I found Speedway Tire on google and am so happy I did! My tire was flat and unfortunately the area where the nail was found could not be patched. Within 15 minutes, my tire was replaced. Quality service, fair pricing, and great customer service!
I love my mechanic ??!!!! They have great customer service and quality work!!! Keeps my Mercedes E550 purring ?!!!! Call or come in! They have done my brakes, oil services, smoke test, wheel services, and fixed my lights ?!!! They keep me rolling and safe! Plus they offer water, tea, and starbursts and you can watch TV. It's in Echo Park for food and coffee!! Close to DTLA.

Great experience here: I had a nail in my tire and was quoted $60 at another tire repair shop (with a 1 hour wait), so I called Mike at Speedway and he got me in the same day with a $30 patch cost. The service was very quick, pricing was accurate, and Mike and the staff were very efficient and no BS. I will be returning for their oil change + free tire rotation deal!
Such a great place! As a woman, I’ve had my fair share of mechanics in LA trying to overcharge or upsell me, but these guys have been nothing but honest and fair. Their prices are great, and they’ve always been friendly and helpful with every issue I’ve had. I’m so glad a friend recommended this shop!

Friendly gentlemens that fixed my Audi's wheels and alignment. Excellent service, awesome guys. For Audi owners (I drive a 2012 q5/sq5 Quattro): make sure to bring your Audi's wheel lock key/sprocket. Audi, BMW, European cars have wheel locks that need a sprocket key to take the tires off. Keep that key safe forever.

I came here yesterday for a tire rotation. The co owner Mike was extremely kind and didn’t try to upsell me. I as also got my wipers changed. Everything took about 45 minutes and my car felt better immediately! I’d definitely recommend.
Great service! Dropped off my car since this place is walking distance. I didnt have an appointment but it was early afternoon so I was able to get an oil change in an hour. Staff is very helpful. Check them out!

They try to take advantage of women at this location. I changed my own brakes and rotors March 2024 and they tried to tell me I needed to replace them for almost $400.
I went in through a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. Let’s hope it was actually the full synthetic oil. I’ll be monitoring my car for the next few months.
What an efficient and pleasant experience! Excellent customer service-a not so common thing in the service world nowadays, but not here, they got your back! Did a walk in (no appt) within 10 minutes of calling in. I was in and out in no time. I needed a quick tire inspection and found this shop nearby after doing a simple search for “tire shop” on maps. Read one or two reviews and the 5 stars live up to the shops reputation. Polite, quick, and thorough - and budget friendly. Got tire ? fixed and new wiper installed. Clean and cool waiting room with great AC and lounge chairs too! Thank you Mike for taking care of me and my ride. Oh and they reset the tire pressure for all 4 tires! ? highly recommend if you’re in the Echo Park-DT-Chinatown area.

This is my go to auto repair shop in LA. I’ve been three times & each time I’ve been quoted a fair price and the work gets done in a timely fashion. The first two times were general maintenance, brake pads & realignment.
This past time I had a radiator hose crack & needed to get my car towed to the shop. It was right before closing and Fred offered to come back and open the gate even if they were closed. He also fixed it the next day even though it was Saturday.
As a woman, you can feel comfortable knowing this shop isn’t going to price gouge or lie to you. I know my car exceptionally well and everything he diagnosed was accurate and fairly priced. Highly recommend.
I came to the garage to find a diamond that had fallen deep between the seats of my car, and Fred helped me find it professionally and with great kindness. Highly recommend.

Speedway is awesome and Fred is the best!! Highly, HIGHLY recommended. I brought my car in because it was lit up like a Christmas tree, yikes! Fred gave me a free diagnostic check and looked into all the issues I was concerned about. He was super helpful and kind and explained everything to me so I could understand it. He also didn’t try to upsell me on anything which I really appreciated. The prices here are super fair and the service is absolutely excellent! This is definitely my new go to mechanic!

I've been to Speedway twice and both times I felt taken care of and prioritized. The first time I visited was for a hole in my tire. I was on my way to LAX to pick someone up when I discovered it. They got me in really quickly so that I could get back on the road ASAP. The second time was for an oil change. I went the same day with no appointment and they got me right in. They called me letting me know they found some concerns in my inspection, and that I could have them also fixed within an additional hour. Two and a half hours after dropping off my car, I had new oil, new brake pads, and new cabin filters. At the dealership, it would have taken twice as long for all of that. Affordable prices, honest business, and quick and speedy. Definitely recommend!
I went here with my husband for an oil change, and the mechanic was SO nice! He made sure to make us feel welcome and comfortable - he made sure to turn the TV on for us, helped us make some coffee, and even stocked the coffee bar for us. They offered an amazing price and deal for an oil change of $68. Highly recommend!
