I've been to tuners who just flash a generic map and send you on your way. Not at JDM TECH. The tuner spent an hour with me discussing my goals for a reliable, streetable Evo VIII that could still handle track days. The dyno session was a masterclass in patience and precision. The car made solid power, but more importantly, it's incredibly smooth and drives perfectly in traffic. They built a tune for MY car and MY needs. Highly recommend for any serious tuning work.

They have great customer service but my husband purchased a Subaru engine last year and had it sitting, trying to round up funds to put all the parts together. We were finally able to send it to a mechanic a month ago finally got it installed and started today and unfortunately the right side is ticking meaning the engine is no good and now we are out of warranty. I’m wondering if they even check these engines before selling them???

Ordered a k24rbb3 and got a great example of a low mile k series. Pulled valve cover and engine is super clean. After going back and forth with the crew with questions and shipping options i got the engine the next day after purchased. Arrived well protected and strapped down. Cant wait to get it built up and making power. Thanks again to the crew for quick responses.

I purchased a Subaru legacy 6 speed transmission and differential swap because my 5 speed blew up. These 6 speed transmissions are equivalent in strength to the Subaru Sti transmissions. Fast forward to me attempting to drive I put both the trans up and new diff. Turns out I was sold the wrong diff because the car would buck horribly on the road and it was the improper ratio for the trans. I needed the r180 diff and I received the r160. Fast forward again to the first time I go into 6th gear. It pops out of place into neutral. Turned out to be a bad synchro in the trans. I can definitely use 1-5 but that was the whole point of me moving to a 6 speed. Hence coming from an original 5 speed Wrx trans. I’m not saying they don’t know their stuff because one gentleman claimed he did but obviously not enough to sell me the proper and good quality car parts. Overall I’d be careful with this place if you’re buying drivetrain components. This is an edit for the reply they gave me if anyone even sees this: The transmission code for MY transmission dictates that it does indeed require an r180 torsen differential and not an r160 from FACTORY. So since I was sold an r160 from I don’t even know what car, it created an extreme bucking movement thru the drivetrain. Which means the r160 I was sold was incorrect. Yes I can use an r160 BUT it has to have the correct ratio, which the one I received did not. I didn’t mention it over the phone because I fixed the issue by reusing my original r160 that has the correct ratio and it now drives with no bucking which is fine. As for the 6th gear issue, i researched more and found it could be either a synchro which was mentioned before, or the shift fork inside the trans.

Just had a great experience buying a Silvia trunk that I’ve been searching for. The 2 people that helped me out were very helpful and gave me the chance to choose between a couple options they had that best suited what I was looking for. They had lots of other motors and body panels that were clean and looked to be in great condition.
