Alfonso is the most rude, unaccountable, unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered.
My husband and I have been attempting to obtain the amplifier we paid for from his business for nearly 2 weeks without resolution.
We have documented every conversation with him, including a receipt confirming our upfront payment in full.
At this point, his business practices are extremely concerning. On multiple occasions, we have physically gone to his business location only to find no staff member present during stated business hours.
In addition, we have been repeatedly given conflicting information regarding the amplifier. Delivery dates promised by you were not honored, and when a part was finally provided, it was the incorrect item. We immediately photographed the incorrect part and communicated the issue to Alfonso. Once again, he assured us the correct part would be provided, only for us to later receive another explanation claiming the replacement part was “broken.”
Due to his failure to provide the product and service originally paid for, we demanded a full refund. We have also attempted to return the incorrect part, but once again, on 5/30/26, his business was closed.
We also have documented text messages from him stating that our refund would be sent via Cash App on 5/30/26. We agreed to that arrangement; however, the refund was never sent.
Furthermore, after we informed him by text that the refund had still not been received, Alfonso called my husband on 5/31/26 while we were preparing for church. During that phone call, his behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable, including YELLING, CURSING, and making THREATENING remarks.
We demanded that our full refund be issued and If this matter is not resolved immediately, we are prepared to file formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and pursue any additional remedies available to us.
DO NOT CONTACT US BY PHONE. All further communication should be made in writing (text message). Additionally, you owe my husband an apology for your conduct. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
If it becomes necessary for us to return to your business location, we will do so accompanied by law enforcement to ensure the interaction remains professional and peaceful.
Strong Warning: Avoid This Business – Fraudulent Practices, Partial Refund Only, and Unprofessional Conduct
On December 2, 2025, I purchased an engine from Tex Auto Wrecking, with Alfonso handling the transaction. The business promised delivery by a specific date, but when I requested the VIN for the donor engine, Alfonso provided one that proved fraudulent upon verification. Independent research confirmed the associated vehicle was located in Yuma, Arizona, with a blown motor—clearly indicating Tex Auto Wrecking never possessed the engine.
After expressing concerns and requesting a full refund for the undelivered item, Alfonso became highly unprofessional, resorting to emotional outbursts, personal insults (including references to my family), and threats of physical violence. The business also attempted to impose an unjustified 35% restocking fee on an item never received or in their possession.
Following involvement of the Bureau of Automotive Repair, Alfonso agreed to process a refund by December 30, 2025. However, I received only a partial refund—half the amount paid—with no satisfactory explanation for withholding the remainder. Additionally, an unsolicited early-morning text from an individual named “Elizabeth” claimed the full refund was impossible due to alleged frozen accounts from my fraud reports, a tactic consistent with known scam patterns to evade full restitution.
Nearly a month after payment, no engine has been delivered, and the outstanding balance remains unpaid despite repeated promises. This experience demonstrates a lack of integrity, misleading sales practices, and reluctance to honor legitimate refund requests.
I strongly advise potential customers to avoid Tex Auto Wrecking. This review reflects my documented experience. I continue to pursue resolution through appropriate authorities, including the Bureau of Automotive Repair.
