I called here to ask a question about a product - not a big deal and something they keep at the register. The guy that picked up seemed like he didn’t want to look right from the get go, and then did, and then got back on the phone only to sound like he was irritated for looking, instead of coming back on to tell me what he found, someone else gets on the phone. Instead of being honest and either saying he did not want to help, couldn’t help, or just make up a lie, he passes me off to someone else and they just said oh he had to do something. Clearly, I’m not stupid, and I go in there often for stuff. I knew I should have just hung up from the beginning. I would much rather someone be honest and just say I am busy, call back or let me find someone else who can help you, don’t just pass it off and have them lie for you. I’d rather give my business to another location than even deal with them again. Who knows if the kid told me the truth but the person that I was on the phone with was Dee. If you are in a managerial position please from now on , just don’t pick up the phone or have others do it for you because to help a customer seemed like a major inconvenience for you this afternoon.
Excellent service. I received help with my battery replacement from one of the store managers. They were kind enough to replace it for me. Very grateful for the help.
I’ve found the staff/manager come across as super patronizing which makes asking any questions super uncomfortable. I always leave feeling talked down to. And the level of assistance is pretty minimal. It feels like you are on your own unless you already know exactly what you need. For a place that’s supposed to help customers with car issues, I expected some level of guidance and basic customer service.
I hate to make this review about race but thats exactly what happens when coming in this store for one nobody follows the rules when u come in if your a women they try to scam u and not help u if u a guy they dont even offer help at all me and my husband came in because we were having issues with the car went in asked if we can get a loner only because its was something simple and just needed it for 5 mins we were told they dont have loners to give at all not for certain things they said at all so here I am today here another guys says we always have loners im like we was always told they didnt they dont speak when u come in the fast talk u instead of listening its just a over all bad store and I wish someone higher up come in as a customer just to see how they do things at this store
The bald guy who I think is a manager is completely rude. There’s been a few times where I delt with him where he has complete rude responses and today was the final straw. And looks like I’m not the only one who’s complaining about him based off the other reviews. Do something.
I really appreciated the help that Max gave me at the store at 510 S Alafaya Trail last night when I needed a replacement battery. He had everything ready to go and swapped out my battery in very short order. He also tested my alternator and recommended I have it replaced.
I recently came to this store looking for an item and left feeling extremely patronized (by who I presume is either the owner is store manager). There is an appropriate way to speak to people… and that was not it.
I visited AutoZone on the way to the nearby car wash. I needed a few sand boosters and deodorizer for my car. The staff was super warming and greeted me as soon as I walked in every single person in the store that is, they asked me if I needed anything directed me to where it was once I checked out, they were super friendly. We talked about snacks and how their day was going. I really enjoy personable interactions like this. It makes going outside a little less insufferable 10 out of 10.
They are very helpful and informative. I’m not a car guy but it was enough for me to understand. They helped my dad as well in the past. 10/10 would shop again!
Wade provided excellent service. Answered my questions, offered suggestions when I asked and was very honest. Installed my battery quickly and overall good to work with! Very much recommend this Auto Zone for your car care needs.
At least 12 years coming to this place to buy stuff for my car, and never, ever I had the horrible assistance from the salesman or manager not sure, (the one on the photo). Since I enter to the store his attitude towards me was very unpleasant, not helpful. It looks like he hates I was there. At the end I didn’t buy the synthetic oil that I was looking for. Very sad because always there I feel appreciate and treated with respect.
The guys on shift tonight were amazing and so so helpful they helped me with my light bulbs to my car and just went above and beyond to help me with my vehicle and not just trying to make a dollar off of me and understood my concerns and answered my questions they were super knowledgeable respectful and highly helpful these young men deserve a raise.
My girlfriend and I came in with her car after her battery failed. Because of the placement of the battery originally they could not do anything, but after contacting insurance and getting no help, Lizarraga came back out and offered to get it done for us. Super helpful, super quick. Thank you guys!
Joesph Lizarraga (the manager) was amazing. I still don’t know what really happened but he was determined to fix it. I had a battery issue and my hubby told me to take it to get charged . It didn’t charge and checking the warranty bought up a big issue and I’m still confused and mad but he took very good care of it for me and made sure I had a battery. If you need anything go see Joesph on Alafaya trail a store number # 04838. Please find away Autozone of keeping a record of who does what with each purchase because that information would have been very important for me! These mistakes can affect a persons life and character. Record keeping is important! I wish I had my own records today. But all in all he and his staff was amazing.
Just had the most pleasant experience at this Autozone. From start to finish Dee was very professional and helpful. He made me feel at ease about the whole transaction. He tested my battery, helped me decide which one to get, and replaced it all within less than 10 minutes. He was very nice and treated me like family. Thanks Dee!! I had a great experience at AutoZone thanks to the outstanding help from Dee, the store manager. My car battery was dying, but fortunately it was still under warranty. Dee quickly verified the warranty, helped with the replacement, and even assisted with the installation. Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient—excellent customer service all around!
I stopped by to pick up some oil and when i tried to leave my car wouldn't start. Joe was super helpful coming out to test my battery and letting me know my starter was done for. He helped push start my car so I could bring it to a mechanic and get my it all fixed up and he didn't ask for a dime! Thanks a ton for the help guys and special shout out to Joe for all the advice!!
The guy at the register, his name was Max. I called him over the phone and told him I needed brakes brakes that I needed. He got him ready for me for when I arrived cause I just got off of work, And I don’t have much time in general So when I got there he had the brakes ready he got power steering fluid for me because I asked them for it as well. He was very attentive very informative. I really really did appreciate him telling me everything that I needed to know about The brakes so props to him I’m definitely gonna be coming back here. He deserves a raise. Thank you so much, man. I appreciate it.
Joseph took care of me, this location off of Alafaya will work with their customers especially loyal ones! Don’t go to the Auto Zone off of Rouse rd, the store manager Richard refused to install my car battery & told me it was a courtesy & not policy to install a customers battery upon purchase. They were rude & basically ran me out of the store but coming to the Auto Zone on Alafaya & receiving the service I did restores my faith in the brand.
I went in to diagnose and replace my car battery today and I just need to give a shout out to Tony. He was so helpful and made the experience as easy as possible! I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. He was fantastic.
Joseph the store manager provided excellent and immediate service with my battery problem today with a no charge swap under warranty. This store went above and beyond by doing it themselves when other places told me they’d charge extra due to having to remove a duct cover. Thank you store 4838 for the great service today!
Had a great experience with Joseph. He went above and beyond. My battery had major corrosion. It needed a new terminal. He searched high and low through the store. Found me the cheapest part possible and changed out both the battery and terminal. He probably saved me $400 and a long trip to the dealer. Ask for Joseph. He is the man!
Knowledgeable staff and will help install batteries. I don't think they do batteries for cars where it's hard to reach the battery, such as Cadillac or Mercedes.
I had a bad experience when a new battery I purchased there went dead. After bringing it back, one of the managers said I should have 'gave it a jump and I should have been ok'. I don't want to jump start a battery that was purchased a few days ago. So I left it to get it charged but after picking it up after a few hours and trying the battery again, the battery just charged did not turn on the battery. After going on YouTube for help, it said it's best if I have a battery tester. So I purchased one from Harbour Frieght, tested the battery and it showed under 12 volt charge. I took it off and tested my other vehicle that has a battery of over 2 years. The battery showed over 12 volts. I again returned the battery to the store and brought my tester with me. They took my battery and after checking it they declared it as no good, this is the same battery they had supposedly charged the day before. These batteries are very heavy. Removing and hauling them around is time consuming and uncomfortable. It was like they have given me a battery that was probably already returned by someone else and placed back in the shelf and/or the battery was never charged when I brought it back. I accepted the new battery after I confirmed with the tester I brought with me that the charge on it was good, it was 12.7 volts. After placing it back, hooking it up and turning the key, everything started like it should have. You figure out where they went wrong.
