Honestly, I never used them. When I called, the AI assistant wouldn't answer my questions without taking my personal information, but all I wanted was a quote. It doesn't need my personal information to tell me about the possible cost of a repair.

My girlfriend and I went into Allyz Auto to get our car repaired. The initial, free AI estimate based on pictures of the damage came out to less than $5,000. The first employee we worked with, Al, had us sign documents consenting to a more thorough estimate for the repair, which would involve taking the car apart. The signed document warned that this service would cost 4% of the amount of the final estimate, which would be waived if we decided to continue working with Allyz Auto. At the time of signing, we established that we would have our insurance company pay for the repair, and Al warned us that it likely take some fighting to get them to pay. This final estimate came out to just shy of $12,000. They walked us through how to file a claim with the insurance company, who initially came back with an estimate of $2,500. After sending them the estimate from the body shop, they adjusted it to $5,700. At this point, we asked Allyz Auto to walk us through the differences in the estimate. We met the owner Juan, who did this for us. He stated that one large difference was that because he needed to replace the right rear door, and match and blend the paint color to the rest of the car, this would require him to remove and reinstall the roof rails, windshield trim, front right fender, and front bumper, which entails about 20 hours of labor and costs about $1,200. The other differences included other labor costs for removing and reinstalling the parts directly affected by the accident, purchasing OEM parts, supplies, etc. At this point, we were given 3 options on how to proceed. Option 1: we could pay the difference for the repair costs not covered by the insurance, costing us an additional $6,300 out of pocket. Option 2: we could negotiate a cheaper repair, but Allyz Auto would only agree to a cheaper repair if we sign their "Hold Harmless Agreement". They made it clear that if a single operation was removed from the estimate, such as washing the car or blending the paint, we would need to sign this document waiving our right to sue the body shop for any injuries or damages resulting from the shop's negligence. We asked Juan whether this document applied only to the repairs that we refuse, or to all repairs. Juan said the shop would be responsible for the repairs they perform. However, we had an attorney look at the document and they confirmed we would be waiving all rights to sue. We did not find either of those options desirable, so we went with option 3: terminate the contract and get the repair done elsewhere. Allyz Auto billed us $3,800 for this option, which included the 4% estimate fee as mentioned before (~$480), but also labor costs, photography fee, administrative fee, storage fee, etc. Our insurance company ended up paying the bill for us. Afterwards, we got a repair at a different facility, who gave us an estimate of $6,800 which was fully covered by our insurance minus the deductible. This estimate is similar to the one provided by Allyz Auto, but excluded some items such as those I mentioned earlier in this review, like washing the car and removing the panels near the front of the car. This facility did not make us sign any kind of waiver to exclude these items.

Fantastic experience and reasonably priced. They walked me through every step of the process and laid out all my options. The estimate included all possible repairs but they only charged me for the parts and labor needed. High quality repairs, very informative throughout, and they had excellent recommendations for mechanics to take care of issues outside their expertise. 10/10 would highly recommend.

They are very professional and will keep you informed about everything you need to know pertaining to your car’s service. The company unfortunately had me purchase parts before actually setting an appointment and them assessing the problem. A $300.00 job after parts turned into $2,000 job once they actually did assessment. Charged me $120.00 for their time and $20.00 for zip ties to bandage the problem as $20.00 was for "labor". Sat there for 2 hours, spent $280.00 on only zip ties as that was only thing done. The company rather than holding themselves accountable, rather argue with me. and justify their actions. I don't believe in sides of a story, but facts. As for my feelings on the matter, I waited 2 months to assess if I should write this review. No emotions behind this review. Take this as constructive criticism for future clients. The older gentleman who worked the front who booked everything only could shake my hand as a 1/2 hearted apology. Very unfortunate.

I got estimates from several body repair shops, and I chose Allyz. Their price was actually lower than the other places. They were very professional and customer friendly. They even gave me a tour of their facility and it was immaculate! I got periodic updates and was invited to see my car during the process. They run their business with honesty, integrity and customer loyalty. I trusted them to do the job correctly and they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Allyz.

I recommend Allyz Auto/Color Recon to everyone! Allyz Auto/Color Recon has been with me for over 10 years, since my very first car. The first time I went to Allyz Auto/Color Recon it was my fault and the second time (different car) I was rear ended. I've taken all of my cars to Color Recon because of the quality of work, attention to detail, and customer service. I plan on "visiting" them again soon not because of an accident but because my car needs some "love". Between rock chips, bug damage, and yellow headlights I know that fixing those things will make my car look like new!

I was looking for a place to place new letters and detail my Range Rover with the graphene coating or ceramic coating. They went above and beyond. Great customer service nice clean facility. You can tell they love what they do. Take care and pride in their work and it shows. My Range Rover looks brand new again. They got out a small dent and fixed the oxidation that had started. I did a great job. I would highly recommend them for anybody with a higher end vehicle. They will take the time and do it right.

Allyz Auto was the perfect place to get my car fixed. At first I only needed to get my handle replaced, however after further evaluation we ultimately decided to get all the scratches on the car fixed to up its value. We weren’t sure if it was worth getting it fixed due to the price of it, but compared to other places I believe they offered us the best price. When it was time to pick up the car, it looked brand new. They even cleaned the outside of it, making it look even better. In addition to this, Al was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. 10/10 would recommend! Super friendly and professional.

This body shop did amazing with my vehicle! It felt as if I was buying my car for the first time at a dealership! The amount of joy and happiness I felt from looking at my car and seeing no dents or damages on the bumper was indescribable! I asked for the car to look as it did the first time I purchased it and this body shop GAVE ME JUST THAT! 10/10 would recommend to everyone! And not just the car, the individuals who work here were extremely respectful and a huge thank you to everybody here who has helped me deal with insurances as it is not an easy process!

The staff were all very friendly and professional. I have never been to a Body Shop that was so immaculate and beautiful. I had the pleasure of experiencing behind the scenes. From what I gathered they keep you included/informed in all processes on your vehicle along the way. They repair vehicles with OEM parts and Follow Manufacturing guidelines which unfortunately is not the norm in the other body shops in the region. They put the customer first and it shows in their work and transparency. I would highly recommend to anyone that asked.

Outstanding work. Amazing care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail at this shop. I had a glass-out repaint done and visited several times during the process: each time, I saw the technicians working on it like it was their very own car. Communication with the shop concerning options, parts needed, and advice was on a level I’ve never experienced before in dealing with body shops. The final product exceeded my expectations- my car looks better than it did when I purchased it new, 26 years ago. The shop is located almost 2 hours from home for me, but I honestly can’t see myself ever bringing a car to a different shop for painting or body repair. THANKS Allyz!

I had a PDR (paintless dent removal) service done on my car, which I thought it was going to be impossible to fix. Nevertheless this great body shop left my car looking way better than before dropping it to get it fix! They are Subaru certified and they have a bunch of other vehicle manufacturer certification. You can bet your vehicle is in great hands. A great thing also is that this body shop work for you, the costumer not the insurance. They are knowledgeable and highly skill with top of the line equipment. They guided me through the entire process of how the repairs was going to be. I love this place and they definitely have a costumer for life! If you're a car guy like me and love and take care of your vehicle. I highly recommend you take it there. All I have to say is thank you to everyone that works there for taking such a great care of my car and doing such a great job! I wish I can give them more than 5 start they deserve 10!

This is the shop FOR the customer, NOT the insurance companies. Time and time again these insurance companies have shown to go for the lowest cost, lowest quality repair job possible. Juan makes it such that they are forced to do the right thing and repair your vehicle the right way. 10/10 best auto body shop in town ?

They are great over the phone, try to meet all of your accommodations. Tell you they work with all manufacturers & to their standards/guidlines. When you get there, they will show you around their shop & tell you how much they spend on equipment, & how they keep it cleaner than others. I was told a had a 5-6pm estimate through text message, & got there at 430. We walked around he looked at my car, explained I was looking at 5-6k & 2-3 weeks minimum, (for a shattered windshield & a few dents. Not to mention Al, slammed my door shut & more glass fell, barely apologized when I gasped). 5:11pm, the estimator says "I'm not doing it, it's after 5. Go get the owner, that's what he's for". Not even a minute later, Al came out and said we can't help you because you are on a budget... I never even gave him a number. PLEASE CALL CENTRAL FL COLLISION SERVICES, LEES THAN 2 MILES AWAY! Nar, was amazing! I paid $1100, had my car back in 5 business days, and got free paint with a lifetime warranty on my windshield!! So glad they spared me! As a GM, I know how important reviews are, some people just have a bad day. These guys were bad all around. Even if they just didn't want to help because they weren't going to make thousands off of me, they didn't have to be so rude.

My car was rear ended and I took it to Allyz Auto / Color Recon to get repaired. They exceeded everything I could have expected and when I got my car back is was as good as new. The rear quarter was dented and they were able to repair it and color match it flawlessly. They were also able to handle and repair my aftermarket parts such as air suspension. Both Al and Juan are very experienced and you can trust this shop with your vehicle.

Juan and his team are AMAZING. I couldn’t ask for better service, patients and understanding. There’s no other shop out there better. We just purchased and had it for a week before someone backed into it. I was very nervous on who to trust to fix my car, the insurance company recommended other individuals however I did research and Juan and his team was the best option. They are honest and do great work. They’re always in the best interest of the, customer service is exceptional ! Juan and his team went above and beyond just to make sure I had exceptional service and made sure I was highly satisfied with the work. Words cannot explain my gratitude for color recon/allyz auto, Juan and his team they are freaking amazing !

Well let me start by saying sometimes n major of these body shops now a days say n promise a lot to a customers n then when it comes to the day of picking up the cars theirs always n issue with a flaws on what they do !! But when I look up ally auto / color recon n went to visit them before making my decision on where to take the car n get fixed .. I had the pleasure on meeting Robert which he was a nice wonderful person n show me around the shop to feel more comfortable n to reliable on what they do n how they work !! They are very detailed on what they do n that's why I choose to work with them n not a different shop !! I had my car get hit in the rear bumper it wasn't much on damage it was mostly just replacing 1 part but mainly painting the bumper n they really did an awesome job on painting my bumper just like when I got it from the dealership I was really stoked when I saw the job done !! They really would surprised you specially if you ever been to other body shops.. where they lack on paint jobs n have to repaint over what they have done that's not the body shop you wanna go to !!! So I definitely recommend ya to check out ally auto color recon n when you see the body shop it speaks for it self ?.. after I got my car back n I had to replace my side markers lights back to the laser lights I had put on before I found out that the body shop keep my pet bolts that hold the side marker lights n I couldn't put the new lights on because they weren't The correct t25 torque screw to hold the lights n ..I put tape just to cover the gap of when I took the lights off .. thinking that if I come back to the bodyshop n they would do rite for me n they call the manager Jerry n he came out side n I told him the issue I had n he went to the back n gave me back my t25 screws back n I told him if he could put the side markers lights back on for me since they messed up on their side by not giving me my originals screw n giving different screws n missing clips for my right inner fender well . he told me he couldn't help me at all on putting them back sending me back home for me to Finnish the job my self which it was only just to put the lights back on .. he said he had no time for a me as a customer when I was just here couple days ago

We have used Color Recon a couple of times for minor dings/paint repair and were very satisfied. Recently my car was totaled by a red-light runner so I wanted Color Recon to look at the damage and access it for repair. Robert was so knowledgable and helpful through the process. We have been dealing with the other party's insurance, and it was a big comfort to get advise from Robert. We would highly recommend Color Recon for their expertise and knowledge!

Color Recon did a great on turning it around for me after most of the issues was the insurance not willing to fully pay for the repairs. They stood up for what is best for me and helped me get my vehicle repaired the right way. They explained fully what was needed to get done and the insurance wanted to skimp on fixing the car and thanks to Color Recon, I was able to understand the process and what was needed to get the car fixed correctly. They do a thorough job and very well worth using Color Recon.

Everyone is very professional and they go up and above to help their clients. My experience with them was great. They have the knowledge to deal with insurance companies and they are all about getting the help their customers need. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs their car fixed, whether dealing with insurance or not. In my case the insurance wanted to fix my car for $1,800 when in reality the damages were above $8,000! After ColorRecon professionals inspected the car they work with insurance Adjusters and they were able to declare my car a total loss, and insurance paid all damages. Their experience and professionalism is incredible. I definitely recommend them.

I visited Color Recon yesterday to get a quote to paint and replace a rear bumper on our 2000 Toyota Camry. I told the owner/manager that I had already purchased the bumper - just needed them to do a nice matching paint job and replace the bumper. I explained that I had already been quoted a price of $350 from a shop down the street and wanted to see if they could do better on the price. I was provided a brochure and hard copy quoted price of $289 + tax for a total of $307.79. (see attached pix of the quote) We discussed dropping the vehicle off that evening or early in the morning so they could start work and finish it by Friday PM. I decided to bring it back in the morning. When I arrived at around 8:30 with the new bumper, the owner/manager asked what I wanted to do with the bumper. I was a bit perplexed - thought he was referring to the old damaged bumper. I asked him to clarify. He said the price I was quoted yesterday was just for painting and that it would cost another $75 to remove the old bumper and install the new bumper. Needless to say, I was astounded bcz I had made it very clear that I was looking for paint and replace service. I asked him, “Why would I come to you to do the same job for a higher price as I was just quoted by your competitor down the street?” He offered to drop the install price to $50. He apologized and said it was a misunderstanding/miscommunication. I told him, “No it wasn’t. I made it very clear what I wanted and if he could provide the service at a better price.” He apologized again. But the bottom line is, I was quoted one price and when I showed up for the work, the price mysteriously increased, even though I had been provided a hard copy quote the previous day. (Unfortunately, I did not have the hard copy quote which clearly states “Repl Paint and refinish” for $307.79.) In addition, why did we discuss leaving my car overnight if they were only going to paint the new bumper? We discussed it bcz he knew that the quote was for removing the old and installing the new bumper after it had been painted. So there was no misunderstanding/miscommunication with what I wanted and what I was quoted. It was just that he wanted to squeeze an additional $50 out of me. This is all on top of the fact that I had driven 5 miles there in 8:15 am traffic, arranged for my son to pick me up and drop me back home, then had to drive back home again, bcz the owner/manager decided to all of a sudden increase his price. As I told him, I am very unhappy with their unprofessionalism and last minute changes in price just as I am about to drop the vehicle off to start the work. Very uncool and very disappointed. Watch out for this guy! PS I don't object to businesses making a profit. I do object to being quoted a price for a service, then raising the price when you drive up to drop off your car for service. I guess you can't rely on a written quote from Color Recon!

Brought my 2013 Camaro in for a bumper painting. Price was fair and the work was done quickly. Staff was also extremely friendly and kept me up to date throughout the entire process. I would definitely come back again for future work. Pics of the work included as well as the color match between the old and new paint (Bumper was installed at a different shop so ignore any fitment issues).

I was very disappointed with my experience with Color Recon. I went a while back to get an estimate for a cosmetic repair of my lower lip front bumper due to three moderate dents and i was quoted $389 (see picture attached). I went back again today to get an estimate for the same repair because i thought i had lost my original quote. Today I was quoted $689 for the same repair (see picture attached). Somehow the cost had almost doubled! I called Color Recon and spoke with the owner Juan; unfortunately, he was not willing to honor the original estimate, because according to him, the original estimate was only for one side of the bumper. However, the estimate I requested was for the whole bumper. As anyone can clearly see on both estimates the the whole bumper was circled and no distinctions were made about it being left or right. Moreover, why would anyone repair or quote a repair of one side of the bumper and not the other side? I can understand if the price of a repair goes up, it does happen, but almost doubling in cost?! Also, if a business can't stand by a genuine estimate given, what can they stand for? Reply to his response... Mr. Juan, Let me start by saying, Wow! You just responded with one lie after another, I am in disbelief! I told you I’d blackmail you if you didn’t offer me a lower price?! Seriously?! How far are you willing to drag yourself in the gutter before admitting you were wrong? Sorry, but your alternative facts here are not valid. The true facts are: first, I never told you I had lost my original estimate, I told you I couldn’t find it, which I later did. Second, I do not have more damages in the bumper now than what I did when I first sought your quote. What you saw the first time around is the same as what you saw the last time. You either made a mistake on your original quote or you were just plainly trying to rip me off. Third, I never expected you to accept the old estimate, the only reason I brought it up was when you insinuated I was lying about you quoting me $389 to do the repair, which you did. Also, the only reason I waited to do the repair was based on your own advice! You told me to wait until almost the end of my lease to do the repair, which I am doing. You sir are being dishonest and you certainly lack in the integrity department. You obviously have no business doing estimates if you cannot do them properly and honorably. But if you must, when you make a mistake, own up to it! Don’t go online and start spreading lies in order to make you sound better, which by the way, it doesn’t. Nevertheless, I am very happy this happened; first, it exposes people to the kind of bullying and crappy service they might encounter at your business. And second, I was able to find a very reputable place that is doing the repair for only $189, saving me $500 and a headache.

I found Color Recon through a basic google search and saw that it had great reviews. I went in and dropped my car off for a minor accident. Whether it was through phone call or in person, these guys know how to extend great customer service. I'd even go as far as saying that many businesses could learn a thing or two about customer service from Color Recon. There were some issues with processing my claim, but Juan and his staff worked tremendously hard on my behalf. I was hit by a company vehicle and their insurance were fighting very hard to oppose the fixes Juan recommended. For 13 days, the fix was delayed, but Juan worked with me, fighting with the insurance company the whole way through. I highly doubt any other shop would have done the same given the minor damage my car had. Juan and his staff were so accommodating and I truly felt that they were on my side and wanting me to get my car repaired properly. When they finally were given the go ahead, my car not only was fixed beautifully, but my car was cleaned so professionally as well. I was simply impressed with everything Juan and his staff did for me. Not only will I go out of my way to recommend Color Recon to friends and family, but I will now forever be a client of theirs. Do yourself a favor and don't search elsewhere, Color Recon is the only shop you should be going to!

Color Recon exceeded my expectations in every way. Juan and Jay were both very professional and made every effort to communicate with me and manage expectations. Not only did they finish the job under my budget, but I was blown away by the quality of the finished product. They were up-front and realistic about my options and did all they could to repair my vehicle in a cost effective manner. This is a great body shop and I will continue to bring all my vehicles to Color Recon for any future work. Thank you again!!

Fantastic job. On schedule, on budget, their estimate was accepted by my insurance company with no problems. The car looks brand new, color matching is perfect. Not only that, they detail the interior and exterior of the car,vacuum clean, wash it and wax it for free. The final result was better than expected. Also the customer service is excellent and keep me informed at all times on the progress on the vehicle. Thanks Color Recon Team!
