After two accidents this year and two visits to Rick's Auto Body I can't speak highly enough about the work Kevin and his team do. They reasonable and efficient. Worked very well with my insurance company. The customer service is top notch. I have been in 5 accidents in 5 years. Used 4 different body shops and Rick's is by far is the best in Los Angeles.
Honest, Skilled, Old-School Quality Shop
I recently brought my 2025 Equinox EV to Rick’s Auto Body & Paint in Silverlake after an accident, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. I ended up at Rick’s through a very unexpected—and surprisingly heartwarming—circumstance: the woman who accidentally hit my car, has been a loyal customer here for decades and insisted I take it to them. She told me they’ve always treated her right, even doing little extra touches over the years they never charged her for. After working with them myself, I understand why she’s been with them so long.
From the moment I stepped in, Armen and Kevin made the whole process easy. Armen took the lead on my repair, and Kevin spent nearly an hour talking cars with me—these guys are true enthusiasts who care deeply about their craft.
The damage turned out to be much more involved than I expected (including suspension and transmission-related components). Even so, Rick’s handled everything directly with the insurance company, kept me updated, and moved quickly.
When I picked the car up, I was stunned. The repair was flawless—paint matched perfectly, alignment restored, everything driving like nothing ever happened. They even detailed the car before handing it back. It genuinely looked better than it did before the accident.
Because of how impressed I was, I’m already planning to bring my older project car—a ’90s BMW I’ve been restoring—for a full repaint. After seeing the quality of their work up close, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with it.
If you want a shop that is honest, personal, extremely skilled, and still believes in doing things the right way, Rick’s is that rare gem. I’m incredibly grateful I was pointed to their direction—and now I get why she’s stayed a customer for decades.

Would give 6 stars if I could. ABOVE AND BEYOND. Truly took so much pride in the work and the customer service was next level. I hope I'm not in need of their services any time soon, but if I am I will 100% be returning.

What really stands out is the respect they show their customers—if unexpected work comes up, they always inform us right away, giving us time to plan for other transportation. Kevin at Rick's was a godsend! I had some body damage to my 2002 4Runner that the insurance company considered totaled. Kevin took the project on and did an incredible job getting my car back to looking like new. Kevin was very knowledgable, communicative, and fair with the pricing. He delivered on his promise and did great quality work.

Do not bring your car here! They use EXTREMELY cheap parts. I was fooled by their good reviews and attentive customer service. The parts they used for my fender and bumper are such bad quality, that a minor bump by my neighbors tire completely ripped the low quality bumper from the cheap fender material they used on my car. I called them to ask how the parts they used could become so damaged from a tire rubbing against my car. They said to bring it in and they would reattach it. When I brought it in, they refused to reattach it, were very rude to me and said they didn't care if I left them a bad review. I wish I could give 0 stars, because now I need to have it fixed CORRECTLY by a more reputable auto-body shop. Don't be fooled by Ricks Auto Body like I was, take your vehicle to a shop that offers a warranty. Don't learn the hard way by using Ricks!

Ricks auto body is the only body shop I go to. The professionalism they execute every time i stop in for a repair is not comparable. They are fast, but above all the service is immaculate. Ive recommended everyone in my family to use Rick's, and everyone feels the same about the service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Rick's is amazing. They are probably the last honest body shop you can find in town. I've gone for issues big and small... they are super fast, always fairly priced, and deliver high quality results.
They fixed minor damage to my car lose body panel in 5 minutes. Tried to give him$10 he refused to take it.

This is the most honest and comfortable body shop I have ever been to. I had them fix my girlfriends car and they did an awesome job. Seriously a great place
I went to the Toyota dealer to get a dent fixed and they quoted me this outrageous number and were talking about replacing doors and crazy stuff. Kevin at Ricks gave me a quote that was realistic and the guys easily knocked out my dent and matched paint perfectly. The service was excellent, they went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience. Thanks guys!
Rick's auto-body is one of the best , if not the best in town. Being picky as I am , I can't say enough good words on the quality of their work they did on my Mercedes E-350 and communication that Arsen initiated to keep the customer informed on the progress. Would recommend anyone and anytime to this place.
This body shop is outstanding. I have taken my car to them for over 15 years, and they never fail to live up to their reputation. My family also goes to them. They do excellent work, give impeccable service and are honest and caring. I can't recommend them highly enough!
