I have found good deals on men’s shirt and for my daughter’s clothing. Plenty of associates are available in each department to assist customers.

I am having pretty bad experience from support team, very bad behaviour by a guy who picked up the phone. I have been calling them for hours providing all the details they needed to retrieve the receipt. All they need to do was attach the receipt to my email. Even with repeated request, he put down the phone very rudely. This was required as I am in emergency to file police report for my stolen items. EDIT: Store manager was very helpful and provided all the details.

Not one person in this store is helpful. I tried to contact the accessories department and there are only three options on the phone line indicating 1. fragrances, 2. women's clothing shoes and accessories, 3. men's clothing shoes and accessories. it connected me with a women in young mens who promptly said "hello" rudely and then said i had to contact the jewelry dept and I explained the three options and they hung up. Then I tried calling back to which I they refused to answer the phone. No Macy's employees are ever kind.

This woman was in Macy’s at Newport Center yesterday 5/17 with her dog. The dog defecated all over the floor in the dress section and she didn’t pick it up. A store employee had to warn people walking by not to step on the mess. Why is this allowed? That dog was definitely not an emotional support animal. Macy’s please do better.

Macy's is a great store to shop for all your fashion needs. The pricing is good compared to other brands, and the store is always clean. One thing to note is that during peak hours, the checkout lines can get a bit long, so it's best to plan accordingly. The space is quite large, and you can find almost all the best clothing brands selling their products at a discount. Their "backstage" section is particularly noteworthy, as it has some amazing deals on offer. Overall, Macy's is a great place to find everything you need for your wardrobe at affordable prices.

Slow service . Nobody cares here anymore after COVID. It’s crazy and not acceptable if you are in the service industry. Macys may need to focus on training their employees a bit better.
