they are moving hopefully to another planet who have drones that care nothing about quality relevance or charm. This is not an antique store possibly a architectual goods store but they have their heads so far in the clouds they think it's going rain money down on their junk . Save time go somewhere else. REALLY!
Selling pieces you can find live online for much cheaper. I found the coffee table I had in mind from CB2 at this place, for $1000 more! lol! And it was used!
Why would anyone pay for that?
Overall the pieces are curated but nothing that great.
Overused and overpriced there’s no other way to describe it. Same exact dimensions on the same exact table brand new at CB is cheaper than this place which has it used and one corner is chipped as you can see in the third photo.
To give you an idea of how ridiculously overpriced this place is: This store had a small beaten up brown leather sofa similar to something you'd find abandoned on the the side of the road. Price? $5800
This is a store a set designers and stagers, or posers. If you're really looking for quality second hand stuff try Sunbeam in Highland Park.
The selection of items are brand new and egregiously priced. You won’t find any antiques here. Just new pieces that are “rustic.” Cool place to look around, but if you actually want to buy antique, secondhand furniture, do not come here. If you’re OK spending 5K on a small wooden stool, maybe this is the place for you…
Just flew in from Pa. and was so excited to come see a place I had been following on IG for a few years. Dragged my family across town to check it out only to find the place was closed. You should take the time to adjust your Google listing when you close for the day.
I absolutely love this place. There are so many unique and amazing items here ( some imported, some handmade, and some vintage). I go to be inspired. I go to come up with ideas for decor, and sometimes, I go to actually purchase. Unfortunately, because the items are such a splurge purchasing is rare. That said, I do believe that because of the uniqueness and the high quality they are worth the price. They also allow you to take things on memo which is top-notch.
A great antique shop in Los Angeles. There are many nice and sophisticated antique items on display. Unfortunately, the San Francisco store seems to have closed, but the Big daddy's antique in Los Angeles has opened. I think it's definitely a shop you should visit at least once.
Wow. What a collection of items. Huge interior and exterior space with so many unique items, my partner and I loved exploring every inch of this place. We even made a little friend along the way that followed us as we were outside. Even though we regretfully left without buying anything due to the premium prices, it was an impressive collection.
Inspirational-looking and a great selection of new as well as old home goods for inside as well as outside. It’s huge! Prepare to spend some time looking if you’re a serious buyer. BUT taking off two stars because the prices are simply ridiculous. So high that some items merely made me laugh. I know that from a lifetime of antiquing, thrifting and buying with my interior designer friends + family members. LA in general vastly overprices items for the home — it happens all over the city — and this is just another example of that. They’re hardly the only ones charging these prices.
Nice place to be lost.
•Parking - great: I saw in some reviews they said that the parking is tricky here, wasn't true for me. There are 7-8 assigned parking places for the big daddy's visitors and street parking
•Covid protocol - great: All personal were wearing masks, and there wasn't a lot of people in the store, so it was easy to keep social distancing
This is a place where I feel very disappointed! Today I drove two hours to this antique shop, but I didn't see what I saw in the pictures. I don't know why the picture was updated yesterday, but there is nothing today. I don't know why the business does this, is it just to attract customers' eyes?
Loved exploring this unique place! Beautiful, very friendly, & a great overall experience! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're ever in the area.
This an amazing venue with an eclectic mix of antique & vintage furniture and home decor! Its huge with indoor & outdoor sections. Very high quality..its definitely not your grandma's antique store!!! ♡♡♡
Definitely an impressive collection. I love the exclusive collection. I didn't love being completely ignored by the staff. I always appreciate a "you doin ok?"... makes me feel like they actually realized I was in the store.
There for walk though possibly for wedding reception. Awesome place considering all the options of decor available! waiting to find out date available!?
The place is incredible. I was here for a wedding and had some time to wander the store beforehand - they have an incredibly well curated and interesting collection. Nothing struck me as being affordable but if you're looking for statement pieces, this would be an incredible place to get them.
