Rude and dismissive! I brought my car to inquire regarding my check engine light but before I could continue speaking, the owner yelled “we don’t service that car”. Horrible service and rude

The owner really cares here, they used totota genuine fluids too which i greatly appreciate this sort of detail for my vehicles. I also received some very helpful advice and tips on caring for my car. Very speedy oil change (about 10-20 mins). I would definitely recommend as i usually work on my own vehicles and its difficult to trust new mechanics places. Reasonable price for the quality and efficiency they offer here. 🙏🙏

My family has known them for 30 years. No nonsense, fair pricing after I did research online and called other places. Appreciated their expertise on fixing my old but loved car. Fast turnaround. Had to have engine, spark plugs, gaskets replaced. I was uncertain about who to trust but I appreciate how they handled things.

Stopped by for an oil change and check-up. Owner recommended to change tires and get alignment instead of ripping me off for non-existing issues. Huge respect.

Went in to get coolant and my tires checked. It wasn't crowded that day so there was no wait. Service was fast and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic! I brought in my car because it was shaking and rattling during braking. John was able to narrow the cause down to a couple of possibilities, and gave me the option to either have him try a fix or to get a second opinion. I trusted him to try the fix first (replacing a brake pad and resurfacing a rotor) and that solved the issue. John is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy, and his expertise saved me so much time and money. I can't say enough good things about J&S Onestop Auto Repair!

Best auto shop in LA. John (the owner) and his staff are very knowledgable and trustworthy! John recommends only things you need to fix and even suggest not fixing that’s not worth or can wait a little longer. Also takes care of the issues until it got fixed! Very pleased with the service!

Yann and S were amazing. I dropped my car off and they took so much care to make sure that I could get my car back day off, as they finished work very quickly, or could pick up the next day at my convenience. Synthetic oil change was about $77 and they were quick at diagnosing the brake pad issue and fixing it for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

I really appreciate this shop. Came here with an issue several months ago and I appreciated the owner taking the time to explain it to me. I don't know much about cars and he was very patient and never felt like he was trying to upcharge me. Offered me two options, to clean the part or replace it. He was also transparent; he was pretty confident that cleaning it would fix it but also told me there was a chance that it may not. After picking up my car, he took the time to tell me about changing the type of gas and how I can better maintain my vehicle. I haven't had an issue since. Today, 4/9/24, I called the shop because I need some documents for my insurance because my car was stolen. The owner was very helpful but also took the time explain how I can navigate my situation.

I was looking for an oil change and had some recommendations for J&S. The experience was smooth and usual but what made the service appealing and sincere was John's willingness to give you tips about your car. He is proactive and will always think of the customers first.

On August 10th, I came to make for brake change on my Outlander Sport, and they changed the pads and resurfaced my brake rotor, and last Friday my brakes stopped working properly and I had to pay again for someone else to fix it. I went to talk to the owner of the shop and he did not refund my money. I don't recommend this place at all.

It’s really rare to meet mechanics, bodyshop who are honest and caring. I called five places for a quote and he is the only one who was straightforward and simple about what I had to do. Didn’t have to spend money. My car didn’t need brake oil at the moment. Breath of fresh air to meet someone so frank and sincere in this field of business especially here in LA. Thank you! Will send all my friends, relatives, family and coworkers here from now on.

As a woman, it’s very hard to find honest mechanics. Every time I’ve come to J&S, they only repair what needs to be fixed. Unlike other shops, they do not try to sell unnecessary repairs. My husband, who is quite handy with cars, can attest to the high quality and reasonably priced work that J&S has done on my car as well as his. I highly recommend supporting this honest, high quality mom-and-pop auto shop!

Like basically every review has stated, John is the sweetest mechanic I've ever met. I saw him interact with several people before me and he was super patient with everyone, and took his time to explain everything. Pricing was also extremely reasonable. It's so rare to find someone who actually cares about your wellbeing and the wellbeing of your vehicle, so I'm so glad I was able to find his place!! Definitely will return for all my future oil changes and car maintenance!!

John has been my go-to guy for almost 20 years now. I've had more than 5 different vehicles, and he is very savvy just about all of them. He is super kind, and he'll make sure your car is back to normal before it leaves the lot. And your 100% satisfaction too!

I came by after the guy at Valvoline said I needed something or other done beyond my regular oil change. The mechanic here was nice and honest. He said the guy at Valvoline was talking me up, my car was fine, and to come to him for my next oil change. He is my regular mechanic now and I plan to go there to have some work done soon.

John is an incredibly honest and friendly mechanic who cares about his customers. I came in urgently for an oil change at around 3:30 and called beforehand. John told me to come in right away which was a relief to hear since my local dealerships weren't willing to take me in the same day. I was in and out in about 20-30 minutes. Best of all, the price was extremely fair and I didn't feel ripped off at all. My dealerships usually charge double the amount for a simple service plus additional costs for labor just for "inspecting" my vehicle. I thought I needed a tire rotation as well and asked John about it, and he advised me that I should be getting a wheel alignment done once a year instead because of the way the tires on my specific car's model is designed. This is some super honest advice that dealerships wouldn't even dare to tell me. I also heard John speaking to some customers over the phone and I could tell he is wiling to help people out to the best of his abilities. I'm relieved to have found finally a great mechanic in the LA area.

John brings old school customer service! He is quick to give advice and takes the time to sit and explain things to you. He's not pushy and doesn't try to upsell you, he simply wants to provide his years of experience to anyone who walks into his shop. I would trust him to do any service on my car.

Trustworthy and honest mechanic. John is wonderful - he always gets me in for an appointment quickly when I call and never tries to sell me something I don't need. On my most recent visit, he told me a part would still be under warranty and to take it to the dealer for that particular repair. Prices are great and location is convenient. I highly recommend!
